    After 3 days of hardship (and who knows how many tries to learn this before), I've finally been able to do it. Worth mentioning, that on my PC optimal time to go for qcf3 is a bit different, it's around 60-70f. And that you need to be hella precise with qcf or instant transition from d to f. Hard work and determination gets shit done, but getting good advices is invaluable. Thank you, Richie

    Hey Richie, thanks to this tutorial I was able to land this 4 times in a row. I think I’m getting the hang of the timing. Never once during Tag 2 or T7 I could even dream of landing this.
    My timing when holding down is around 30-35.
    Thanks for sharing the love.

    The buffer system in Smash Bros kinda prepped me for this. It feels pretty natural.

    The frame counting is a bit off if you push 1 multiple times, because it's already recording the D before the 1.
    It's cool that they added the frame counting but it's not as precise as SF6, where you know precisely when you are inactive.
    This tech is very hard, is it possible to do it as a regular ws rather than a qcf?
    simply getting to the crouch animation and going back to neutral should work if the enemy is close enough

      You don’t have the leniency to perform this unfortunately and that’s why it’s such a difficult manuevre to pull off

    Tech for anyone on leverless to get clean d, f inputs. Use your middle finger and slide from down to forward. Otherwise it can be very difficult to not get qcf instead of d,f if using more than one finger

    @AyoRichie Awesome guide! Would you consider making a guide on how to do F+4 cdc's within combos? I understand what's involved in performing F+4 cdc and I can do multiple ones on the ground. However, while juggling I mess the timing up waiting for the cd to start for me to cancel it.

    Tekken 7 had that red blue highlight thing, but the numbers are definitely helpful. Thanks for all the guides. Hopefully I'll not suck with Leo in 8 like I did in 7.

      You still have the red blue stuff in Tekken 8, it’s the simple frame display option, can help for learning this

  • @Mystic_Eddie
    @Mystic_Eddie 7 месяцев назад +1

    This is how I did it in tekken 7. I'm not sure who discovered it originally.
    There's a similar input. If you hold df, n f+2 it will buffer a ff input.
    Also if you want to be cheap you can use true neutral socd on hitbox. D, duf+3 will give you a perfect iws

    Cool tech, I don’t find myself using uf 2-1 at all compared to b 2 1+2 or db 2 4 cause I’m addicted to heat engager punishes, but people are starting to duck the 4 on reaction now so I better start finding new approaches too lol

    I was able to get it pretty quick. 5 mins after watching this video. At first I was getting forward 3 but after playing with it I was able to get qcf knee consistently enough for me. I was trying to forward 4 after up22 but it wasn't fast enough. Nothing was until I found this. Not even my fav Leo player Madara uses this really great tech. Good find @ayorichie

      bro, b1 is 18 frames startup, you only have 16 frames to pick up qcf3 is exactly 16 frames (3f from the qcf + 13f for the actual knee)
      The reason you can pick up with b1, is because you have not true plus frames, not true because the opponent can just roll or quick stand

    • @CosmicVoid420
      @CosmicVoid420 7 месяцев назад

      qcf3 is 15f at the fastest input. You press the 3 on the same frame as the f. So 1 frame for d, 1 frame for d/f, then 13f for f+3.@@jorgeed.1117

      you really don't need those hard techs to be effective with your character. I main Leo, and i never even knew about this tech, but i made it to fujin anyway. Its not about how many hard techs you learn, its about how you use your character. Your character's full potential is realized when you begin to reach your own. These types of techniques like TJU and this pickup are things I call "Limit Breaks"

      @@tgoglobal2394I understand that. Been trying to do EWGFS consistently. I’m talking anytime I do it I want it to be an electric, but even when I feel like I am doing it properly it turns out i’m not. But like someone else said you don’t need to do these things. Not even pro’s do some of these super hard techniques mainly due to consistency. It’s hard to do something hard consistently, even if you’ve perfected it. Much safer to just do a similar and easier option then to fail and get punished yk?

    So I'm probably one of the unfortunate players that couldn't learn this no matter what I do and how much time I invest. I could occasionally do it in T7 1/100 but here it just never truly connects. KNK cancels are doable and I'm getting better with them slowly. But this thing is driving me mad. Kbd and iws3 are my weakest points in Tekken.
