I hope you enjoy this little adventure tonight. It was Mike's first kayak trip and needless to say, filled with little disasters. No metal detecting in this one. Thanks for watching! Part two of this adventure: ruclips.net/video/Mqnl9J_xk74/видео.html Mike’s RUclips: www.youtube.com/@gr8finds196
Trying to kayak through the aftermath of a tornado was it's own adventure! Lol Glad you both are safe. Hope Mike's knee is better. Your video's Beau, never cease to amaze me. 😊
When men met wasp's🐝🐝 realized trees collapsed and kayak Drag is the real Aventure yeaper at least no Rabid Beaver's!🦫🦫🦫 fun in the river with Beau!!!; )😅😂
Your friend... every branch that came near his hands he had to grab, even after you warned him. lmao (small lmao). And yes, safety gramps here - always wear a life preserver.
Hey mike, Glad you are safe man !!! Im a river hunter in Maine, And this has been the rainiest season in 6 yrs. All of our rivers have been swollen most of the summer. Be safe out there !!!
Poor Mike, big guys in kayaks go swimming often in little rivers like that! I have the exact kayak you have Chig. Early in video I saw you sitting high above seat, I do it alot on lakes, not it rapids. Many of my friends on little river trips got swamped just like that. I remember the laughter shared by all!! Rk.
I love Beau he is so nice and doesn't make fun of Mike at all and instead helps him 🥺. I'd love to go metal detecting with you Beau next time I go to Philly over the new year haha!
A tornado came through my area once a few years ago, thankful I had no damage. The sound of it did remind me of like a freight train in the distance. Thanks for the video! Love watching them.
I have watched you for years Chigg. I LMAO on this one. Some dangerous places on that creek. We call it siphons in swift water rescue. Enjoyed watching, as always. Tough love for poor Mike.
That is definitely a challenging first time in a kayak. One thing I noticed in some of the rivers in Michigan, is fishing hooks and lures hanging from trees, where they were snagged. Grabbing branches or even going UNDER branches can get you hooked, which is not fun at all. I am glad you and Mike survived the adventure. Thanks for sharing. :)
I think Mike handled flipping pretty well, especially with wasps coming for him. Always helps to have an experienced person with you. He will be zipping along like a pro in no time. I learned the method of recovering a flipped and swamped canoe in Boy Scouts, but I could never actually practice it. Had a major water phobia back then.
That river is way too high and swift from the rain for an inexperienced kayaker. All of the trees down in swift water are drowning machines. I'm glad that Mike wasn't injured badly or worse.
What an adventure! Bit you mastered thus one intrepidly as always, Chig. It was sweet to see you watching over Mike, cheering him on, bring a mother hen as it were.
Well that was an adventure to say the least. The best way to learn, throw them in the deep end. I was taught the Eskimo roll as I had a skirt on my kayak. Hope Mike's leg is ok.
Meanwhile, Level 9000 Boss Chigg kayaks, paddles, shoots video, and narrates while providing first aid, comfort, and recovery operations. Hope all is well, Mike!
I've fished and paddled a kayak for years, and have seen countless wasp nest (and snakes) hanging from a branch that was high in a tree....before the tree was blown down into the water, the bee's and nest may have come off a branch he hit while going around the blow downs. Ask me how I know
Looks very hazardous! And this is quite instructive for all.of us. I never knew about being swept under and maybe drowned under storm upended trees! Good warning! You guys are braver than I on this one. ..
When I was a kid my grandmother had a cabin at the lake. We had a few tornados blow through in June of 1978. One tornado took the roof and walls of our boat dock, blew the twin engine Bertram cruiser across to the other side of the cove and beached her halfway out of the water on the rocks. Crazy thing is? The cruiser was tied up inside the boat dock, there was a little two man Sunfish sailboat just sitting on the floor inside the dock. The Sunfish never moved. It was right where we left it! Sail and all! Tornados are living breathing monsters!
