We have a series 2 Wagoneer and almost 35,000 miles. Thank god we have not have any issues. My wife is on a Facebook Wagoneer club and I keep on telling her stop following because some are not even legitimate complaints and all it does is worry her. As far as the gas mileage it’s averaging 20 pan el says 20.5 I’m sure it’s more like(18) City and freeway. But the size and weight it’s about average so no problem. Even some kid size SUV are doing the same gas mileage.

I have a 2022 Escalade ESV for the family and a 2022 GW Obsidian for my business vehicle. Here are some noted differences and complaints of the GW.
The Slade has electric door handle releases with soft closing doors. The GW door handles take a lot of effort to pull open from the outside. Too much effort.
The GW has rear window shades and the Slade does not. That is a huge plus for the GW. But why they are manual and not electric is a shame.
The 6.4 HEMI in the GW will eat the 6.2 in the Slade alive. The 6.4 is a beast!! And the mileage is basically the same between the two.
The electronics in the GW freak out every now and then. If the center stack goes bonkers, I find that holding down the volume knob until it does a reboot seems to solve it.
The AC fans in the GW are terrible. It’s way too weak and needs more airflow. That’s a big miss. Way better in the Slade.
Night vision in the GW is funny. It is near useless. The Slade works great.
Wish the rear glass of the GW opened like on the Slade. It’s a useful feature.
The GW seems quieter and the ride is better on highway than the Slade.
Only problem in 10k miles I’ve had the GW is occasional software bugs. But as I said, the reboot of the center stack seems to correct it when it happens. Perhaps 1x per month.

We have a Ram 1500 Limited for the business. It is the 5.7 and I find it very strong. I imagine in the Wagoneer it would be as well. The 6.4 just has that extra muscle that makes it truly fast. But to be honest, I rarely use all of the 6.4. It’s more than needed really.
I love the DT chassis that these trucks sit on. It is really a great vehicle. The Slade can get a bit jiggly over bumps and has more wind noise on highway. The GW never feels out of sort over bumps and it is like a tomb on the highway.
I only bought the Slade for the extra length with the kid hauling duties. But really want to trade the Slade for the GW L and get the Turbo I6. Will probably do that in the future.
I like the color combo on your Wagoneer in the video. Looks great!

To my knowledge, it was the series 2 and series 3 that had the air conditioning problems and believe me they are problems as far as the loud problem is it the engine noise or is it the interior noise on the road? I think people are confusing the engine noise with the amount of road noise that you get out of this car for this kind of money as far as the seats go in the back that’s the least of the trouble.

Just rented one of these from Enterprise. Got us up to south shore lake tahoe but was dead in the water after sitting out in the low 30 degree temps. Wasn't from leaving ignition or lights on either. Battery had to be fully charged after a 5 hour drive right? Even a 5 minute jump start wouldn't revive it. Read that these have a serious electrical drain coming from possibly the entertainment system or something. Had to Lyft 40 miles to get a replacement since it happened on a Sunday, an absolute nightmare when on vacation with kids waiting and snow all around. Sorry, I know its the last thing Jeep fans want to hear but I know after reading other reviews on this model this is not a one-off thing.

    • @QuickShifts
      @QuickShifts  Год назад

Sorry you had bad luck with a rental. I wouldn’t call this common as I have never heard of this before. Too many factors to take into consideration. Wranglers with the dual battery system for start stop get “stranded” when the smaller start stop battery dies. Poor design there for sure, but have not heard of this on the Wagoneer.

I have a Grand Cherokee with the 5.7L Hemi and IT IS very noisy. Not the tail pipe rumble, but the accessory drive agricultural like sounds from under the hood. It sounds very unsophisticated. The 5.7l likes to have high octane fuel. It’s been proven that running the cheap stuff causes more noise from pre-detonation and that causes more wear and tear on the internals. It’s time for an update. I’ll get one together for you. 😉👍🏻

    I have a 2023 Series 3.
Nothing but regret. The electronics are glitchy, the new uconnect is slow as a turtle. This is nothing but regret. Stellantis can rot in hell for this garbage.
I am sure that even a navigator would be more reliable, and that’s a low bar.
The app for a 100k machine is absolute garbage, garbage, garbage. My simple so frills 2022 Ram Warlock is more reliable than this thing.
The screen blacks out, the audio disappears, the heads up display is missing all features, the dealership has no clue what the flying f..k that car is actually supposed to do because the manufacturer messaging is absolutely deplorable. The AC in the seats is barely noticeable.
We traded a 2022 Telluride Night Sky y loaded for something that was almost twice as much with half the options, and of that half, half of those barely work.
The Kia app was a work of art compared to the Wagoneer app.
Shame is not on the plate for Jeep or a Stellantis. I feel like we got burned. We will likely trade it in at a loss.
At this point, a car from the flinstones would likely be more consistently reliable.
    Stellantis…YOU SUCK!
    Buyer beware!

Series 2 with 50k miles. Worst car I’ve ever owned. Both heated seats broke. Radio randomly reboots, clicking in dash, battery had to be replaced (it’s a 2022) keyfobs don’t get recognized half the time. Engine and transmission have been ok. Luckily we have the 5.7 because the dealer said the inline 6 engines are horrible. Worst part is neither if the 2 dealers EVER fixed any of the problems except the rattling dash.
