If the ref counted 3 in the World title match, Seth wouldn’t be pissed at CM Punk, the promo between Priest & Rollins in RAW wouldn’t happen, Priests eventually babyface turn would possibly be halted. A LOT was counting on Priest kicking out, and I think it’s safe to say this is a very rare time where the ref was correct in not counting the 3, even though they are supposed to.

In turn, he said that it his mission statement that Drew will never hold a title as long as he breathes. Seth just got caught in the crossfire at King of the Ring.
This angle has finally made me Punk fan. I never cared for him for the previous entirety of his career, but this has cemented him in my mind as one of the best. It's making me go back and watch his work with different eyes now. I love both him and Drew for this feud. Pure money.
Go back and watch the buildup between him and John Cena in 2011 leading to MITB that year now that you're watching with matured eyes. Then watch the match. fn classic man.

I shoot snorted when I saw it. Also, his program with Corino in ROH & the Raven feud are both really good Punker eras
I Deeply appreciate you guys and your opinions on these situations, I myself have been on Team Drew until he elbowed the boss and threatened Punk's family. Drew took it too far and needed a proverbial ice bath until he can preform business until he can hold himself professionally, as for the Damion VS Seth match, it seemed very clear to me that sometime during the match, the pace slowed to a crawl (kayfabe or not) something was clearly wrong after a bump somewhere in there and it slowed down and changed the whole match.
Do you really believe that though?? that Drew can't do business?? You've been worked over. It wasn't a spontaneous reaction by Drew. It was all pre planned even the shoving of referees to elbows to GM to threatening Punk's family. They have blurred the lines so much that you can't tell the difference between what is real and what is kayfabe.
Feel like dave and mark don't watch the weekly programming sometimes lol. Drew started a one-sided beef with punk out of nowhere when he came back to wwe. Everything following has been a reaction to what the other has done
He started shit because of Punk's history in the company. If you watches you'd know a lot of people weren't cool with PUNK coming back in the locker room.
They said Priest didn't kick out. The ref counts to 3 it makes it one on one Drew vs Seth and it's not no DQ. That makes it so Pink can't interfer and get the heat from Seth and Drew.
The truest and purist form of Wrestling storytelling is, as others have commented in here, Drew, who is actually the bad guy in this scenario is coming out as a good guy because he’s being abused by punk and punk coming off as the bad guy actually, he was the one that was originally the victim, and all this absolutely beautiful
Punk vs Drew has been a back and forth of complete brawls. Drew injured Punk and then trolled him for months. Once Punk returned he said he will be petty and cost Drew in every championship match because of the trolling. MITB also continued the beef between Rollins and Punk. Rollins vs Punk will happen at next Mania. I have a feeling John will win the world heavyweight championship and then lose it at Mania 41. John Cena vs Carmelo Hayes for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41 would be epic especially that moment when Cena puts Melo over.
The story started when punk disrespect drew backstage back in 2010 I believe. So drew mentioned it in the ring. And told punk about it. Then it got worse. Then drew got cocky and punk took the shot and drew lost at wm. Then the story got better. This story is awesome.
After Drew cashed in and was ready to go for his finishing move, I wanted AJ Lees music to hit, and she just skips around the ring distracting him just enough for Damian to get the finish on him
If the ref counts to three then everything going forward has to be rewritten and would most likely not be nearly as good as the original plan for Priest. Ref was definitely in a tough spot. Also, the idea that Priest was knocked unconscious makes good sense.
My surprise was we didn't get that Judgement Day swerve, Damien gets kicked out and Drew's cash in plays a part. Also, if I was Punk, let Drew keep that breifcase. If Drew comes back and wins, Punk gets a title shot. But I love how WWE keeps throwing these curveballs when you think you know something will happen.
I love yall but you HAVE to remember that Drew started this, thats the part being neglected is the pre wrestlemania stuff. turning him into a meme, his wrestlemania dreams that are very public, and drew literally said he prayed for it to happen, he kept poking the cm punk bear. that was what set it all off. i absolutely love this feud from all sides, cuz drew isnt lying either and it makes for a fantastic story
A little bit of a side note but I have been thoroughly impressed with Damien priest in the last 2 PLEs. Thought the match with Drew at Clash at the Castle was great and was even better against Seth at MITB. Dude got a fan in me
Randy Orton and Tommaso Ciampa are playing the Road Runner and Wilde E Coyote these days on Johnny Gargano's youtube channel as Randy is the Road Runner Ciampa is Wile E Coyote
To recap, Punk returns at Survivor Series, Rollins and McIntyre are legitimately pi**ed off on camera as shown through social media afterwards. McIntyre mocks Punk leading up to Rumble, Punk gets injured, McIntyre gloats about it. Rollins gets lost in the shuffle because he's dealing with the Bloodline and Cody (however, remember the Punk/Rollins/McIntyre promo leading up to Mania). Everything came full circle from Survivor Series on Saturday night at Moeny in the Bank. We're going to get Punk vs McIntyre, most likely at SummerSlam, and then Rollins vs Punk sometime after that. It may even be a triple threat at SummerSlam!