Oh my gosh Beau😂 I was just saying to Mike on one of his latest videos that I have a blast watching you two together🤣😄☺️ Note to Mike: no tearing it all up while you are in the kayak😆 Hope your leg is feeling better, kind of scary and it sure could have turned out worse, glad it didn't. Loved the no metal detecting video today😁👍 #chiggsarmy
Love getting my kayaks out, floating down the Namoi, peel and McDonald’s rivers here in Australia is great and okay fishing. Yes chigg the peel river not far from nundle gold countryside.
Take care you two! The increased water flow and all those tangles of trees and branches can make it very dangerous -- maybe better to come back another day!
LOL video. I did a lot of kayaking back in the day - best way to get in one is to lay the paddle on top of the rear of the cockpit. Stand beside kayak, put your hands behind your back a bit and rest on the paddle, bend knees and put weight on one paddle on the shore to stabilize then weight on both hands as you get in. I have gotten into my kayak in high saltwater surf conditions using this method. When you are in put the paddle straight up over your head, go for your power stroke or push off. To get out just reverse the process - always with the paddle behind your back on top of the cockpit with one blade on the shore. Never fails. Our instructor taught us this way in a pool He then took his kayak up on the high dive platform and sailed off. Hit the water straight in, did an Eskimo roll and came up laughing. Guess he knew what he was doing!
My experience is to use the paddle more as a trailing steering rudder to navigate. A back paddle can change the direction your pointing quickly if necessary and then a power stroke to catch up with current. With experience you can read the water and just go scooting along.
Chigg if I ever get a chance to go Kayaking I' want you for a teacher. You seem so calming, even if you got the giggles. :~) PS. Alot of people have had heavy rains. An I've been watching all the swollen creeks an rivers on TV. Those people lost trees an even houses.
After watching you for years, I've been wondering why you don't just get a sit on top kayak. Whole lot easier to get in and out of and you have more storage space.
Was Out Today with My Granddaughter and son! Water was up a couple of feet and we were trucking! Inherently dangerous! Water will get ya if ya don't be careful! 😎
You’ve never kayaked mike?? Cmon I’ll take you kayaking to a great spot to metal detect (gives him a leaky kayak with a live wasps nest in it to a creek filled with tornado debris) it’ll be fun what could go wrong?😂😂😂 next time he will probably say he’s busy 😂😂😂 great adventure looking forward to the rest of it thanks for sharing see you on the next one 👍🏼👊🏼 p.s. I know you had no idea about any of it but it’s still funny 😬
Really should have vests on, though!! Remember when I took you up Stone Mountain in Tennessee hunting for ginseng I stressed the importance of safety and having all the right safety gear. Anyway great videos but remember your vests!!!
Well Iwas thinking about going kayaking. But after seeing that experiance. I don`t think so. Even though you guys had to navigate through all that stuff. lol
That's about how the Forked Deer River looked the time 5 of us floated few miles of it years ago in a small 12 ft boat which we all liked to drown I was thinking about this few weeks ago all those have died since then except me
I hope you enjoy this little adventure tonight. It was Mike's first kayak trip and needless to say, filled with little disasters. No metal detecting in this one. Thanks for watching!

Well, it was a pleasant trip down the river... up to the point it wasn't such a pleasant trip. Either way, thanks for bringing us along.
May not have been any detecting but it was still a good video. Glad Mike didn't get hurt too bad. Chigg, you and Mike be safe!
Chigg, can we vote on Mike getting booted from Chiggs Bootcamp, now that hes a potential walking wounded🤔
@aquachigger Poor Mike. Bless his heart, he looks so miserable 😅
Great you guys outdoors are having fun awesome day 👍
Trying to kayak through the aftermath of a tornado was it's own adventure! Lol
Glad you both are safe.
Hope Mike's knee is better.
Your video's Beau, never cease to amaze me. 😊
You both made me so darn nervous. You should have had life jackets on. Mike, I hope you are okay. Chiggs had your back.👍
When men met wasp's🐝🐝 realized trees collapsed and kayak Drag is the real Aventure yeaper at least no Rabid Beaver's!🦫🦫🦫 fun in the river with Beau!!!; )😅😂
I think mike is YOUR guardian angel! Great adventure guys!
