    The "quite cool" and not "leaving" them like this are the kind of quips for which I love your style. Great video! I porbably would use a darker starting tone instead of the strong washes, but I really like your take nonetheless.

    I'm using a green stuff roller as well and I'm quite happy with it, but your idea to copy the plastic ruins is really clever and the result looks ace👍
    And consider the colour scheme of your bases stolen 😉

    This is really cool Adam, I must pay more attention to my bases, it's the bit I never spend enough time on!

    • @dicedrinksanddadjokes
      @dicedrinksanddadjokes  Год назад +3

      I used to be like that too Peter, in fact my cabinet still has lots of minis that are painted really well but have crappy bases. It makes a HUGE difference though and your minis only look as good as the base they're standing on. A golden demon quality mini will look bad if its on a terrible base. Anyways, rant over! Thanks for watching! 😂

    As I bought the Osgiliath-box a couple weeks ago, I'm thinking about how to create bases with an Osgiliath-feeling. This Video helped a lot. I really love the idea with these tiny leaves instead of grass tufts.

    Loving the channel! These bases are amazing! Never worked with blue stuff and milliput before, did you need to wet the mold before putting the base with milliput in? Did you have to leave the base in the mold until it had set or press firmly and peel off?

    • @dicedrinksanddadjokes

    • @dicedrinksanddadjokes
      @dicedrinksanddadjokes  Год назад +2

      And to you mate! The army painter washes aren’t as rich as the citadel ones. But I do find them to be more reliable as in no issues with gloss or that annoying chalkiness you sometimes get.

    How important is pinning? Could I get away with just superglue?

    • @dicedrinksanddadjokes
      @dicedrinksanddadjokes  3 месяца назад

      The pinning adds strength, you could get away with not pinning them just be aware that a bit of rough handling may cause them to break off.
