- In this video I am taking a look at the new ARES HEB-001, their entry into the HPA market.
This gearbox is designed to be a drop-in upgrade for the ARES replicas, with a few drowbacks, but a major advantage, the price.
Buy it here:

www.octagonair...
Can confirm this will fit a gng body with no mods just safe is a little off but still works
@@CallsignCookie same thing with an SSR4, needs a little effort to make it work. But not drop in.
You got the better trigger mine is different
Were can i buy it in EU?
What is your conclusion? Is it good at its price point or shoud you pay 300.- or what ever to get a wolverine or so...?
@@MrFlorianbachmann For an Ares gun, it's a good buy if you want to go hpa. The alternative is from polarstar, for much more $$$. For other guns, given the performance and need to modify parts to make it work, i wouldn't bother.
@DeXteR.AIRSOFT thx for the answer. I think for this Money i give it a try
Hi i just got the same unit from PH however the air aint pushin forward but rather from the back where the spring guide is, and the nozzle is not moving, is therr anything i should adjust for it to work?
0:40 ~ I only know XT30 plug most use at China AEG GelBlaster。I also suprise some china “ laser printer ” right now by using XT30 power up the motor & some are XT60 plug ,🎉Similer like toys gun different is it using battery .
Will it fit in Ares Amoeba 0014 Gen.2 ?
i wonder if you can use it in a different gear box
@@austencooper8324 the engine itself? Yes. The ETU no, so it will need another ETU/FCU. That will push the price up, for an unremarcable engine.
Only works on ares replicas?
Impossible de monter le mamba correctement !!!
It's basically the 3d printed version made of aluminum
I'd rather print it instead of buying this shit build
If im to really get another engine, it'd either be polarstar or the latest mechanical engines
@@jasonlai980142 3D printed version? What are you refering to?
@ there’re a couple of 3d printable engines on cults3d.
Basically a simple engine system with an external solenoid, exactly like this ares setup. Just that ares made the solenoid slightly smaller so that it could fit into a gearbox.
The external solenoid alone would not cost more than 10USD.
There’s also guide about how to make a functional FCU with cheap parts.
The total cost of a 3D printed HPA engine with the DIY FCU should not exceed the cost of 50USD.
This is just an aluminium version of that idea packed into one single box.
@@jasonlai980142 No it's not. The 3D printed ones you can find uses the solenoid to directly fire the shot, the 3D printed parts does not need to store pressure. The solenoids used on these 3D printed designs has max of 10hz (10 RPS) and the design is decade old. The design Ares used is very similar to Gate Pulsar just with a cheaper solenoid.
