Love the updates and glad all is well. Be safe and looking forward to seeing you in NC! Checking into getting you a slip in St. James Marina, Southport NC if you're interested and that still works into your scheduled travel time.
Mike, awesome progress! I have always shared with fellow riders that extended open ocean riding takes a certain endurance and definitely not for everyone! I seen folks wanting to quit 30 miles out on way to Bimini Bahamas and once we got there, you could have gotten a great deal on a ski because they did not want to ride back! 😆🤣 Salud! Cheers!
Thanks for sharing the ride. If you’re heading past Cape Canaveral later this week-there’s rocket launches scheduled for Thursday evening and Sunday morning.
The first tablet was made by Sailproof, and is waterproof, rugged, super bright, and does not overheat in direct sunlight. I accidentally left the charge ports open on a rough ride, and that did ruin it. But that was my fault...
I ride about 6000kms a year and thought I was hard core, I am not but you sure as hell are. I ride a portion of the great loop regularly ( trent severn) look forward to the rest of your trip.
@@MichaelStraubSeaDooLooper Doing 6000 kms a year where the lakes are frozen for up to 6 months requires strict discipline and a wife that loves it. It is probably a good idea to stay away from Canada right now, it seems we are suffering from a bit of Tyranny at the moment. They run the lock system required for the shortcut and predictably the system is collapsing but diverse.
Looks like a great adventure but I think i would want to have at least one more vessel with me
Yep... would have been much safer!

OMG I wish you'd have done the wilderness waterway thru the Everglades from Ft Myers to Flamingo!
No PWC allowed in Everglades NP...
nice run and noice ski! how are you able to see weather radar on your tablet?

6000 km is a lot!! The Trent Severn sounds beautiful, but I haven't decided whether to do that or stick to the US side of the Great Lakes.
