You say Nissan toned down the Murano? That's literally the most radical design they have other than the Maxima. You said you liked the interior of the Murano better, it gets better gas mileage, and it has more rear leg room, but yet you choose the ford? Hmm.

+Ponygt 662 ah, we have a ford fanboy here. I don't have to drive them back to back. I choose the Murano. Like I said, it's styled better, has a more premium interior, is more comfortable, and as for the 6 speed auto, it's outdated. Automakers are using 8 speeds or CVT's now. I could sit here and argue with you, but you're clearly stuck on Ford. Enjoy them. What does Ford stand for again? Ah. Found On Road Dead. I've had fords. I can tell you that's a very true statement.

I agree. The Edge outsells the Murano 2-1 for its ride quality and wider unisex appeal. The Murano is largely only driven by women or men who are comfortable in their masculinity.
Ford Edge is available with a wider selection of trim and engine options than the Murano, including the Sport with the 315 HP 2.7L EcoBoost which I guarantee you is far more fun to drive than the Murano.
+Mvk Mvk thats old talk, my family owns 3 newer gens and drive way better than my nissan. no issues. had to replace my AC at 20k on my 2015 nissan though
I leased the a '15 Murano Platinum a few months back. At the time I was deciding between the Ford Edge and the Murano. Now I feel it was one of the best decisions I ever made. It seems the "Auto Guide" narrator forgot to mention the NASA inspired zero gravity seats that are included with the Murano. By far this has been the most comfortable vehicle that I have EVER drove PERIOD! The Murano is often ridiculed because of the over-styled exterior. Personally I don't think it's over-styled...I think it's done just right. The New Murano is a very beautiful and classy vehicle. As far as the design of the Ford Edge, it has basically looked the same since in was introduced back in 06-'07. Also, the Edge is assembled in Canada while the Murano is assembled in Canton Mississippi, U.S.A. I might actually keep this thing at lease end- either that or lease a new Murano when the time comes. We'll see.
The Murano Platinum in Pacific Sunset is like my favorite vehicle right now. The Cashmere interior alone is reason enough to buy it. Most hotels aren't that suave!
From my experience, the Nissan Murano is not built for short people. I stand at 5' tall. Because of the pitch of the seat, it felt like it was cutting off the circulation to my lower legs, and I felt like I was looking through the steering wheel instead of over it. I know I could have raised the seat to accommodate a better view of the road, but then I had to tip tow the gas and brake peddles. My husband is 6'4" and loved the vehicle. I have not driven a Ford Edge, so I don't know if it is any better. Currently I drive a Nissan Armada. The plus on that vehicle is the adjustable peddles making it so that I don't have to sit too close to the steering wheel.
We just purchased a 2016 Black Edge Sport and we love it. We were looking at the Murano but found out that only pulls 1500 lbs; while the Edge pulls 3500 lbs and has similar space as our Explorer that we traded it for. That is what made the deal for us!
Both of these crossover's are pretty good. In all honesty I would take the Murano Platinum over the Edge Titanium. However I ended up buying a 2015 Edge Sport. I avg about 19.3 mpg and it's actually pretty fun to drive.
I've driven them both and the Murano is just a head turner out there and so damn comfortable to be in, This is a serious contender for my family car later this year.
hahahaha he said the murano is a head turner hahahahahahaha omg. Everytime I see one I am like "Who would buy that ugly ass suv" The edge is literally x2 sexier outside.
Have you seen the difference nowadays in the price between regular and premium gasoline?! Saying the Edge does better in gas mileage with the turbo with premium gasoline should then be regulated with the significant price difference, which then totally negates the mileage advantage... Give me the Murano
I have a 2010 Murano SL, two wheel dr. It has to be more comfy than any other car I have owned. 45k now and no probs at all. 22 MPG all around town and almost 30 on the interstate. I'm gonna drive this thing until the wheels fall off.
I bought the Edge because I don't like CVT, too much rpms to get moving down the road. We have a second car a Maximum with a regular auto trans and has been a good car for 18 years. So nothing against Nissan just CVT.