The thing is, we didn't SEE Drew take Punk out. As an audience we didn't get to see it happen, just the aftermath. It was brutal, yes (even with the strawberry jam) but robbing us of seeing Drew take Punk out makes it seem like Punk never gets away with it.
Dave is totally wrong on this. Drew started the feud by kayfabe injuring punk, then spent weeks mocking him both on RAW and on social media, before Punk ever did anything to him.
Also, like I said, the sheer fact that this thing is going to the point that is going to be so explosive it is affecting all levels of the company wrestlers. Backstage is getting way out of hand and they’re gonna have to come up with a way to resolve it. The best. Thing I have seen since the birth of the bloodline storyline and the best part is that part of it was all circumstance because punk got hurt.
How is Punk the bad guy in this? The last time we saw him, Drew had bloodied him in his hometown, and took his bracelet. Drew bragged about injuring him, and Punk vowed that Drew would never get the title as long as he's breathing. Drew is bringing it all on himself. Drew bragged about it for months leading up to WM40. And even when he won, he threw it in Punk's face, which caused Punk to cost him the title with Damian cashing in on him.
Taking Punk's bracelet was an eye. The crowd is still behind Punk because of what Drew did in Chicago. If Drew didn't do that before MITB, there is a chance people might turn on Punk.
The ref could have stopped at two, acted like he was getting a message from the back, then Drew comes out earlier to save it, and everything else goes as planned. Or he could have just counted 3, then Drew cashes in on Seth, gets screwed, and Seth can drop the title back to Damien once he's cleared concussion protocol. Obviously hindsight, but refs do have a job to do.
I would of rather seen Jey Uso win the briefcase, from the way he's loved by being so involved with the fans ! I believe this leads to a triple threat no DQ match between Rollins, Punk & McIntyre at Summer Slam, because Punk blew Rollins chances at winning the title, along with Corey Graves having to hold him back with how pissed off he is!
I don't think it was just the fact that Priest got knocked loopy, I think it was also the production team slightly botching Drew's entrance to cash in MITB.
Under Vince's watch, the ref would've been fired. I believe HHH needs to lay into that man and remind him that referees are NOT a part of the show; they are to be call things down the middle, no matter what. It's a WWE rule
@@OgKamoGaming i dont watch "the other program" youre talkin to the wrong man sir and being a mark is never cool no matter how much yall try to spin it
They are doing a beautiful job of using punk as the guy who really doesn’t care about anything else except if you are going to mess with him, he will come after you for the rest of your life, which is what a lot of people think of him in general
Also, what if the botch was a forced cue for them to improvise and they had Drew cash in early in an attempt to "save" the match. If Priest got knocked out, HHH can pick up on these things, so maybe he made the call to send Drew out early when he seen Priest got knocked out.
I don't fully agree with Bully. I believe that the count was only supposed to go 2 & then Drew's music would hit causing Seth & the Ref to react in the ring, thus stopping the 3 count. That would have also given Priest the time he needed to collect his thoughts if he did get rocked as Bully stated. But I truly believe that the spot in the match at that particular moment was, 2-count, Drew's music hits, cash in, 3-way match for the title. Because if had that not happened, Seth yes would be champion right now & where does that leave other parts of the storyline for those 4 men? Damien would have been forced to leave Judgement Day & I don't believe that they have plans for him to leave Judgement Day just yet.
Drew gloated about crushing Punk's Wrestlemania dream by injuring him then attacked him while his arm was in a sling. Everything Punk has done to Drew since then and will continue to do is fully justified. I don't get how some people think Punk's the heel. At least the crowd on Raw aren't a bunch of marks.
Pretty sure Punk had a say in the MITB angle, because just look at the past 3 years, everyone talks about Punk whether it's bad or good. Punk really keeps people talking and certainly knows how to rile up a section of the fans especially the IWC.
What a minute, are we forgetting that ever since punk came back Drew has not stopped having punk’s name out of his mouth. Drew injured him at the rumble and took him out of mania basically then said I prayed for this and it happened. Then celebrated about and has not stopped talking about punk. So to me it’s justified all the things that punk is doing, he promised that as long as he’s in the company, mcintrye is not going to be champion.
