He's not even a zombie - he's just a brittle shell of dust being held in the shape of a corpse by Gaster's reality-altering powers and animated by the Determination-infused essence of hundreds of dead monsters. That might be the single grimmest thing I've ever seen in Undertale.

His health bar should shatter into a bunch of pieces, his magical eye should blow up with it and while that happens the rest of his wound would heal with his other eye lights up.
