- Lohgarh Fort - Sikh State Capital, established by Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, is spread in almost 7000 acres and is situated in the old state of Nahan, now in District Yamuna nagar of Haryana and District Sirmour of Himanchal Pradesh

In 1710 Baba Banda Singh Bahadur along with Singh Army conquered Sirhind after the victorious battle of Chappar Chiri near Kharar.
Baba Banda Singh abolished Jagirdari System at Sirhind and started the construction of Qila Lohgarh Sahib in present day Yamuna Nagar (Haryana). This place became the first Khalsa Raajdhani (Capital). From 1710-1712.

Dr Harjinder Singh has told that he was misled to this so-called FORT. Lohgarh fort was just one village and not 7000 acres. Full of gossips. This was NOT biggest fort. This is distortion of history.
