As a former mom, and cop, I must talk to you . If you could have seen the damage to my body, after a wreck, in my cruiser, you would wear that seat belt properly. My shoulder belt had been cut out of my car, by the Lt. who had the car before me. I was blinded, by a person driving their car, with their brights on. My cruiser went across the winding road, into a tree, at 35 mph.
I had a head injury, and lost my memory. I never regained my short term memory. I had a photographic memory. That was gone.
My face was crushed. My nose was cut off. My teeth were loosened, and I had to wear orthodontics. My lips were split. My collar bone was broken. My knee was broken. Broken glass is STILL in my face, and emerges sometimes. I almost lost my left eye. I am almost 70 years old. My knee gave me trouble for 15 years, before I went on Medicare, and could afford the operation. The pain made me cry. But, the operation left the good leg shorter, than the new "kneed" leg. Now I have severe hip, and back pain.
Is this what you want for your lives? PLEASE wear your seatbelts properly! I love you, and do not want you, or anyone else, to go through the pain, that I have had, and still have.

Thanks for sharing. Panama has a highway fatality rate in the multiples of the US. The seat belt fine is $75, but u must attend a safety presentation in David, PITA trip. I know 2 people personally that have died on the David to Boquete highway, which some call "the highway of death". The transitos are real agressive here too! BTW I have ALWAYS fastened my seatbelt here.

Thank you for sharing your story. Heart wrenching to read. Glad you survived. I know it’s been a long road for you. Please watch the free documentary on you tube called “Super juice me” and also the free documentary called “Sick, fat & nearly dead” on their site (free) “Sick, fat & nearly dead. com they will give you some insight in how food helps to heal the body. Do a search on you tube for “Jason Vale juicing” and “Jay Kordich juicing” (your library may have their books). Look up Dr Joel Fuhrman’s books Eat to Live and also Super Immunity. Good clean food really does help the body heal. Best to use veggies only as fruit as a lot of sugar in them. Dr Fuhrman let me eat green apples less sugar in them.
Let food be thy medicine ~ Father Of medicine Hippocrates.
You can buy a cheap juicer at Walmart $30 that will get the job done. I bought their Hamilton Standard juicer for $30 and it works find, it’s a little loud, but my guess is they are all loud. There are many videos you tube of how to prep the veggies ahead clean, cut, store in tupperware for use. I just one for that day & then also make an extra for the next morning. Makes life a little easier. You will notice a huge difference within 10 days or so. These things really changed my life after being bit by a tick and contracting lyme & other virus/bacteria from the tick. I went to Dr Joel Fuhrman & he got my life back after years of never fully recovering from the health issue from the tick bit. Juicing really does make a huge difference along with a good clean diet. You can most likely find all of the books above at your library in hard copy or on Electonic books at your library (at least my library had Dr Furhmans). there are many you tube channels dedicated to Vegan diet healing. So look them up. Wishing you all the best. Thank you for posting your post. I think the same every time they get into their truck and dont buckle up. So I’m glad you gave them a real inside into what happens when you dont buckle up. Your words are powerful in your post!! Wishing you all the best. Take care.

Here's a little tip regarding your green house. You need to enclose the whole green house the huge opening is allowing the wind to exponentially dry everything out. It will also collect moisture on the inside if it was entirely enclosed and you would have a much better result. You probably wouldn't of lost all your little plants if it was enclosed and you watered everything really good before you went to El Salvador.

