The whole town thought it insane, tried to talk him out of it, but he was set. He couldn't be friends, because Padriac was "dull." I disagree with Colm, who's no picnic. He cuts off his nose to spite himself. Maybe that's the point of his self-mutilation. I like to think Padriac eventually accepted what he couldn't change. That, being Colm.
I love this film! It's more character study than plot and that's what makes the movie so fascinating & engrossing. I would not be mad if The Banshees of Inisherin (or Top Gun: Maverick) wins for Best Film at the 2023 Academy Awards.
“Hurty Rock” I love it.
Glad to see the fingers grew back, Brendan. The things you do for your craft!
colin has changed SO much in his interviews from when he was in his late 20´s. He is such a sweetheart.
just watched The Banshees of Inisherin omfg....loved it.
I will always have a thing for Colin❤️

'you always hurt the one you love' nice 🤩
Thank you so much, greatness is made from ❤ . Thank you for the wonderful feedback. Where are you watching from?
In Bruges is one of my favorite movies of all time and one of the very few titles i prefer the german translation of : "Brügge sehen ... und sterben?" ("See Bruges ... and die?")
They were so brilliant together in In Bruges, I can't wait to see this film!
Love these guys, I hope they remain friends
Them two always seem like they just stepped out of the pub
After a couple of pints…
I think Colin's been sober quite a while. Does a good impression of it though 🙂
Colin should be the next Bond 007
An Irish james bond? Not possible for many, many reasons😂
Edit - Brosnan doesn't count. Total West Brit
@@ajorngjdonaydbr Just a reminder, Pierce Brosnan is Irish ☘️
@@ajorngjdonaydbr would not be possible would it not 😅😅😅
@@ajorngjdonaydbr but it’s already happened with Pierce Brosnan. I don’t think Colin would be interested in it though. Not his style.
Colin is too famous
Saw it today. Fantastic
We demand a trilogy of these two. Two wonderful films.
Total delight this
This is the most intriguing idea I have had so far streaming with my fans, thanks for your support and I wish to hear more insights from you soonest maybe on a more private note ❤❤ where are you watching from?
I watched their movie last night and loved it
loved it but it hit EVERY emotion. NO film I can remember hit them ALL. The Thing hit horror and understanding and fear - Hot Fuzz gets the understanding of a friendship (it builds to a point you GET is old-standing in this film). I loved it - did it all. Then it takes a dark turn... it's a horror film how madness can ruin loads of lives.... with a good ending with SOME people but not those dwelling in their new horror
I did like this movie a lot. Two great actors, great animal "co-stars" and beautiful countryside. I was on the west coast of Ireland a few years ago and this movie reminded me of what a wonderful place it is. And the Irish are a lovely, friendly people, that made us American feel right at home.
A trillion thanks and gratitude for supporting my career and movies 😊 where are you watching from

@@tiebaojin Your words are definitely charming and thanks 🙏🏼 to you and other numerous devoted supporters in your region. It’s an awesome feeling for me to be able to appreciate/compliment you directly, for watching and streaming my art works… how long have you been supporting??
This flick looks awesome!
You MUST see it.
When they say that the west coast of Ireland is a magical place they are spot on, there again the whole island has something about it. I think it may have something to do with the people. Brilliant film by the way.
I utterly agree with you on both counts. I've spent the weekend on Inishmore, and I recognized the landscape of that magical place. And yes, the film is so brilliant that I'm spending time on the internet tracking down these two! They did a great interview on Rotten Tomatoes, followed by one with the wonderful young actor who plays Dominic.
I am SO GLAD these two are talking again.
Both actors are so brilliant 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Colin will always be "the coach" for me. 2 good a character :P
Brendan Gleeson great actor.
I was watching the hands of Brendan to be sure that not a finger was missed 😂