I just turned 18 last month, 2 years ago I bough my first car, a 2009 Nissan Murano. I feel in love with it and I promised myself that one day I would buy a new Nissan Murano but one day me and my family traveled to Mexico and in our way back we flied to San Diego (we live in the north of CA) so we rented a car to drive home (like 9 hours) the car rental company could not find a car with enough space to fit all our baggage (4 big and 4 small) until they found a Ford edge, it incredibly fit perfect. In that moment, I fell in love with it, me and my sister helped my dad to drive and it was amazing, powerful, comfortable and just great in general. Since that I now have a debate about buying a Nissan Murano or a Ford Edge.
Where do you film? Some nice looking shots of both vehicles. I'm considering a Ford Edge. I'd like to support Oakville but it's a steep price tag for me. Your video is helping push me to a yes.
Chasing between these two would be hard. I don't like CVTs but in the Maxima (similar drivetrain) you don't notice the CVT much because of all that torque. Consumer Reports gushed on and on about the magic ride and handling balance of the Edge and other reviews haven't been as enthusiastic about the Murano handling but a lot can depend on trim and tire package differences. Two nice vehicles.
Edge sport gets to 60 mph (100kmh) in 5.3 seconds and for the 2.0 ecoboost about 6.8 seconds but the Murano is like 7.8 something idk but the 2.7 litre engine is a game changer
so, nissan is more fuel efficiency, better leg room, cheaper price, better interior, and more safety, and chose the ford......lmfao.....super make sense
Puff the Magic Dragon Well, my 2010 Nissan Murano is still driving great and I've had zero major repairs done to it. Only things I've done to it is oil change and just got new tires. My 2004 Nissan Frontier is also still driving great and also has had zero major repairs done to it. The most expensive repair I've had done was a leaky head gasket and just had to replace the hoses 2 years ago. I think the head gasket was $250 - $300 while all the hoses was $300. So roughly $600 other than regular oil changes and tires. Oh, my 2004 Frontier just hit 300K while my Murano 52K.
Ive always wonder which car brands have the best reliability about solid build. Something that DRIVE ME NUTS is when a car, after about 80,000 miles, start making noises in the cabin like squeaking, cracking and rattling, making it feel cheap and poorly build...
Comparing these two, I'd definitely have to go with the Nissan Murano, mainly because it's more fun-to-drive, more stylish, lower-priced, and also gets better fuel economy.
+Ponygt 662 Really???? Go drive a Ford edge before thinking anything Japanese is good???? That's some deep seeded hate right there. While I am the first to admit that I am a Nissan fan, I do respect and appreciate other brands. If that's what Steven James DeBlasi likes then that should be his choice. I've owned two Fords, and although I know that they have improved and now make really great cars I will never buy another Ford. Oh and guess what, I drive a 2011 Nissan Altima with the 2.5 liter four cylinder and it's Japanese, and it's good!
Great review, but the Murano's interior appointments, construction, and textures are better than the Edge's. Not to say that the Edge's interior is bad, I just think the Murano's is better.
Jamie Martinello both amazing cars inside out but if I was going to buy between them nissan i would go cuz it even looks more expensive I think the murano is one of nissan top best designed cars
My take away is the Nissan has better interior styling and the drivetrain/engine works better together than the Ford (surprising as its a CTV). On the other hand, the Ford's interior is OK but un-inspiring and its exterior design is more refined. While a good review, I'd be inclined (if I was shopping this segment) to look at Acura, Toyota or GM.
+Tully3674 Drive the Edge b4 makin ur decision, I too was a man who thot Ford is crap, not at all the Edge is actually best premium SUV from a major brand I ve test driven in that price bracket, more so with the Edge SPort ttv6
Tbh my family owns both an Edge Limited (2014) and a Nissan Murano Cross (2011) . With that being said each of these new models are basically mechanically the same thing., ( minus minor upgrades I.e. The updated CVT.. ) with ride quality the edge overall is a MUCH more compliant ride., with the Murano the suspension is much more "jumpy" to say the least on turns if you hit a bump you with feel it throughout the whole body. Performance wise the Muranos CVT offers almost immediate power when passing the 6-speed in the edge takes a few moments to pick the right gear to get you going., which can be annoying at times I might add. With build quality both are nicely put together . But I would have to give he Murano the win with that because the materials are JUST the much better .. Overall I am happy with both our purchases our edge still gets stares it's a limited with the chrome wheels etc. and with the top down the Murano drops jaws all the time lol. But this is my personal opinion .,
actually the 2016 edge is a completely new design compared to the 2014. Its not just a cosmetic update. It rides on an entirely different chassis and platform.
