Saved my life brother I was getting discouraged as I had a 660r and couldn’t figure out anything. Checked the grounds, cleaned the carb, changed diaphragm. So happy I found your video. Much live man 👌🏽
Thank you so very much! My brother is a mechanic and I had him check my 2003 Raptor 660 and he didn’t know what caused it, he said we needed to take it all apart and check the carburetor parts. I said, let me check online first sometimes people have solutions, turns out there is a lot a forums about people with the same problem, but no fix… then your video was clear I knew that was my problem because my dad moved something on my handlebar and I heard a click sound, few minutes later I start it and it does the bogging a backfire… Thanks again for that easy fix! I did it today and it works like a charm! What a beast that 660
If you have mid range problems and still want to ride. Adjust your fuel dial to off then go 1/4 turn to reserve. Once that is set, push your choke lever half way. Full revs back
Great video .. now this is my problem i was able to fix it after i saw your video 3x 😂.. now the wire you pulled out was not the wire i pulled out 🤦🏼♂️ i pulled the wire right under the one you pulled & demonstrated on the video. I pulled and broke the wire right under of the top wire. what is the name of thoes wires ill just replace both i cant find what are the those wires called or what there functions are. need help with that thanks 🙏🏼
is it possible to add a switch to the rev limter button so its kinda like 2 step? When you want 2 step switch it on and when you want to ride noramly switch it off.
I've never done it myself but it sounds like it should work just the way you said it im not sure if that's bad for the motor or not but it does sound cool
When I first got my raptor it did this and I did the same thing and it fixed it for a long time but now it’s having the same issue again and I can’t figure it out.
Hell yeah man saved my ass, just spent 50$ on a new carb and I was about to get pretty upset when I found your video and tried it, how would I fix that get a new switch?
So when the parking brake is on you can't really ride away and wear out the brakes or to save the motor from over reving really not sure it's just there and makes this problem lol

I hope I made it quite and simple! Right to the point of the problem
Mine does the same i tried a few things and nothing!, doing that really works?????
@@JoseCruz-wh1gb let me know if that was your problem

Mine just started doing the exact same thing today. Im gonna try this.
Man your a live saver. Appreciate your help:)
I’ve been messing with mine for a week…. Stumbled on this. Fixed instantly. Thanks man. Can you get rid of this switch or do I need to replace it
I'm not 100% sure I've never taken it off to find out if there is a way glad it helped
If you fully throttle on neutral with that BP sensor not properly working will it full rev or slowly throttle start bogging down until engine stops?

Clutch switch and Rev limiter switch should get you on the right track
Or parking brake switch
I foond it its called the clutch sensor thanks everyone
So do I cut the parking brake wire ? My raptor reverse light keeps coming on and back firing and won’t let me get two second gear 🤦🏾♂️
I'm not sure if cutting it will make any difference I think the 2 wires have to be connected together for it to do anything
how about if it only starts in neutral?

A new switch or some black tape around it after you put it in
Okay, I took it out and it’s able to rev now but it still bogs around limiter
So you put black tape around it and it keep it from bogging out
@@joshharris5750 I just adjusted my clutch lever and made sure that switch stays in
And how did you put it back, but to stay pressed?
I don't remember now I think I put a zip tie to hold it in the right spot
If this don’t work check the wire under the front sprocket ride beside oil drain plug
Heck yea
If I upload a video of my 04 can u tell me if it’s the same ?
If it's the video on your channel it sounds to be the clutch safety switch
I would find the switch .take it out of its spot and hold it with your finger. start the bike and see if it still does the same
👍👍👍
what's the point of having that switch?

I think this could be the deal with my warrior
This actually was the problem
Glad to help it took my self days
