Thank you very much Doctor for the incredible work you are doing in helping students conduct good research. I have really benefited a lot from your tutorials. However, I have a challenge in this tutorial to understand how and where you obtained data that constituted the dependent variable. I fully understand how you coded the data that constituted the independent variables that it was generated from the Likert scale. But how did you interpret the questionnaire to generate the information in the dependent variable entrepreneurial Intention at 22:06?
I will be grateful for your timely response, thanks.
@@daviemlose2008
Entrepreneurship intention dataset was adopted from an existing measurement scale. You can Google Entrepreneurship intention measurement scale. You will see many to adopt for your own data collection.
@@Dr.Okolie Thank you so much Sir for your timely feedback.
Dr Okolie, thank you very much for this video. You have really demystified the concept with lucid explanation and demonstration.
Thank you sir. Glad you found the video helpful and interesting too
God bless you!!!!You saved me !No teacher in my uni is able to explain SPSS as you do!!!!!!By far you are the best of the best!I’ve already recommended your videos to my student colleagues!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you sooooo sooooo much!!!!!

Wow! Thank you so much. I am glad you found the video helpful
Good day Dr, this has been the most comprehensive and very easy to follow. It showed up just when I needed it. Thank you so much.
Glad it was helpful!
@@Dr.OkoliePlease can you explain in a video how to enter and analyze data using SPSS regarding this research topic : the relationship between principal Leadership style and teacher performance.
inDependent variable: principals leadership style [ autocratic, democratic and laissez-faire]
dependent variable: teacher performance
IN this study I'm going to use two questionnaires, one for principals and one for teachers.
Your video is a very helpful step-by-step process. The Dr. also speaks clearly.
Thank you very much for finding the video helpful. Best wishes

Well explained Dr. Okolie.
What if I have a P value greater than 0.05. Should I report even when the instruments are reliable
Sure! All the relationships must not be statistically significant
Thank you so much Dr Okolie, lots of love from India, It is highly educative and you made a difficult topic so simple, Can you please provide the data set for my own practice.
Thanks for watching the video. You can use your own dataset and follow the procedures provided in the video. The data used in the video is not mine. Thus, I do not have the permission to share them.
Thank you very much Dr. for clear explanation and guidance.

Hello Dr Amos, Good job. Do you have any video on how to develop items for independent variables, please?
Thank you and you saved my Thesis ❤

Please I'm a bit confused. How did you get the data for the dependent variables entrepreneural intention? Was it from the 3 independent variables or you collected it separately?
Thank you for watching the video. The dependent variable has it's own measurement scale that measured separately. So, the data for the dependent variable is different from those of the dependent variables. Thank you
Thank you so much, sir.. its a great work
Thank you. Please share and like the tutorial
Appreciate the concise analysis.
Thank you very much. This video may also add to your knowledge ruclips.net/video/_GbIBtg5yG0/видео.html
Thank you for the tutorial. How did you get T1- T5, P1-P5 and F1 - F5 since the independent variables were only 3
Those are the item statements used for data collection
I did a good job Sir, very easy to understand
Glad you found the video helpful. Please, share and like the video.
Please can you do a complete video on analysis likert scale using spss and bringing our dependent variable and independent variable
Thank you, but this tutorial used Likert Scale, and all variables (dependent and independent) were clearly spelt out.
Hello Dr. Thank you for your intuitive videos. However, I have seen videos where most of them find the sum of the mean of the Likert scale items and use it for the regression analysis. What is your take on that? Your response will be much appreciated.
Hello, thank you very much for watching my tutorial. Yes. you are correct. There are two two ways to group the Likert Scale items before conducting a regression analysis. You can either sum the items or use sum of the means.
In this tutorial, I explained this clearly here and showed how to do both of them. ruclips.net/video/p4TEVkL_BMc/видео.html
Greetings Dr in case we have categorical control variables then we need to create dummy variables for them ?
Yes you can
Thank you Dr.Okolie
please some explanation about multicollinearity?
I will make a video on that
Really great video. Only one thing is missing. If you have the data you should attach that sample data for practice as well. Can you upload the practice data in your description so newbies can practice on the data by watching your video again and again?
Thank you very much. Great tip. I'll be making the dataset available for viewers to practice. Thank you a lot. Please, share and like the video
Can you update the data? I need it now.@@Dr.Okolie
@@4.0Technologies-r3h Thanks but I do not have the permission to provide you the data. The data belongs to my student. You can use your own data to practice with the tutorial. Best wishes
@@Dr.Okolie😮 Yes but please try to give us any sample of your own so that we can practice them. Please
Thank you Dr. How would i interpret if the study is statistically significant which p value is less than 0.01 but thr the beta value and the t-value is negative ? What happens ?
Thank you very much for watching the tutorial video. If your analysis shows a negative statistically significant Beta weight, you'll interpret it to mean that the Variable A (i.e., independent variable) influences Variable B (Dependent variable) negatively. This means that an increase in variable A significantly decreases variable B.
Hope this helps.
Appreciate this work sir.
Thanks so much sir
Greetings Dr
For construct we have to take mean score like in a construct we have seven statements so there sum /7?

What if the data set have evidence of multicollinearity?
Thank you. This is really helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
Please is there a way I can calculate my null hypothesis? I have my data analysis already
The null hypothesis is the opposite of the research hypothesis tested in this study.
You are good Sir!
Thank you very much
@@Dr.Okolie Sir please let me quickly use the opportunity to ask how to increase my Cronbach Alpha... It is less than . 70. What do you when you have alpha value less than .70?
Thank you sir for your prompt response
@@kelvinnwachukwu3751 Thank you for watching the video. If your data doesn't achieve the minimal threshold of 0.70 for Cronbach's alpha, it simply means that there could be some issues with reliability of the instruments you've used for data collection. So, you should purse the analysis, and probably, collect more data to see whether your data can improve.
Another issue that affects reliability may be having too many item statements in one questionnaire which may confuse respondents. Order effect may also cause problems with reliability of your instruments.
Great information sir. God bless you! Sir i have a question, when transforming your variables just before linear regression, is it advisable to sum the variables or do we use mean
Thank you for finding the video helpful. You can sum the item statements for each variable, you can also use the mean. See this video for a clearer information ruclips.net/video/p4TEVkL_BMc/видео.html
@Dr.Okolie God bless you for this sir. I just watched the video and got even more clarified.

How can I join your classes. Sir
Doc please what can one who is having excluded case do?
If I understand what you refer to excluded case as missing data (response), you can report remove the responses with missing data.
what about if the dependent variable has more variance
From experience, a dependent variable can have bigger, smaller, or the same variance as the independent variable. This is not really an issue to worry so much about in regression research
Doc why is the last item 4 ?
May I ask why the data value in Family Business is either 1 or 2? Thanks
Because, it is a control variable. Control variables are not the main variables of the study. So, you simply report the results but do not discuss them.
Please try to make the camera clear, in all the videos is not clear making difficult to learn
Noted. Thank you
Sir can i have mail id