Daniel Blaney The new EDge is based on Ford CD4 platform that spawns the Fusion/Mondeo, An extension of the CD4 platform is Fords ABB platform that spawns the new Lincoln Continental and Chinese Ford Taurus
Wtf, Nissan Murano is obviously the better choice. I like the Ford Edge, don't get me wrong. Murano is just well put together overall for a not so expensive tag.
37K USD can also buy a mid trim 2016 Honda Pilot which has a better, smoother and more powerful V6 and better ride height. The more expensive 2.7L Sport Edge is the only one worth considering if you are willing to shell out that that kind of money, starting at 41K USD.
From a mechanics point of view, I would say that Nissans CVT transmission is the bane of their existence. But if you mean that mechanics love it because they get to make all kinds of money constantly replacing the units, then I suppose you’re right.
@@rogerweller1266 i went through dozen of nissan vehicles for personal use. I dont keep cars more than 3 years tho (not lease) and not one broke breaching 70-100k miles. I guess im lucky or just take care of them cause of my own bodyshop 🤷🏼♂️ but i meant it as all inclusive sentence. Nissans way easier to work on, they offer way more for the price than any other none luxury brand, parts are easy to come across and just overall good cars. But yea cvt would be its only weak point based on everyone complains
I have a 2009 Ford Edge SE fwd that i payed roughly 24K new. Cloth seats, no backup cameras or special console. I don't understand why these vehicles keep going up and up in price. 45k for a 2.0 turbo that sucks premium gas! Your better off buying used.
idk where you live but the 2.0L is not even close to 46K. lol where you live must suck ass. here you can get that for just around 32K. the sport edge fully loaded brand new is 45K and we all know it has the 2.7L ecoboost twin turbo with 315hp and 350 lb ft tq 0-60 in 5.6. the 2.0L don't come with much of shit. the sport even has better traction. anti roll bars stiffer suspension and independent suspension.
long ho Well Nissan's do smoke other brands, after all my Nissan smoked when it blew up. Nissan's are much less reliable than fords, literally every mechanic I've talked to agrees.
I m confused the murano suppose to be quieter per caranddriver instrument test. Murano measured 62.5 decibels on 70mph which is even quieter than a Mercedes S series! The Ford Edge measured 69 decibels on 70 mph. Thats a huge difference! This guy needs his ears checked!!!!
For my money, I'd take the Murano over the Edge any day. For one, Ford has always been known to provide crappy reliability. Now I know Nissans haven't been known to provide very good reliability either but my family has owned and rented Ford vehicles before and we've always had some kind of problem with the engine. Second, I much prefer a V6 over a 4-Cylinder. I don't give a crap how powerful Fords 4-Cylinder Engine is; it just doesn't give you that level of refinement that a V6 does. And in my opinion, the 4-Cylinder Engine definitely sounds much crappier when starting up compared to a V6. And Third, I much prefer the looks of the Murano over the Edge. It just seems sleeker in my opinion but looks are more of a personal thing. The only reason that I would see why not to buy the Murano is because of the CVT. Don't get me wrong, Nissan has come a long way in making their CVT's as refined and smooth as possible, but it really does suck the fun out of driving
+Isaiah Baculpo I agree with most of what you said, but I disagree when it comes to the cvt. I own a 2011 Altima 2.5 s, and the fun and effortlessness comes in for me on the highway, when passing or accelerating it pulls quickly compared to a conventional transmission that has to downshift into a passing gear. And I'm not a slow driver and love to pass people who like to poke around so it's definitely a plus for me.
+Steven Singleton From your experience with your Altima, how do you think it stacks up against other rivals with their CVT Transmissions? I've heard that Nissan makes good CVT Transmissions, but Honda makes even their CVT's even better due to their dedication in making the vehicle seem as if your driving a traditional automatic
Isaiah Baculpo The Edge has 3 engine options, two of which are V6's. One is a 3.5L naturally aspirated and a 2.7L Twin Turbo V6 in the Edge Sport. The 2.7L is amazingly quick for an SUV, much faster than a murano.
