I'm so confused on all of this sequence talk. It all gets blended .-. If any of you care about a "sequence" that much, make your coffee at home and you can put the ingredients in whichever order you'd like.
I care my boss will yell at me if I make drinks like that. And every other Starbucks I worked at I. The city they will never let me do anything like. I THINK IF THE COMPANY TOOK THE TINE TO PUT THEIR STANDARDS OF HOW TO MAKE DEINKS ON A VIDEO AND ON WRITING ✍️ IT NAY MEANS THAT THEY WANT IT THAT WAY.
I work at Starbucks and I love my job and I love the company and the standards it sets and the training and all that. But at the end of the day, a job is a job. It’d be different if this guy was a manager or something but if you’ve ever worked at Starbucks I highly doubt you’ve followed the standards every single time. During morning rush you better believe I’m gonna try and get drinks out fast, not to say that I don’t still care about the quality, but in reality most of our customers care more about getting their drink fast than if I put the ice in first or not.

the only thing that it does when you shake it is change the colour--there is no syrup in it so once your straw is in the cup it pretty much has been "shaken" all it needs...

I work at a test market store and we make our drinks a bit different we use flavor extracts and we don’t use frap base instead we use a thing called sweet cream and no its not the same sweet cream for the cold brew

using the shaker isn't about measurements it's about spreading the coldness to the whole cup! so if you don't shake it there's no body of liquid it's still separate and it isn't all cold.

Or, even better, we typically had one bar with gloves on so that person (rather than taking the extra minute JUST to measure the stupid shaker) they simply place their finger on the straw hole and shake the drink as if tho it was in a shaker...

But the ingredients are:; milk, ice, caramel flavor, concentrated coffee called frap. Roast(or espresso), and base(basically has the texture of corn syrup) witch allows for the signiture texture in every frapaccino.

Dunno why people are upset, they’re acting like they’re coffee artisans. It’s a chain cafe. It will never be hand crafted with passion because you’re given artificial packaged flavors that are all made ready for you. A Starbucks barista is nothing compared to an actual barista who does everything without the help of a shot machine, grinder, artificial flavor pumps, etc. It’s like working at a more expensive McCafe. I can’t handle the attitude of some of the coworkers and customers I had to deal with while working at Starbucks. It’s great to be making the best of what you do and to be passionate for coffee, but it’s not a reason to demand superiority over those who aren’t as passionate.

Lady Lílian Add a berry hibiscus base, then water, then ice. The hibiscus base is provided already in a carton by the starbucks company. The drink takes literally no effort. And no syrups are added standardly.

That's not how repeatable routine goes. You're suppose to hand off that CRF before the BHR since it was already the blender already stopped. And you're suppose to shake the BHR. That's one of my petpeeves. When partners don't shake the teas or refreshers. I hate when people don't follow company standards.

Quality and consistency over speed any day. Shaking aerates the teas and refreshers, creating a lighter mouth feel.

Lady Lílian Add a berry hibiscus base, then water, then ice. The hibiscus base is provided already in a carton by the starbucks company. The drink takes literally no effort. And no syrups are added standardly.

That's not how repeatable routine goes. You're suppose to hand off that CRF before the BHR since it was already the blender already stopped. And you're suppose to shake the BHR. That's one of my petpeeves. When partners don't shake the teas or refreshers. I hate when people don't follow company standards.
