Haha I totally had to laugh at Joel wanting to lock the door because that’s exactly something my husband would do!! Also my husband actually did get frostbite on his toe almost two years ago and his toe is hyper sensitive! Love Love Love the matching outfits!! Makes me excited about one day having a girl to match with!

Bonnie and Joel my uncle has had those foot tumors his entire life. Last year he had surgery and says he feels the best he ever has. The freezing option sounds amazing. I believe Joel will be healed. Best of luck.
My husband literally had surgery yesterday on his right foot!! It was a 5 hour surgery where he had bone removed, bone shaved down, tendons repaired and an anchor put in and he is in ZERO PAIN bc they did a nerve block!! After it wears off they said just ibuprofen will be needed. 🙌🏻 Total recovery is 6-8 weeks.

Hi Bonnie & Joel! I had Cryoablation done for kidney cancer that was in Stage 1. Not sure if this is done the same on feet, but I'm going on 6 years cancer free since my surgery! Yay! Praise God! It's less invasive and the incisions are much smaller as you said. I hope this works for Joel too!

God's timing is NO JOKE! I'm a physical therapy student and in my Clinical Medicine course just yesterday for foot and ankle, one of the topics we discussed was neuromas. I instantly thought of Joel. They're commonly caused by probation of the foot (a flat foot). Also, I asked if the pressure from running can cause them (my thought was how much Joel runs.). My professor who's a practicing therapist said that that could cause them as well. Just a suggestion for more conservative management or even after surgery, If Joel could see a physical therapist I think it could be beneficial. It might involve some retraining of his running and walking. But it might improve the condition without surgery! Good luck Joel!

I *love* the Hoelleins but I have to jump on the bandwagon....I don't understand why the kids are not *properly* in *car* *seats* and *belts*. Bonnie you are clearly wearing your seatbelt right so why not make your kids safety a priority too? Boston needs a 5 point harness and truth be told Cody probably as little as he is needs one too since he is more petite for his age. It's annoying as all get out to put kids in car seats, I mean I hate them-the buckling, the complaining from the kids and all that goes with it. But it is for their SAFETY. My 7 year old cousin died in a car crash, she was too small in a normal seatbelt that wasn't on right-like Olivias- and the seatbelt didn't protect her and she ended up hitting something in the car and her brain literally fell out of her cracked skull upon impact. It's gut wrenching and tragic but there is a possibility that if she had been properly belted she could have lived. *PLEASE* don't be lazy and take the time to fix this issue. Bonnie I know you love your kids, like the I could *squeeze* *you* *to* *death* *love* , so please listen to us when we say we are not harping on you or pointing out this as a "bad parenting" it is just constructive criticism because we love your family like our own and we want every one to be safe and happy for a long, long time! .

Joel, I had a neuroma removed from my right foot a few years ago and I can attest that the pain in my foot is worse than before. I honestly felt like the doctor convinced me that there was no other option than surgery. I'm glad that you found a doctor that took the time to give you more choices. I'm hoping for better feet days for you soon!

Had surgery five years ago on my right foot. Best thing I ever did. No pain at all and never had a problem since. Neuromas are so painful.

I have triennial neuralgia aka the suicide disease. The surgery to correct it is kinda scary. I've heard that when you wake up from surgery you have a killer headache. Some say it doesn't work. The only medicine that actually helped depleted my sodium level to the point I passed out and couldn't come to very well and where they want it to be 136 or higher mine was 120 so they took me off the med and I have break thru pain. So I can relate to Joel being worried.

Oh my gosh I am just now watching this vlog about Joels Neuroma! I just had surgery last June for the Neuroma. They called mine a Mortons Neuroma. Yes!!!! Freeze it! Don't do the invasive surgery. I'm in 10 times more pain now that they severed the nerves in my toes! Ugh So much pain!! AND on top of that, I ended up getting a hammer toe because of the surgery. So they did surgery on the toe to fix the hammer toe lol! No bueno! Foot is in so much pain still! It's been 9 months and have gotten any better with pain. I would definitely try the less invasive one! Good luck Joel!! Love your videos guys!!!!