You don’t know nothing, first of all the edge is cheaply made, I had one, and it has worst fuel economy and I had transmissions problem with that so shut up
Is it possible to make these videos without saying redundant things like "these are still just crossovers"? No one is comparing a crossover to a car! These are two totally different markets. If some idiot buys an SUV and gets disappointed by the not so sharp handling of a sedan, he will be an exception and well deserving of that disappointment. So please, don't waste our time in every video saying that these are crossovers after all.
Murano all day all night, the classic v6 with the CTV, and high quality interior and quiet cabin, and the cooled seats is insane, the 360 is great, and the comfort of the seats in the front and back is awesome
+Sal D'Agostino Someone could like it because style is objective, the general consensus of the Marano's style though is positive, otherwise it wouldn't be selling as well as it does. Do you remember the Pontiac Aztek? That thing was ridiculously ugly, and it eventually got discontinued due to slow sales, but as ugly as it was some people still liked it.
I've driven both. While the Edge is smooth and powerful, I just prefer the Murano. More stylish. Offers a lot more bang for your buck. I feel a little more safer, and it's so comfortable. I had an Escape before I dove into the Murano. Escape had soooo many recalls. Murano hands down.
Gave Ford a try for first time. Right out of warranty. Driver door ajar sign came on. Battery died at 38 months, which I can let go. Than the body throttle issue, where the car would just stop abruptly when you hit accelerator and now my rear view camera is upside down. I really really love my Ford Edge and would like to get another one but I do not think a car should be having so many problems when its been so far only 46 months and only 38,000 miles. Now I know sometimes you get lucky with cars and someone with the same model might have 0 problems even after 100,000 miles. Thinking about going back to Honda or a Nissan again, especially Murano.
Murano has more hp in the V6 vs the edge's2. 0turbo. Style is subjective but murano is much more striking andnappealing imo. Murano is more powerful and gets better mpg in AWD. Somurano wins the somparison. Refinement? Murwno has thenmorenpremium interior and unbeatable smoothness whilencruising. Again taking thenwin is the Murano--the safer, more fuel efficient, dnd more engaging driving experience. Nothing the edge has can match the tech and conveince os nissan's surround view cam
If the people at Nissan had any sense, they should be hella' concerned that a Ford is even in the same quality ballpark as a Nissan. It's a sign of just how far Nissan's quality has fallen. I have 155,000 (trouble-free) miles and counting on a Nissan CVT transmission however, I don't know that I'd risk another one. Conversely, I think Ford uses some of the worst paint and/or paint processes in the auto industry. I see way too many late-model Fords that have rust on them. Toyota (Lexus) & Honda (Acura) are where it's at.
Would never ever buy another Nissan. Bought a 2009 Murano and had to replace the transmission at 50k miles, which was covered. At 135k now and guess what? Need another transmission. Look up the issues they had with the Murano CVT and how they handled them before you ever consider Nissan. They claim they worked out the issues with the CVT but who knows.
This guy is basically a hater on Nissan products. You can clearly see first Nissan Murano have a better look in styling inside and out and the best of all, it cheaper and quality is better.
You say Nissan toned down the Murano? That's literally the most radical design they have other than the Maxima. You said you liked the interior of the Murano better, it gets better gas mileage, and it has more rear leg room, but yet you choose the ford? Hmm.
gotta support their own economy i guess haha

On the flip side, he could have said "Only a Morono would pick the Edge".
+mmmfloorpie I am laughing way too hard at this now xD
Not necessarily. Murano has the Edge would’ve worked as well.
Ford trash

The plus on that vehicle is the adjustable peddles making it so that I don't have to sit too close to the steering wheel.
+Mary Eckert I just realized that I used the wrong version of toe. Sorry about the grammar.
We just purchased a 2016 Black Edge Sport and we love it. We were looking at the Murano but found out that only pulls 1500 lbs; while the Edge pulls 3500 lbs and has similar space as our Explorer that we traded it for. That is what made the deal for us!