Yeah, I agree. That was very stupid of Drew to cash in for a triple threat, and he's probably the only person I know of who cashes in on an existing champion the very same night he won the MITB case. The only time I know of when something similar to that occurred was on NXT last year -- when Lola Vice cashed in her breakout contract for a triple threat championship match with Roxanne Perez and Lyra Valkyria. I'm not a huge fan of that concept, by the way, because one's chances of winning a triple threat match that one cashed in on setting up are slim to none. That said, it would have been far better if Drew did the following: a) Like his predecessors, wait another night for a cash in because the last thing you need is everyone thinking you're gonna cash in the same night you got the case, and you end up following through on their expectations. It just spoils the suspense. There's no fun in that, really. Major screw up on Drew's part. b) Like his predecessors, he should have done the most sensible. On any night, WAIT UNTIL THE CHAMPION OF THE MATCH IS DOWN! Priest exemplified this at Wrestlemania, along with a few others from past events. A champion who just won a match and has no energy to fight further signals a perfect opportunity for Drew to dethrone him, and quickly. No grandstanding -- just do it.
I get sleep paralysis sometimes, and I wiggle my fingers to wake my body up when it happens, just like Priest did. It's like you're waking your nerves up, you can move a finger, then your hand, then your arm, and then you can move properly. I'm guessing he got a stinger.
I’m sorry but am I the only one that thinks that it was a production error? That Drew’s music was supposed to hit during the count, hence the ref stoping his count and Damien not kicking out, expecting cameras and everybody’s attention to pan to the entrance.
Drew was all in Punk’s face when he won before and Punk told him straight up.. why are you in my face while sexy crawling lol Drew wanted the smoke and Punk will finish it.

LMFAAAOOOOOO ALL U GUYS DISCUSSING IT MAKES IT EVEN MORE FUNNIER this feud is the most hilarious Petty feud since 50 Cent vs Game and Rick Ross
They forgot about the bracelet. That is what's fueling Punk presently.
Feel like dave and mark don't watch the weekly programming sometimes lol. Drew started a one-sided beef with punk out of nowhere when he came back to wwe. Everything following has been a reaction to what the other has done
Thank You. I have been saying that cause Dave and Mark aren’t making any sense at all
they never make sense they didnt make sense during the Cody/The Rock storyline either and yall cosigned it😂
Yea im sitting here trying to figure out if im watching the same show as these guys. Drew has literally been obsessing over that man since the Rumble
@@yungflav193 they being complete marks right now no cap
He started shit because of Punk's history in the company. If you watches you'd know a lot of people weren't cool with PUNK coming back in the locker room.
They said Priest didn't kick out. The ref counts to 3 it makes it one on one Drew vs Seth and it's not no DQ. That makes it so Pink can't interfer and get the heat from Seth and Drew.
😂😂😂dave is missing his bathrobe again 18:10
The truest and purist form of Wrestling storytelling is, as others have commented in here, Drew, who is actually the bad guy in this scenario is coming out as a good guy because he’s being abused by punk and punk coming off as the bad guy actually, he was the one that was originally the victim, and all this absolutely beautiful
thats false
Whoever got mark henry on this pod needs a raise
Punk vs Drew has been a back and forth of complete brawls. Drew injured Punk and then trolled him for months. Once Punk returned he said he will be petty and cost Drew in every championship match because of the trolling.
MITB also continued the beef between Rollins and Punk. Rollins vs Punk will happen at next Mania.
I have a feeling John will win the world heavyweight championship and then lose it at Mania 41. John Cena vs Carmelo Hayes for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41 would be epic especially that moment when Cena puts Melo over.
Drew did hurt punk first and he prayed for that so he started it and now punk is only going back to do what he needs to do. I think it’s great.
@@valeriemurphy5308 it is dave is just being a freakin weirdo
He also assaulted him and chucked him off his shoulders in Chicago
The story started when punk disrespect drew backstage back in 2010 I believe. So drew mentioned it in the ring. And told punk about it. Then it got worse. Then drew got cocky and punk took the shot and drew lost at wm. Then the story got better. This story is awesome.
Team Drew is where I'm at too, Dave ... without a shadow of a doubt
Triple H can fix the refferee situation with priest by simply working an angle in there that Finn paid the referee
the coyote was trying to eat the roadrunner so again i think he is getting what he deserves lol
I love Dave’s passion 🤣🤣🤣
You guys are gonna blow out my speakers one of these days. Please stop redlining the audio! 😭
"He's not even thinking about you!"
*Takes couple photos with his bracelet
Sure Mark.
You're forgetting that wouldn't happen if you didn't hear CM PUNK! CM PUNK! every time he touches the ring or a mic.
