Yes, things don't change too much. I think there will always be people that understand that Hip Hop music is music, entertainment and then the people that take it way too seriously the wrong way. Not for the best reasons. Kool G Rap is one of the dopest.
What I meant was back then, NY was really bad and I know it's like that everywhere but I'm saying, maybe G wasn't moving like but he definitely was rolling around others who got down like that. It's just a monumental reflection of a certain time and place because if anyone wrote anything remotely close to this, they'd get raided and detained by FBI and probably put on a 'no fly' list. That's just how crazy for me, to see how much times have changed.
@@plebflayer666 okay, I can tell you from growing UP in New York City back then G definitely wasn't lying but I don't think that he was actually doing this. Just stories like Schoolly D, Ice T, N.W.A., etc. Some true, some entertainment.

The beat in the background at the 1:00 min mark is the original beat produced by my guy Naughty Shorts. Sir Jinx took this song and fucked it up. The original beat was much more slower with a slower flow giving off that old gritty NY sound. Somebody stole that cassette from me that had G.Rap's Demo, i would've posted it. That demo had Nas,GRap, White Boy aka Johnny Blanco vs Ike Capone and his guys, it was called Queens Assassins vs The Brooklyn Assault Team. It also had the original version of "I Ain't Trickin" that was a million times better than that Killer Kuts bullshit. I can still hear that bassline crystal clear all of these years later.
@@eutue I can't someone stole it from my crib. I had it on a G.Rap demo with the original version of Great Train Robbery, I ain't trickin, and Queens Assassins vs Brooklyn Assault Team. The original version to Don't Curse by Heavy D was on it too, it still sounded the same but there a part on the song were the beat just played with no raps in between the verses of Heavy D and Q-Tip, that empty spot was supposed to be Rakim, I forgot how or why he skipped the studio session.