You may think the edge is better because it weighs more, but it’s un safer, my parents use to have one of those and I did some research my self
Both of these crossover's are pretty good. In all honesty I would take the Murano Platinum over the Edge Titanium. However I ended up buying a 2015 Edge Sport. I avg about 19.3 mpg and it's actually pretty fun to drive.
Does it have the real V6 engine or that stupid little ego boost 2.0 lawn mower motor
@@niveklor1456 The Edge sport has a 2.7 Ecoboost V6.
I've driven them both and the Murano is just a head turner out there and so damn comfortable to be in, This is a serious contender for my family car later this year.
Nissan seats are class leading. So comfortable. Thanks NASAZ
***** it's so damn nice, the platinum version takes the interior from Infiniti, so plush and soft.
Did you end up buying the Morono?
hahahaha he said the murano is a head turner hahahahahahaha omg. Everytime I see one I am like "Who would buy that ugly ass suv" The edge is literally x2 sexier outside.
Trevor Blackwell Opinions
My mom got a 2017 Edge Titanium 2.0T EcoBoost just three months ago and it's fun to drive.
Have you seen the difference nowadays in the price between regular and premium gasoline?! Saying the Edge does better in gas mileage with the turbo with premium gasoline should then be regulated with the significant price difference, which then totally negates the mileage advantage... Give me the Murano
Adam Wright you don't have to get the turbo ehhmm it still have a v6
to me the murano turn more heads on the road than all them other vehicles
I drove both along with 4 other SUV's and was in awe with the 2016 Ford Edge !! The Ford is by FAR the Best
+Cyberslug1 The 2016 ford Edge is just *________* I would love to test drive the Sport version one day!
It’s not trust me, my parents had one of those and it was slower and harder to drive because it’s heavy and our battery died out in 20 months
We have a 2016 Ford Edge. I’ll take it over the Murano any day. Quite and just as smooth as a baby’s bottom on the highway.
In my opinion I would go with the Murano
I have a 2010 Murano SL, two wheel dr. It has to be more comfy than any other car I have owned. 45k now and no probs at all. 22 MPG all around town and almost 30 on the interstate. I'm gonna drive this thing until the wheels fall off.
I bought the Edge because I don't like CVT, too much rpms to get moving down the road. We have a second car a Maximum with a regular auto trans and has been a good car for 18 years. So nothing against Nissan just CVT.
the Murano looks badass
Not badass, but cute
I just bought a 2015 Murano. I’m in love
@@Lydia_Ranki how is it

Torque: 350 lb-ft
Engine: 2.7 L V6- twin turbo
Towing capacity: 2,000 lbs
Pedro Moreno...Nice!
The SE is $28,000 MPG is 21 to 29. The EDGE is far better..
Where do you film? Some nice looking shots of both vehicles. I'm considering a Ford Edge. I'd like to support Oakville but it's a steep price tag for me. Your video is helping push me to a yes.
Murano all day any day!!
I have the New Murano. this dude in the video clearly doesn't know what he's talking about. it's a cool machine to drive. it really grows on you
I prefer the edge, it drives and has better comfort. The edge handles on bumps and it is so quiet.
"looser and lighter steering" , and later "numb" but "more engaging". Riiight.
At 1:00 what's with that wire at the rearview mirror? Broken or just cheap manufacturing and it's 'standard' that way?
FLOB32 a
Chasing between these two would be hard.
Thanking for a great review still I would take Murano:)))
Ford edge for the win! Good job and good review
Edge sport gets to 60 mph (100kmh) in 5.3 seconds and for the 2.0 ecoboost about 6.8 seconds but the Murano is like 7.8 something idk but the 2.7 litre engine is a game changer
It's an luxury SUV....not a racecar my friend
God damn the murano does 6.5 - sub 7 seconds god faster than 2.0 and 3.5 edge
so, nissan is more fuel efficiency, better leg room, cheaper price, better interior, and more safety, and chose the ford......lmfao.....super make sense
Rex Meng The fords more reliable, offers better quality and looks better.
Not it doesn’t everyone says cvt’s are bad, well I use to have a edge and I had transmissions problems
For
Say Soun cvt
I have 2018 Ford Edge SEL FWD 2.0L. is it good choice ? Please I want to know if need to change or stay.