Drew McIntyre is playing Checkers while CM Punk is playing Chess✌🏼❤️
the raw and the crowd cheering for punk certainly made Dave and Mark wrong :D
People will never boo Punk over Drew or Seth.
NEVER
To recap, Punk returns at Survivor Series, Rollins and McIntyre are legitimately pi**ed off on camera as shown through social media afterwards.
When was they talking about John Cena?
Dave is losing his s41+. LMAO. Bully and Mark are on point. Dave is in his feelings in fan mode.
Dave is totally wrong on this. Drew started the feud by kayfabe injuring punk, then spent weeks mocking him both on RAW and on social media, before Punk ever did anything to him.
1000 percent
@@elboogie2324 cuz dave and mark have short term memory loss
Dave: " Cm Punk is an asshole!"
Yup! And Punk knows it and his fans know it but that's why we love him.
I can't wait for Punk to actually turn heel
And even to add to that man we waited damn near ten years for Cm punk to be back in the wwe ain't no way in hell we booing him rn
nope not happening
20:13 the clip from tiktok
Taking Punk's bracelet was an eye. The crowd is still behind Punk because of what Drew did in Chicago. If Drew didn't do that before MITB, there is a chance people might turn on Punk.
The ref could have stopped at two, acted like he was getting a message from the back, then Drew comes out earlier to save it, and everything else goes as planned. Or he could have just counted 3, then Drew cashes in on Seth, gets screwed, and Seth can drop the title back to Damien once he's cleared concussion protocol. Obviously hindsight, but refs do have a job to do.
Rollins should've faked kicked just like we all do with our pillows 😂
I would of rather seen Jey Uso win the briefcase, from the way he's loved by being so involved with the fans ! I believe this leads to a triple threat no DQ match between Rollins, Punk & McIntyre at Summer Slam, because Punk blew Rollins chances at winning the title, along with Corey Graves having to hold him back with how pissed off he is!
I don't think it was just the fact that Priest got knocked loopy, I think it was also the production team slightly botching Drew's entrance to cash in MITB.
Where do they talk about John Cena retirement?
Under Vince's watch, the ref would've been fired. I believe HHH needs to lay into that man and remind him that referees are NOT a part of the show; they are to be call things down the middle, no matter what. It's a WWE rule
That's good story telling when my dude was adamant about Drew fck'ing CM Punk up. 😂
@@OgKamoGaming hes a mark 😂🤦🏾♂️
@@antoineLebrane so. If the other program was any good, they'd have more marks to hype their content.
@@OgKamoGaming i dont watch "the other program" youre talkin to the wrong man sir and being a mark is never cool no matter how much yall try to spin it
It's great how fun wrestling is now
They are doing a beautiful job of using punk as the guy who really doesn’t care about anything else except if you are going to mess with him, he will come after you for the rest of your life, which is what a lot of people think of him in general
I'm more happy about Punk botching his promo the next night on RAW. That was hysterical.
this angle reminds me of Austin-Hart. Austin started the feud with Hart but by the end Bret was getting booed.
What I've learned from the last two videos that I've watched is that David is sympathetic to Losers .😅😂
Rhea showing up tonight, Monday night raw should be another great one, looking forward to it.
Also, what if the botch was a forced cue for them to improvise and they had Drew cash in early in an attempt to "save" the match. If Priest got knocked out, HHH can pick up on these things, so maybe he made the call to send Drew out early when he seen Priest got knocked out.
if you wanna suspend disbelief count to 3. make it real. he didn’t kick out we should have a new champion
It's not that deep, the music just didn't hit at the right moment. Why do you guys act like it's not scripted?
It's the nature of the wrestling fans fickle as always.
Pretty sure Punk had a say in the MITB angle, because just look at the past 3 years, everyone talks about Punk whether it's bad or good. Punk really keeps people talking and certainly knows how to rile up a section of the fans especially the IWC.
I think Wade Barrett is right this started before CM Punk came back.
That said, it would have been far better if Drew did the following:
a) Like his predecessors, wait another night for a cash in because the last thing you need is everyone thinking you're gonna cash in the same night you got the case, and you end up following through on their expectations.
If i'm not mistaken, Kane became world champion by cashing in the contract on the same night he won it.
@@decepticonxhunter4850 Oh, okay.
Drew literally said WHEN PUNK GOT HURT “I prayed for this and it happened “ 😂😂😂 like Dave is so wrong on a lot of levels
he always wrong😂😂
Drew was all in Punk’s face when he won before and Punk told him straight up.. why are you in my face while sexy crawling lol Drew wanted the smoke and Punk will finish it.
