Thank you so much. Yes they are very delicious. I just finished roasting and smoking some and we had them on Mac and Cheese also cooked in a Cast Pan on the Grill. Soooo yummy. Thanks for watching👊🍄
Great video my friend! Those chanties taste soooo good in the summertime ... and that apricot smell! Feels like we're cheating the system finding them this time of year, doesn't it?!? I believe that the yellowish/orange mystery mushroom at 08:47 may be Pycnoporellus fulgens - I'd be curious to see if you think that matches your observations. You can check out a little blurb from my "Summer Foraging" vid a few weeks back and scroll to 30:47 to cross reference. Keep up the great work brother! 🍄👍
GM Brother , Thank you so much. Yes I do agree on all that you commented. Yes, I had narrowed it down to Pycnoporellus sp. but had not identified the specific fungi. Yes, I agree with you and thank you so much for the reference to your video. Playing catch up with content from others. I appreciate you and your videos as well as always. I'm always grateful for friends like you and a few others on this platform who share and show the amazing world that we love , being Fungi. There can never be enough of us together to cover this beautiful Kingdom. Thanks again my friend, appreciate you👊🍄💚
Hey Brother, yeah we just got back and took a bit to get it up and published. It was a really nice surprise to find them in July. It was beautiful and like we talked about, moisture from the Coast played a part👍 Thanks for the great advice and info. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Will be looking forward to foraging there again. It's a beautiful place for sure. Call you tomorrow. Have a great night my fren.👊🍄
Yes, sounds good. We got a few days of rain here inland at the house when we got back from the Coast. Wish I was still there, I'm sure they will be still coming up.Good luck with your foraging. 👊🍄

It's great you finally put the video up. 👍 I loved the video. It took me back to when I used to live and pick along the coast there in Forks.

The rain this week might make things pop off further inland too. I'll be keeping my eyes open while looking for huckleberries.
