I love it how he gives so much love and praise to them as the ¨Gods of Hwoarang¨ even tho he is just as good in my eyes, Love the support that the Hwoarang community has for eachother.
I fell in love with this character when Tekken 3 came out when I was 6 and have been firmly with him to this day. It's just so satisfying to kick the hell out of people.
similar situation with me. I saw Tekken 3 at the arcade for the first time when i was about 8 or 9 years old and Hwoarang was the character that I fell in love with. He was the only character wearing a traditional martial arts uniform and his kicks were so satisfying, and he was button mash friendly so it was easy to do cool sh!t with him without much knowledge or execution lol.
Tekken been on my feed recently, I've been insta clicking hwoarang vids , but stayed for the "overkooled intro" good to know air gear still lives , got a sub , mad respect
EDGE (for long time fans TKMuse) was actually the first Hwo main I started watching on a regular basis. Then it was MadDogJin, Yeonarang, and eventually I ended up here. So it’s cool to watch you analyze these incredible players, who I’ve been a fan of for years :D
Edge definitely practices Taekwondo. Some of his combos are straight up ripped from the forms and applications. It's interesting to see how he applies his knowledge of the style into his matches. I think a basic understanding of Taekwondo is something every Hwoarang main could benefit from as besides Leroy, Hwoarang's Taekwondo is the most faithful to reality
Cool video, I think you can take over the controls and show what youre trying to explain on what you would do on certain situations. I might be wrong tho
learned some stuff for example power crush after df1,3 is best. also sidestep after rff df3 is good too as its normally easy to interrupt a follow up attack
I have never, ever seen a time out draw where both people were actually trying to win, and I doubt I'll ever see it again. 5:14 - 5:18 Yeah, I *HAVE TO* timestamp that.🤣 Interesting that you'll still hear your music selection for stages when watching other people's replays. 7:30 - 7:35 I guess risking their life for no reason really is the struggle of K-Wiss' people. Maybe K-Wiss isn't the very best Hwoarang, but I have a hard time believing there's 10 other Hwoarang mains on the planet who are better. Unrelated, but shout out to Tekken 8 for hitting more than 2 million sales in less than a month.
Im actually learning all the matchups while watching your streams all the the time.. My PC is in another city 4 hours flight from here so i haven't played T8 but im hoping watching you fighting people in Tekken God rank can help me gain knowledge.. I'm a Hwo main since T3 but only reached Red Rank in T7. Rarely played online because of shitty internet back then 😅..
Been wondering this move at 5:49 I think the command is down+O O (the firecracker?) in playstation controller, sorry i'm not familiar enough with the tekken terms yet, i rarely see it used by pro Hwoarang players, but i use it a lot from tekken 5, 6, and TTT2. Is it an unreliable move?
Also they didn't really use backleish. But I think it's understandable, with jfsr you put yourself in danger vs a good hwoa, also backleish is just easy to punish with b3 etc.
They both stream on Twitch but not frequently and obviously with the changes coming to Twitch Korea they will stop soon entirely. I recommend following them and watching their replays probably if they're not making content themselves
@@K-Wiss Thanks so much man!! Tekken 8 has been the first Fighting game I've been interested in, and you're content has been great!! I didn't even think about the korean twitch thing, but I'll definitely look into the replays!! Do you per chance know if they have a youtube channel or something?
@@jasonmohiri9829 Oh well...I appreciate the unsolicited advice? But I'm perfectly capable of assessing and improving my own gameplay. Random video to drop the "constructive" criticism on too
Bruh i been playing hwo and made it to red but what do i do from here I feel like hwo has to do so much to get to 80 damage compared to the rest of the cast

Takes “kicking ass” to a whole new level

Ngl I subscribed and started playing hwoarang because that air gear intro
One of my favorite Tekken 8 vids of yours so far, I really enjoyed you breaking down 2 different hwoarang's gameplay
Expect more to come!

There is basuka93 and tekken jin bts too
Oh, I'd never heard of EDGE yet I remember watching TKMuse last game, thanks for clarifying that!
What people don't know is that *I* am the best Hwo player in my house.
Got tekken 8 at release with no prior experience and instantly found your channel and have been learning hwo ever since and loving it

Im a steve player but i love watching the other side of the coin in hwoarang gameplay. Truly a high level chess match in tekken between these two.
This content is pure gold. I am currently at flame ruler and videos like this really make it easier to improve! Thanks man!
8:56 I just tested and rff f3, uf4 wall splat into rff f3, f3 dash 3 3 2 does more damage and is way easier. What a combo though.. props to edge
Since watching K-Wiss I've learned to respect the Hwoarang players, can't be as easy as I thought

Glad to see tekken 8 kept the "Lighting Punch" lol
9:18 wow~ wow~ wow~ wow~ XD
I watched that combo at the end of 8 min so many times
hey wiss great video, could you make one explaining how to make a dash instance of hwoarang? I have a little difficulty. peace bro

5:21 strings? (How he throws his enemy)
K-swiss you up there as well 🙌🏽
Is there a way to fight a k wiss ghost? Or anyone whos great like a jdcr drag ghost?
still dig the air gear music
What’s the background music
8:55 Yeonarang won the set, EDGE won the combo war
8:56 📝
How do you get good with the JFSR I can do it n his right stance but applying pressure with his left stance is hard lol😂
ye its hard, i also struggle with left foot forward. cant believe how these guys throw them out from sidesteps
Be honest... y'all wanted Yeonarang to finish the last fight with a rage art xD
You can do a running 3 after heat engage! I didn't know that. This really helps Hwo!
Rest and Muse making noise too.
Anyone know where I could watch EDGE and Yeonarang??
