None of these comments are less than a year old and nobody will see this, but I just finished fe3h today and really loved it. I casually enjoyed some of the previous fe games, but this one held a special place in my heart.
This game is what got me into the series and it is currently my favorite Fire Emblem game. I will never forget this game.

I started with Fates, and I played Awakening, SoV and Blazing Sword, but Three Houses is definitely my favorite. Such a great story, cast of characters, and ost and the gameplay was really fun. I’ll enjoy future FE games of course, but it’s definitely going to be hard to top this one

Certain characters will marry each other in the ending of the game if they reach A support with each other
Some won't (usually if they are of the same gender) but it will give some nice tale about how they interact after the war.
Caspar and Dorothea, El and Ferdinand, Bernie and Hubert, Byleth and Linhardt.
I didn't know that happened on my first playthrough, so I was casually reading through them and seeing "...Petra's husband, Linhardt" caught me off guard.

I put that or Indomitable Will cause you get the same notes in both but if you ask me I'd say Fódlan Winds because you get to hear it much earlier and much more often (in fact if you play BL you won't even hear Indomitable Will unless Claude gets attacked in Ch 19) so I'd say it's easier to remember Fódlan Winds. The pacing here does resemble Indomitable Will more though.
The tearing through heaven rendition is giving me serious xenoblade 2 vibes.

At his side every step of the way was his right-hand advisor, Duke Felix Fraldarius. Their lifelong bond grew so strong over time that, when Dimitri finally passed, it is said that Felix's grief was more potent even than the queen's. The stories of their lives were passed down to future generations as chivalric tales that rivaled those of Loog, the King of Lions, and his sworn friend, Kyphon.
I love this ending. Despite the tsundere attitude Felix displayed, I truly believe Felix never stopped caring for Dimitri. I think that was why he was so angry sometimes. He hated that even if Dimitri was not the same boy he spent his childhood with, he still cared for him.
Felix pretty much followed in his father's footsteps. That's what makes this ending beautiful to me
That's because despite how much of a jerk Felix is too everyone, his A-supports with all of them shows that he cares about them. What he doesn't like is how idealistic they can be (like Ingrid with Knighthood) but they're still his childhood friends that he wants to protect at all costs.

what's certain is that Felix has always cared deeply for Dimitri. what is delightful to think? what interpretation of this paired ending is particularly lovely? well, perhaps after all they've been through, they become even closer than they were in childhood. your honour, Felix's grief was more potent than the queen's - and what is grief, if not love persevering? I conclude that the Duke Fraldarius, the king's right hand advisor, is Dimitri's beloved, and the King himself is beloved by Felix.
I reckon that Felix and Dimitri had known each other for so long and also been through so much together that they were like brothers.
So when Dimitri died it was so devastating for Felix that it would have been quite hard for him to handle.
Don't forget some siblings relationships aren't always close and warm but they can improve with time.
Back after 5 years, I was 13 and as a week one player this hits me with tons of emotions, last 5 years were hard, I moved 4 times and dealt with bad depression, I’m 18 and still struggling but getting by with my family and this game that’s always there for me 💙 everything will be ok for sure

I love reading the epilogues for all characters, they make me proud of all my students for surviving the war. But the few that are actually rather depressing just stay with me, mostly Felix and Sylvain’s. I’m mostly reminded of specifically their ending whenever I listen to this theme.

I've never played a Fire Emblem game in my entire life. My fiancé is a huge fan of fire emblem games, but he didn't have a switch and pestered me to buy the game and try it. I caved in, put 800+ hours into the game and it became one of my favourite video games of all time. I want this song to play on our wedding so i can bawl my eyes out like I did the first time I heard it

i finally beat all 4 routes the other day and this game has the most satisfying endings ever, i'll never get sick of it. i loved hearing some of the battle themes intertwined in this song, i wish more games did stuff like that 😭

This is the first Fire Emblem game that I have ever beaten and boy did I pick a good one to beat. When that theme came up with the ending talking about everyone, I was ready to sit down with the next class to see if I could do better.

