- Border View Farms is a mid sized family farm that sits on the Ohio-Michigan border. We raise corn, soybeans, and wheat on a little over 3,000 acres.
My name is Nathan. I run this channel and farm with my dad, Mark and uncle, Phil. I started making these videos in the fall of 2019 as a way to help show what I do on a daily basis as a farmer. I get questions about how and why we do things on the farm frequently even from my own family members so to help explain things it's easier to just show you. I hope that I can address questions or concerns that you might have about farms and agriculture in general as well as dispel some of the common misconceptions.
I hope you enjoy my content and please ask questions as you have them. I do my best to answer anything I can.
I appreciate you subscribing to my channel and liking my videos. You can also find me on Facebook borderviewfarms and on Instagram @borderviewfarms

Good job with weatherstation. Install. Cup above pole, good job!!
Thanks
Little bit of this, little bit of that type of day. God bless you and your family.
Never get too much done on the farm. there’s always stuff to do. Enjoyed today’s video. 👍☕️🍀
No more dealing with those darn blue tag/handles on those boxes until next year.lol
Still have a few to deal with
If there was 24 hrs of day light we probably work 24 hrs. Seems to happen around here. Great video. We need them days to get odd jobs done. 👍👍
It's good to be able to tie up some loose ends. Those smaller things can weigh on you. Good hanging with you. Let us know when you get the link up. 😊
I was a district manger for MLM seed division Asgrow for three years . At the end of planting season it was tough to get everything to balance if you didn't keep real good records .You have to keep your warehouse locked or product disapears
Looks like top notch weather station.. love doing concrete, I’m concrete finisher and do driveways sidewalks porches and Patios.
Was thinking of buying one of those weather stations. They have come down in price used to be 1k. 300 is not bad
This one was about $650 with the weatherlink live to get the data online.
Border View Farms just looked it up your correct depends on version
got your post nice and level - seems like a bit overkill to have concrete around it, but I guess better safe than sorry
Maybe but I'm not a fan of wood posts in the ground. 3 bags of concrete cost about $15 so not a big deal.
Good morning how are you doing today
✌️✌️✌️
A farmers job is never done,,,,, what about the link to the weather station. ??? Thanks for sharing
I'll have a link in the next videos description.
You won't regret getting a davis, mines been up 7 years with no problem till this week. I got the fars model with IR and UV sensors that has a bubble level to get it level. My temp/ humidity sensor is failing, at night the humidity drops to 3% even when raining, I'm waiting for a new sensor, even though I'm still very happy with it. I run a multi language weather website from it www.laracha-meteo.es
You can buy an extra console to have one in each houes, you can also get a booster kit if its out of range with the normal sender.
Do you have the weather station link?
Not yet. I didn't get something right because its not uploading data yet.
Post hold driggers is better,,,lol
No doubt but I don't have one and wasn't renting/buying one for one hole