REMIND ME IF I'M EVER LUCKY ENOUGH TO DETECT WITH THE CHIGG, KAYAK LESSONS ARE A MUST... LMBO!! TO MUCH FUNN YOU GUYS
This might be number two next to the legendary great Beaver bite as far as disasters go .
Hey, Dennis!
Yeah, Maine....
Hey Dave@@davestelling
Boy we could use some of that down south , haven’t had a drop in over a month. Everything is dying.
Thanks. It was an adventure
Same with Vermont. We have had worse flooding here this summer than Hurricane Irene in O6 and The Great 1927 flood.
Crazy kayak adventure Beau & Mike. Hope Mike is ok!
Poor Mike, big guys in kayaks go swimming often in little rivers like that! I have the exact kayak you have Chig. Thank you for sharing another great adventure 👍
I love Beau he is so nice and doesn't make fun of Mike at all and instead helps him 🥺. I'd love to go metal detecting with you Beau next time I go to Philly over the new year haha!
What an adventure! Glad you guys made it through okay
Aquachigger oh geez hope he's OK and you carry first aid kit great finds loved the animal video 👍🦊🐾🇮🇹🍻🇺🇲
A tornado came through my area once a few years ago, thankful I had no damage. The sound of it did remind me of like a freight train in the distance. Thanks for the video! Love watching them.
The adventures of 2 old men in kayaks....true story...🤣😂
At least they didn’t hear dueling banjos
I have watched you for years Chigg. I LMAO on this one. Some dangerous places on that creek. We call it siphons in swift water rescue. Enjoyed watching, as always. Tough love for poor Mike.
I tuned looking for a Aquachigger video & instead got Mutt & Jeff. Glad you are both ok.
Always something to learn from your videos. New word for me: "kepi". Mike will get the hang of it!
I'm glad Mike wasn't injured worse , glad you were okay . That was a mess, y'all stay safe out there.
That is definitely a challenging first time in a kayak. One thing I noticed in some of the rivers in Michigan, is fishing hooks and lures hanging from trees, where they were snagged. Great vid again 🎉 keep them coming always waiting for the next 😊
50 seconds after publishing? 😆
Yeah-
Wow. What an adventure. Thanks for the excitement.
Reminds me of some canoe adventures I went on as a younger man. The danger is half the fun sometimes,👍🇬🇧🇺🇸
Awesome video thank you so very much for sharing brother are you in West Virginia hope you have a wonderful week 👍👍❤️
That river is way too high and swift from the rain for an inexperienced kayaker. All of the trees down in swift water are drowning machines. I'm glad that Mike wasn't injured badly or worse.
We didn't know the trees were down in the creek until we started. Did you notice I turned us around when it got bad?
What an adventure! Bit you mastered thus one intrepidly as always, Chig. It was sweet to see you watching over Mike, cheering him on, bring a mother hen as it were.
Lol that’s a heck of an introduction into kayaking lol 🤣👍
Well that was an adventure to say the least. The best way to learn, throw them in the deep end. I was taught the Eskimo roll as I had a skirt on my kayak. Hope Mike's leg is ok.
Meanwhile, Level 9000 Boss Chigg kayaks, paddles, shoots video, and narrates while providing first aid, comfort, and recovery operations. Hope all is well, Mike!
Aloha Chigg & Mike, High water, trees down, not safe cause you could drown. A stable craft, read the water, downhill Vs are the best path.
I've fished and paddled a kayak for years, and have seen countless wasp nest (and snakes) hanging from a branch that was high in a tree....before the tree was blown down into the water, the bee's and nest may have come off a branch he hit while going around the blow downs. Ask me how I know
That could be, I did hose it down before I loaded it and never saw a wasp.
Looks very hazardous! And this is quite instructive for all.of us. I never knew about being swept under and maybe drowned under storm upended trees! Good warning! You guys are braver than I on this one. ..
