I remember riding around in those old 57 Plymouth had push-button automatic transmission I was 5 my parents ran a Beer Joint and these cars were parked outside every Friday and Saturday night, jumping up and down with the windows all steamed up! Those were the good old days. My grandmother said color television gave her a headache and my mother-in-law said that black and white television gave her a headache they were both crazy.
Burt Mustin, who plays the neighbor Mr. Finley, was born in 1884 so he was about 73 when this was taped - and he looks exactly the same when he appeared in 'The Brady Bunch' in 1973 at the age of 89!
Luv these old programs. We are inundated with mass generic Cookie cutter Holiday movies that don’t leave an indelible mark on our hearts. So glad we can turn to youtube for a real Christmas programming fix. Thanks for this. Merry Christmas everyone 🦃🎄❤️
Wow I never heard of this show before. Betty White I never seen her this young before, I only remember her when she was married to a game host (Can’t remember his name) and on Golden Girls. Even her voice sounds different. Thank you for sharing this show. Keep them coming because I might find some more I never knew about
RUclips also has/had videos of Betty White's show before this: Life With Elizabeth Life is more,..cute(?) than funny, with Betty playing a naive newlywed wife. Apparently, Betty was into word play and occasional puns during the period she appeared on Elizabeth. Listen closely or you may not always get the joke. RUclips also has/had another show with Ms White that came AFTER her stint on The Mary Tyler Moore Show. Not a spinoff, though the show had her "buddy" Georgia Engel as a co-star. The Betty White Show is kind of fun, I especially like the opening sequence of the show as it makes her seem like a cross between Magnum P.I. and Superman.
The first of many programs Betty White and her announcer/spokesman Tom Kennedy would work together. Betty was one of the first celebrity guests on Tom’s long running NBC game show You Don’t Say! and would guest on many other shows he hosted over the years.
Burt Mustin has looked the same for 30-40 years, like he was never younger than 60 years old. And how interesting, Nancy Kulp manages to work for more than 1 money hungry penny pincher.
NasbySZ Brown: You didn't grow up in the 50s, did you? Many of the commercials were kind of amateurish. I didn't see this show when I was a kid, but the 57 Plymouth was both a dynamic design and kind of slapdash in assembly.
Remember on January 17 2022 to wish Betty White a Happy 100th Birthday!!!
Betty white is a great lady. I loved all the old shows she was in. Betty may God bless you. Much love.

True classic family shows, they can never be made again. The stuff that's on now is complete trash. Thank you for the awesome show
I totally agree!
How I first heard of Betty White, my mom ma's comedy show.....had me hooked to Betty White...RIParadise Ms. White

One of the best Christmas TV Episodes of the 50s!!
PizzaFlix-Thank-you for uploading all these wonderful episodes! Betty White is great!! Thnx
I am enjoying this show so much. Thank you for posting this gem.
At 4:00 is veteran actress Nancy Kulp in her pre Beverly Hillsbillies days. Also played Hoppie's mother on Sanford & Son. "WELL I NEVER!!" LOL
A Date With The Angels was regular viewing with me. I loved BW and the rest of the cast were funny people.

You must be talking about Allen Ludden, whom she married :)
Thank You for Sharing these Shows. I really enjoyed this one.
God bless you, Betty White! We love you, and look forward to seeing you in Heaven. Give our love to your husband, Alan Ludden!
Thank you so much for sharing this warm, wonderful show!!

And both Narzes served as announcers on her early sitcoms. Jack did the same on Life With Elizabeth.
Now Betty IS AN angel RIP
Having met her on occasion I can tell you, she always was.
And Mr Wallace's heart grew three sizes that day
RIP Betty White.
A 1958 Plymouth Fury ?? Thanks for the upload !! Xd
She had 3 shows in at the same time.
And Richard "Fred Rutherford" Deacon.

500 dollars a month in 1957 THAT WAS ALOT What happened to the sound at the end?
27:19 - End of show
Where did the sound go?
@27:19 Sound is lost. Returns at end for Plymouth commercial only. 🙄
Does the sound cut off before the ending because of music copyright?
Why the drop-off of sound in the last few minutes of the show?
11:40 Oh, to live on $500/month... LOL!
Commercials haven't changed, much have they? In this contest, it was $500 a month for the rest of your life...now it's $5000 a week...
What year did they make this show
Kathy Cooper I think it was 1957
The Plymouth ad is terrible.

You must belong to ten of the most critical cretins that ever stood between a contestant and their Plymouth and HERE THEY ARE!
