I like that Indian special forces look fit and athletic. When I watch American special forces they look like your standard burgerboy with maybe some more muscles. Often acquired with the help of steroids. Indian soldiers look like soldiers.
The only oddity is an IPS at helm.98% of IPS cadre has no clue about counter insurgency operations or operational knowledge to plan anti hijacking operations but just so the political leadership can maintain their hold we have stooges like ganapathy etc heading NSG.

Comparable units in Western as well as eastern countries are led by Military officers abroad save for GIGN where the recruitment force is made up of military police.