Good afternoon from Southeast South Dakota
Glad you guys are safe
Pretty fun just watching yall kayak! 🌊 glad yall were safe during the tornados 🌪️
Wow!!! What an adventure ya'll had on the river today
When I was a kid my grandmother had a cabin at the lake. We had a few tornados blow through in June of 1978. Thank you Chigg, loved the trip:) I think this was the storm that damaged many cars at Mecums last auction, what a mess!
You guys definitely picked tough creek to paddle.
Life. Vest should be worn at all times it's better to be safe
Take care you two! The increased water flow and all those tangles of trees and branches can make it very dangerous -- maybe better to come back another day!
First time on the blue river in Indiana... I hit rapids and about drown. It was great and a great laugh. Plus sun poisoning!
Looked like a hoot and a half! Love river floats but tree jams like that can be really dangerous!
Hope his knee is really okay.
Goodness!
Too funny 😂 you guys are nuts 🤣
Not 1 second of that video looked like fun
Looks like strait line wind, what a mess👍🏻
nice u boat commander impersonation lol. with all those trees kinda reminds me of the river journey in apocalypse now.
LOL video. I did a lot of kayaking back in the day - best way to get in one is to lay the paddle on top of the rear of the cockpit. Its all part of the fun. LOL Its got to beat being at work like I was today.
Poor Mike. He did better than what I would of done. Take care!

Agreed.
Looks like a plow wind went through!
Good luck my pren ❤❤
Good stuff......Love the video.
Chigg if I ever get a chance to go Kayaking I' want you for a teacher. You seem so calming, even if you got the giggles. :~) PS. Alot of people have had heavy rains. An I've been watching all the swollen creeks an rivers on TV. Those people lost trees an even houses.

Mike, One good thing about turning your kayak over is "If you gotta go nobody will know " 🤫
Lol. Thanks
Chigg is like NO more newbies 😅
What is created in the creek stays in the creek with the followers checkin things out
beau by the water proof kayak boxes very small and i use it for my phone
at walmart
Awesome video man!
Be safe and GOD BLESS
You should wear a lifejacket they make some that are lite weight. In some states it's the law. Lead by example stay safe. It's a what not to do video.
what a great time! fun times for sure..lol
What your describing is a miroburst that is associated with strong thunderstorms.
Interesting adventure! LOL!
Was Out Today with My Granddaughter and son! Water was up a couple of feet and we were trucking!
Inherently dangerous! Water will get ya if ya don't be careful! 😎
This reminds me of my first time going down the Iowan river 😂
You’ve never kayaked mike?? Wow. What an adventure. If the fallen trees weren’t bad enough you had to throw some wasps at Mike. 😂😂😂
Where are those life jackets?
Haha ! Your doing all right ! 😂❤
I like all your videos but I am missing your cave videos!
That was an adventure
Its Carry on Kayaking 😊
Love adventure but that is how people die. Happened up here in Illinois last year.
Well Iwas thinking about going kayaking. But after seeing that experiance. I don`t think so. Even though you guys had to navigate through all that stuff. lol
Hey Chigg and Mike
He said, “ I’m alright, but my knee is swollen!” 😂
I would really like to buy a hat Chigg. I don't see them in your merch.
Jeez, what a tussel!!!🤣❤️
ROAD THE STRUGGLE BUS AYE
I still don't trust myself with a kayak. Rather use a canoe. Fun stuff though. "Dirty hands are happy hands" 👍🤙
Rapids, downed trees, first time kayaking, hornets . What do you think could go wrong... O'yea, my new phone .😂😂😂
I think sit on kayaks are more stable. Especially if you get a fishing kayak I've pulled myself back on one in water that I couldn't touch bottom.
That's about how the Forked Deer River looked the time 5 of us floated few miles of it years ago in a small 12 ft boat which we all liked to drown I was thinking about this few weeks ago all those have died since then except me
I was listening for the sound of a banjo the whole time . . . 😂
punched a hole in my leg tubing one time ouch
well that was different!!
Mike might be a little scared of going out on Chigg adventures that he has to contend with wasps and pine cones lol
A kayak adventure with a sting in the tail! :-) Hope Mike was undamaged!
