- This is Chick Corea's solo on his own composition "Captain Marvel", the opener of Stan Getz Quartet's performance at the 1972 Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland. The Quartet featured two members of the fusion band "Return to Forever", founded by Corea.

@@tianshu_musiclogue agreed. don't know if you know Estancia by chick but if you did a transcription of his solo there it would be awesome. also what's your method of transcribing? just lots of practice over the years?
@@PeterKudelin Will definitely give Estancia a thought! I (have done and) plan to do more Chick-related stuff anyways :) I have done a moderate amount of (jazz) transcribing but nothing crazy. Usually I would transcribe things I have heard of many times, so this helps to expedite the process - the editing is the tedious part!
