- MIER Lanshan 2 Ultralight Tent - Review
I bought this tent on Amazon for a thru hike of the Lone Star Hiking Trail and in this video I will give you my honest and fair review!
This tent weighs 2.8 pounds. It is available in a pro model which weighs 2.2 pounds but the price goes up. You can also get the 1 person version of this tent if you dont want to sleep next to a stinky hiking partner.
You can find this tent on Amazon with the following link:

Beautiful nature
I loosen the guy lines up all the way on the rain fly, then stake out all four corners of the floor and fly at the same time, then insert the poles, works good for me anyways, nice video thanks for sharing!
Looking for for a tent that would work well in hot environment, this one looking promising. The right color, and and the inner tent is basically a full size mesh!
for the price I am very happy with this tent.
@@BucyTV Thanks for comment. In Your opinion, how does this one work in the sun? Obviously they all get a bit warm, but how does this compare yo other tents You tested?
I've heard that the light color is terrible about attracting bugs so if you have mosquitos I would recommend more earth tones. Usually hot environments means mosquitos. I know, I grew up in South East Texas and live in Austin now.
Did you seam seal?
Yes. I did seam seal it just to be safe
I have this tent. I like it, but getting two people in it is a stretch. It’s a 1.5 person tent
Me and my wife fit just fine but we are not the biggest people. I could see it being hard to fit two larger people inside
Yes they are light tents BUT, I want to see you set that up when its raining and when you have hard ground your cant peg into. Throw in some wind at the same time. ;) I prefer a light weight tent that has tent poles and no need to fuss with stakes. Ive been using a tent like that for over 20 yrs.
I agree tents with poles are nice. Thanks ks for your opinion. Always appreciated
In wind any tent sucks to put up
