The question I have is since private keys are kept in our system, then it is possible for the operating system to read those private keys by using keylogger to attain our passphrase. Correct me if I am wrong. If it is the case how can we avoid this in widely used operating systems such as Windows and MacOS? Also how good Ubuntu is for day-to-day operation of a normal person in privacy index? Or Please suggest some links to explore this aspect of Ubuntu.
Hey InfoSec Bytes, I was wondering why havent you covered Digital Signatures and the Web of Trust in PGP? Dont you think those are important for Journalists?

Thanks - we'll look into that.

Please consider PGP tutorials for Windows (Outlook, Thunderbird, web-based mail). Thanks!

Encryption on Windows is pointless because Microsoft will know every key and password. Change Operating system to some Linux distribution.

Encryption isn't needed as things are already encrypted. The only purpose of encryption is to protect the financial system.
