Ya know... this doesn’t seem like it would be a last breath- so ima make my own AU! Undertale - Skelett-Usurpator Sans in this timeline realized that some monsters were doomed to fall no matter what he did, after several previous runs, last breath, disbelief etc. so later into the Human’s reset, after they left the Ruins, sans slayed asgore in secret for LV, stating that it was suicide after his wife was murdered by the human in the ruins. He takes charge as nobody else is capable, or takes the initiative, and orders a complete underground evacuation. During this time, sans also kills flowey, preventing him from interfering with his plans. Undyne in this timeline, having knowledge of the king’s supposed suicide, and the murder of the queen, would fight the human in Snowdin, using full armor to her advantage, and fighting alongside Mettaton, who would have forced his way into helping her. After those two are dealt with, most of the monsters have evacuated Snowdin, the few that still remain are the Librarbian, Dog Guards, and Grillby. Doggo would get a mini boss fight, predominantly focused on Blue attacks, though with just enough of other attacks to force a tough battle. Papyrus has remade the Garbage dump in waterfall into an impropto fortification, and is declared head of the Royal guard, due to lack of candidates. He dons some leftover armor(primarily to please his ego) and does everything in his power to aid the monsters that are left, giving them healing items, and fortifying sans’ old sentry stations, which he can’t man anymore as king. Alphys also helps out with papyrus, making the Overworld a pain to traverse, and it all climaxes once you enter hotland, and make it to the lab. I do just have to quickly question what the actual heck is the point of these 20k odd phases. Last Breath has 3 phases and no amount of shitposting songs from other AUs can change that
Nah, but this is part of an official remake of U:LB, and it has over 200+ phases because sans summons AUs and shit. And get this: it's actually gonna be turned into a game. If you don't believe me, search up 'Mr. Last Breath' on soundcloud.
a bunch of people in this comment section dont realise how strong asgore is. he is incredibly powerful, much more than sans. if anything, asgore could utilise his trident much more effectively than sans, sans cant just 'kill' asgore like its an easy task either. youre all treating sans like hes above literally every other monster in the underground, but dont give a second thought to other powerful characters like undyne the undying, napstablook whos basically indestructable and asgore as i said. asgore can dodge, undyne says this herself. the LEADER of the royal guard couldnt land a finger on asgore. flowey blatantly says ''sans has caused his fair share of resets'' but meanwhile flowey could NEVER pass asgore. also it goes without saying asgore did not try at ALL in the fight against him. i also dislike the idea of sans being able to hold asgore's trident as its known hes the physically strongest monster in the underground. a heavy weapon requires strength to be lifted, which i doubt sans has. now, imagine if he was warned on genocide? do you know how horrendously difficult a fight against a bloodlusted asgore would be? because my sorry ass wouldnt wanna see that nightmare become real. do you realistically think the man that led a war, and is the king of monsters would die so easily to a kid? because i definitely think not.