I'll take the Forde Edge.
Lol he chose the edge just for that pun at the end
Ive always wonder which car brands have the best reliability about solid build.
Something that DRIVE ME NUTS is when a car, after about 80,000 miles, start making noises in the cabin like squeaking, cracking and rattling, making it feel cheap and poorly build...
James Murray, thank you for the review.
You would think murano's more expensive multi-link suspension would solve porpising that you complained about. Never experienced that problem.
The Murano is out of this world!
Not a fan of the CVT trans
Yeah but with cat you will be saving way more $ on gas
Never met someone who didn't like their Murano
Comparing these two, I'd definitely have to go with the Nissan Murano, mainly because it's more fun-to-drive, more stylish, lower-priced, and also gets better fuel economy.
+Steven James DeBlasi
How much more fun to drive?
U really havent felt how god the Edge is...go drive 1, b4 thinking anything Japanese is good
+Ponygt 662 Really???? Go drive a Ford edge before thinking anything Japanese is good???? That's some deep seeded hate right there. While I am the first to admit that I am a Nissan fan, I do respect and appreciate other brands. If that's what Steven James DeBlasi likes then that should be his choice. I've owned two Fords, and although I know that they have improved and now make really great cars I will never buy another Ford. Oh and guess what, I drive a 2011 Nissan Altima with the 2.5 liter four cylinder and it's Japanese, and it's good!
My wife has the ford and i have the Murano and she gave me the ford and took over on my Murano that means Murano is better 😂
I agree 100%! Just wish the Nissan had about 20 more horsepower, then it would be perfect! Lol
Jamie Martinello 100% with you on this one, this guy is a paid ads by ford or he just a hater on Nissan.
+Tully3674
Drive the Edge b4 makin ur decision, I too was a man who thot Ford is crap, not at all the Edge is actually best premium SUV from a major brand I ve test driven in that price bracket, more so with the Edge SPort ttv6
Daniel Blaney
The new EDge is based on Ford CD4 platform that spawns the Fusion/Mondeo,
An extension of the CD4 platform is Fords ABB platform that spawns the new Lincoln Continental and Chinese Ford Taurus
Tully3674 just curious what suv would u consider good looking?
Any mention of the vastly different seat quality? Murano has special foam in seat bottoms, Fords are notoriously short and uncomfortable.
I agree my grandfather has a 2014 Ford Escape and the seats feel horrible. My grandma has a 2015 Altima and the seats are great!
Wtf, Nissan Murano is obviously the better choice. I like the Ford Edge, don't get me wrong. Murano is just well put together overall for a not so expensive tag.
that murano c pillar blind spot tho
I owned a 2016 murano and it's awesome SUV
37K USD can also buy a mid trim 2016 Honda Pilot which has a better, smoother and more powerful V6 and better ride height. The more expensive 2.7L Sport Edge is the only one worth considering if you are willing to shell out that that kind of money, starting at 41K USD.
Edge over murano
How do the awd systems compare?
Is there a video comparing the edge to the escape?
I definitely would choose murano over edge any day. Coming from mechanic point of view ;)
Ford is way better yall bugging with nissan crap lol
Iketani Koichiro so true
But Ford is trash too
But which one is faster on the pedal?
murano all the way
i have the ford edge and it is 6 cylinder 280hp
I have a 2009 Ford Edge SE fwd that i payed roughly 24K new. Cloth seats, no backup cameras or special console. I don't understand why these vehicles keep going up and up in price. 45k for a 2.0 turbo that sucks premium gas! Your better off buying used.
murano is far better
+Brownie Obviously you've never owned a Nissan product.
+Jerry Gilliland I have a 2016 maxima and it's awsome. so what are you getting at?
Jerry Gilliland Considering its one of the fastest growing brands in North America and 8th most valuable brand, I'm pretty sure they're a good brand.
NS at junk yard...cvt plus 3.5 , weak 3.5 (240 pound feet torque)...= crappy nissan
idk where you live but the 2.0L is not even close to 46K. lol where you live must suck ass. here you can get that for just around 32K. the sport edge fully loaded brand new is 45K and we all know it has the 2.7L ecoboost twin turbo with 315hp and 350 lb ft tq 0-60 in 5.6. the 2.0L don't come with much of shit. the sport even has better traction. anti roll bars stiffer suspension and independent suspension.