Lola is the dog i would choose! What you are looking for is called mortar, it's a type of cement. you usually put cement(or mortar) between the blocks, not on top, unless you are stacking a wall. I would google everything folks. Lime is the extra additive that turns cement into mortar.
= The difference between cement and mortar is that cement is the binding agent, whereas mortar is a product composed of cement, sand and lime. Both these substances have distinct purposes, such as cement is activated with water and forms a bond with other elements to form one solid object, whereas mortar is useful for holding bricks or stone together, and cannot stand alone like concrete. Cement is a substance that is used to make mortar grout and concrete etc.
There are different kinds of uses for each mortar, grout or concrete mixed with cement, such as grout can fill gaps between tiles, but if the joints in the blocks have missing pieces, you need mortar. Cement has many types itself, such as Portland, white or Masonry cement. Portland cement is used for structural applications to form an object. Mortar, as it may contain either Portland cement with lime, or masonry cement, lime and sand, assembles masonry units into structural systems. The mix ratio of cement and the other ingredients determines the compressive and bond strength, including the absorption potential.
Mortar contains bonding enhancers used for filling the spaces between stone, brick or concrete blocks during building. It is also used for repairing and renovating purposes. Mortar is applied as a thick paste, and it sets hard after a short time to create a tight seal between stones or bricks to prevent air and moisture from entering the structure. Mortar has the ability to bond with joint reinforcements, etc, in the bricks. It helps to make an aesthetically pleasing and structurally sound building. The first man-made mortar construction was of mud and clay, apart from the ancient Egyptians who used limestone bricks. Mortar is commonly in use nowadays, and available in different types; such as Portland mortar, which is made by Portland cement, sand and water. Another type is called lime mortar, which allows moisture to move freely, and evaporate from the surface. Mortar has a long life without having the need for constant repairs. Cement with lime and sand is called mortar; cement with sand is cement.
    Summary:
    1. Cement is a binding agent to form mortar, concrete and grout.
    2. Mortar is made by adding water, sand and lime to cement.
    3. Mortar is used commonly for filing in gaps between bricks and stones to prevent moisture from leaking in.
    4. Cement has many types, such as Portland, masonry cement etc.
    5. Mortar has many types and colors, such as terracotta or white etc.

    Greetings from Canada.
Thanks so very much for all the adventures. I'v been subbed since Don't stop Belizen series. I always look forward to your videos. I'm so thankful that you shared your time in Mexico as I could relive my travels there through your eyes.
I'm also thankful for who you are as people. You both have given so much to so many with your positive outlook, your love of life, your love for each other, the fearless way you embrace every day and always find a reason to smile. Then again, how could you not? You have rainbows, you have Lola, you have each other and you have your RUclips family. All this and you still remain humble and grateful (the secrete to happiness?). Please know that you have touched the hearts of many and left us better people through setting a great example. The world could learn a lot from you right now
I wish I could be with you to help on your land. I have gardened for 40 years and could offer a few tips.
Here's one - just like with your construction, it all starts with the right foundation - the soil. Keep it rich in nutrients and it will thrive. I suggest starting a compost pile.
For some really great info check out MIGardener. Luke is a seasoned (see what I did there?) gardener and has many videos that are informative, educational and fun. Binge some of the early videos about starting a garden and proper soil amendment, irrigation, compost tea and how to use eggshells to improve the soil and protect the plants. I hope you find him to be an amazing resource.
In closing I wish you both the very best the world has to give. You've earned it and deserve it.
    Stay well. Stay safe.
With sincere appreciation and much affection.
    RJ

Dunno about where you are, but in Colombia where I used to live, there was no wood for sale for a very good reason - it attracts termites. When I say 'attracts' that doesn't really describe the situation: It is impossible to avoid termites. Their poop (or whatever it is) falls on your bed. Given a bit of time, all you have is wood styrofoam: Looks like real wood on the outside but is mostly air inside. It's not accidental that clay and concrete are the construction materials of choice in tropical locations. Guadua (a variety of bamboo) is the closest thing you see to wood. And it is used mostly for temporary scaffolding.

First of all I need to brag on you two. We received our first order of coffee and what a treat!!! My husband raved about how smooth it was and the taste was exceptional. I will be ordering more. Do you make your own jewelry? I have to say it is so encouraging to see how you both do so much. I will be praying and God richly bless you on your endeavors!!! ❤️

Long term, those water tanks will last much longer buried, at least up to the last foot or so.....firstly, the sun's uv rays will eventually weaken the plastic of the tank till it ruptures. secondly...the tank is black....the sun beating on it all day will make it great for hot showers but unless you want warm drinking water...muy mal. I noticed you were mounting it near a row of trees and I know you have some mighty winds there....if it's within reach of branches and trunks of those trees....and one should decide to come down....frustration shall abound.

I love watching your channel and love seeing the progress on your homestead! I think you have excellent storytelling and editing in your videos. I find the music you choose to use can be a little on the sombre side. Gives an unwanted melancholy mood at times. You guys are so positive, chill and uplifting, I feel the music you use should reflect that. Worth a thought. Love you guys. All the Best!

it be nice to see more videos ,that would be good. Also, being from the northern USA and living in Panama with a land and a house in Potrerillos Abajo, I found using Cariolas (aluminum) instead of wood to be a better option last longer. Down side is you have to solder them together. they have 2x4 2x6 etc.
