What a great review! Long wear test, with and without powder is so helpful. As a teenager I like cream foundations and now I try this formula again. The Honest Beauty foundation has a beautiful finish but it seems I break out from the essential oils. The Lily Lolo has no fragrance and your skin looks amazing with it 🤩 I wanna use this asap 😃

Out of curiosity what is your foundation/base routine like? Are you someone who likes light coverage or medium or full? Do you use primer? Do you prefer set or unset skin? Just intrigued by different makeup routines 😊
@@Isabella_makeup_sfx Aww thank you for asking. :) I usually take 4 steps. My skin is acne prone, dry on the cheeks but have oily T zone. First of, I apply my moisturizer and some eye cream. Then, I apply my Hynt beauty concealer in the shade Medium on my undereye area, my nose and over any blemishes. (tip: always apply Hynt beauty over moisturizing cremes, cause a year after using it without, I had dry skin and some brand fine lines on the areas where I was using it). Then, on mornings, I apply my colorscience tinted face shield spf50 which acts as an spf, moisturizer and light tinted liquid foundation. It is also non comedogenic! I then set it either with my Lily Lolo powder foundation for a heavier coverage or my Alima Pure satin matte foundation for a lighter coverage but also a satin finish (perfect for night out). Last step, I apply some cream highlighter on strategic areas on the face, for a more fresh and youthful look! That's it! But I am interested in incorporating the LL cream foundation, especially when I want a very smooth application. So, to answer the questions, I don't really like using any primers, I like medium coverage (I do prefer to see some skin through), I love a satin finish on the skin, I prefer to set only the T zone and leave the cheeks as they are.

As I’ve said all over the place since autumn, my 2020 discovery was that I have a pretty severe contact reaction to castor oil. It explains a lot of issues I’ve had over the years. I also have issues with talc, bismuth, excessive amounts of ‘cones, and I expect to discover more ingredients. The joys of a sensitive face, right? Do you know how many cream cosmetics use castor oil? Lipsticks, foundations, concealer, even some mascara, and brow products. This foundation does not. I picked up alima pure’s cream concealer because it has no castor oil either. Thinking of grabbing the vegan mascara, and cream foundation this spring. I don’t usually use black mascara, but it gets such good reviews I thought it might be good to try it. Too bad there aren’t sample kits for the cream foundation, like there are for the mineral foundation. Thanks again!

Thank you. Well the next shade would be linen which is medium with warm undertones which on the website looks too warm for my skin tone.