My dad would pick the ford edge for his money.
I have ford edge sport 315 Murano is only 292
Stewart Murdock doesn't matter how much HP it got, put it to speed test and I guarantee you the Murano will leave the Ford Edge in the smoke.. lol.
long ho, not quite.
long ho Well Nissan's do smoke other brands, after all my Nissan smoked when it blew up. Nissan's are much less reliable than fords, literally every mechanic I've talked to agrees.
Donovan Mitchell better than Michael Jordan What do you mean?
Donovan Mitchell better than Michael Jordan Hell yeah. I have a 2017 explorer, love it.
+Isaiah Baculpo To be honest I'm not sure. I've never driven another brand with a CVT.
Isaiah Baculpo The Edge has 3 engine options, two of which are V6's. One is a 3.5L naturally aspirated and a 2.7L Twin Turbo V6 in the Edge Sport. The 2.7L is amazingly quick for an SUV, much faster than a murano.
I’ll stay with the Ford Edge!
You should have tested the Edge Sport. So much better to drive than the Titanium.
murano hands down, more refined better motor and trans. the inside and outside look much better
kevhun1 CVT is not better than a regular Auto
You don’t know nothing, first of all the edge is cheaply made, I had one, and it has worst fuel economy and I had transmissions problem with that so shut up
Which of the 2 would you choose?
And the 2.7 litre engine sounds so good
turbo v6 edge. hamda down a gas guzzler but very fun.
Never buy a CVT. So by default the Edge would win for me just for that.
Murano all day all night, the classic v6 with the CTV, and high quality interior and quiet cabin, and the cooled seats is insane, the 360 is great, and the comfort of the seats in the front and back is awesome
performance? ?
I have Nissan 2019 Murano SL
Good game man I'd pick that to
This comparison might be with Edge 3.5 engine.
The style on the murano is just so ugly I don't know how someone could like it
+Sal D'Agostino You're right. We should all drive silver Accords.
Look way better than the edge on styling you’re crazy
You need premium to get 245 hp in a turbo? The murano has more hp in the v6(260 vs245) the murano is the better looking imo
The edge is no compitition
Same my battery died before!
It died at 20 months of lease
Too bad the Nissan rusts before the vehicle is paid off....
I choose...the new turbo mazda CX-9 =)
+Christopher .WalkenPNW Where have you been?! We haven't heard from you in quite a spell.
Not in the same class as the Murano or Edge.
The Mazda CX9's comparison would be the Ford Explorer and Nissan Pathfinder.
+WuWei Xu Told him the comparable vehicles.
Billy Sou Nice.
Do you write down what you’re gonna say in a video or just wing it??
IF you write it down, PROOFREAD. Because you said some contradicting things. SMH
Funny I have a 07 edge and I was racing that same Murano just like in the video in i was doing his ass filthy lol
Funny because I use to have a edge and a murano beat me so shut up
It was 20q4 and you’re car would’ve probably broke down xD
Have a nice, joyful and safe-driving experience, thanks for showing.
I just bought an edge
drove the nissan rogue on vacation . nice ride but throw 4 adults and the power sucks . needs a V6
Really Like the MURANO
Ford better
Would never ever buy another Nissan. Bought a 2009 Murano and had to replace the transmission at 50k miles, which was covered. At 135k now and guess what? Need another transmission. Look up the issues they had with the Murano CVT and how they handled them before you ever consider Nissan. They claim they worked out the issues with the CVT but who knows.
Matty Mil they didn't most of the Altimas still have problems
Shut up I had an edge and I had transmissions problems with that that the gear knob wouldn’t switch gear so you better shut your mouth
So the Nissan is safer, cheaper, more economical, better interior and is more engaging to drive, yet you chose the Ford?
My question is how they thought the Edge won... Unless you're biased towards Ford I don't see how you wouldn't pick the Murano.
This guy is basically a hater on Nissan products. You can clearly see first Nissan Murano have a better look in styling inside and out and the best of all, it cheaper and quality is better.
