This has helped me so much. Starting the scale with different fingers causes me to play so differently in each way. Starting with the index finger I find myself bending up to the note just a half a step away. With the middle finger I am sliding into the next note, and starting with the pinky I find it so easy to hammer on the adjacent note. I am moving between the shapes without visualizing the shapes. If I visualize anything now it’s the interval which is what it’s all about.
Thanks for the minor mode lessons - the Spanish flavour sounds / E shape triad movements - how we can practice those wonderful soloing techniques with it.
Most if not all guitarist unfortunately learn with the root starting on the low e String. Starting with the roots on the A string is a whole new curve when you are use to starting on the low e for the last 30 years . I wished I would have started with A string roots. It opens up so much more .
@@Swanlord05 because you can simply continue below the root note in that position to the low e string diff notes . And you are not at the root yet on the high e . It’s less mechanical sounding. Actually any other position than the root on low e, is more musical. That’s why the pros are more difficult to follow visually.
Actually the whole guitar in standard E is in a minor key.....all blues and Rock is in a minor scale......trust me I ran a vocal harmony unit in unison with Rock music.....it was all sad keys

thank you for this demonstration of the modes of one key. it's easier to learn them this way :)
Glad it’s helpful! Thanks for taking the time to comment!!
This is fantastic.... I was always intimidated by the 'modes'. Thank you Charlie 🙂
Great to hear - thanks for commenting!!!
If you tuned a orchastra to the standard guitar in E
The whole thing would be minor
Just a heads up. The title.should be It's so sad, the contraction not the posessive form should be used.