I think it's super fitting that the Edge of Dawn doesn't play in this song despite it being fe3h's main theme. It shows that Fódlan's new dawn has finally arrived. That makes it pretty sad when The Edge of Dawn (usually) begins afterward, since Edelgard (usually) is dead before dawn arrives.
There actually is a motif from *The Edge of Dawn* at the very end; the song ends on a variation of the main verse (the same motif is used in *Life at Garreg Mach Monastery* and *Funeral of Flowers*)

Ok, the romantic endings are good, but can we just talk about how great the platonic endings are? Sylvain and Felix (both endings) and Mercedes and Jeritza have some of the best endings in the game. Sylvain and Felix literally die on the same day in their Azure Moon ending, referring to their battle dialogue where Sylvain asks Felix if he remembers when they were children and they promised to die together. It was so well written.

My personal favorite

The people adored the pair: Felix for his fierce determination, and Annette for her boundless cheer. Years later, Annette threw herself into songwriting, and with the support and encouragement of her husband, she produced melodies that remained popular for generations. The lyrics became distorted over time, however, and the original meaning of the music was lost.
That's the paired ending I always spend renown to lock in with the Wayseer in Abyss, regardless of what route I'm on. Their non-AM ending where they both live happily as teachers at Garreg Mach is great too

While i'm proud and also sad of how the students goes on to each of their own life from now on, i really wish there's one extra ending scene like sorts of farewell party in the cafetaria at night or something before this section.

I wanted to see that Golden Deer feast
i like to think they keep in touch still.
When i was 22 right out of college i got a job as a high school teacher, but only worked there for 3 years till i got offered a higher paying job. Even though my time there was short i truly did enjoy that job and loved all of my students. This game brought back memories of those kids. When the final scene plays showing how their lives ended up it genuinely choked me up. I know it's weird, but that's just how it happened. That was almost 10 years ago now and all those kids are grown up and most of them have started families as have I. Best part is that after a few years i caught up with a lot of them and now i keep in touch with them as often as i can. I'm not Byleth, but we both know the pride in seeing our former students succeed in life and 2:44 really captures that feeling for me.
I totally get it. I may have only ever been a TA, but helping those kids, it was meaningful. This game reminded me of those days, and the endings left me wondering how those kids are now. They should all be adults, which is a weird thought...
I absolutely LOVE Lorenz and Claude's paired ending. It brought such a massive smile to my face. I salute you FE 3 Houses. Thank you for bringing much joy to our lives!

That Azure Moon ending where male Byleth becomes the Anime Pope and marries Linhardt, giving all of the Church's more... antiquated members a collective heart attack...
My favorite part of this is how Dorothea is "Mystical Songstress" if she's not married and "Devoted Heart" if she is.
I always feel so proud at the end here because like all my babies were so successful and I love them so much

I can just imagine a piece of fan art of Edelgard, Dimitri, Byleth and Claude standing outside the Goddess Tower with the main lords from previous Fire Emblem titles such as Marth, Alm, Sigurd, Seliph, Leif, etc. standing behind them as the iconic Fire Emblem theme kicks in.
I can just imagine Dimitri and Ephraim becoming great friends since they both wield lances.
This whole song is amazing, but I love the Chasing Daybreak part the most. It just sounds so triumphant and powerful and makes me think of my Blue Lions!

I was very disappointed by fates as I found the story to be very lackluster. However this game feels like a breath of fresh air. The story is awesome in all 3 routes and the replay ability is insane. Amazing game and one of my favorite games

3:00 onward gives me chills, this was my first FE game but I recognized that familiar tune of the main FE theme from Smash. It felt like everything came full circle, and made me feel nostalgic for a game from a series that I was only just beating for the first time

I just finished my final run of FE3H (CF maddening) after putting like 500+ hours into 3 houses and gotta say it was a fantastic game. I never had the courage or time to do a maddening run before and im glad the last act could be alongside my Black Eagles (And Felix, Yuri, Hanneman, Mercedes, Lorez, and Constance.) Will always hold this gem close to my heart

-Dedue and Shamir became partners and both fell in love

-Despite being commoners, Ashe and Mercedes became the Lord and Lady of house Gaspard while baking each other sweets (Which was Wholesome as hell)
-Sylvain managed to sweet talk Dorothea into marrying him, being heads of House Gautier together
-Linhardt and Flayn pretty much does the "Expirament"
-Petra ruling Briggid while Cyril became a Church priest that expands to Nuvelle before marrying each other
-Lorenz and Marianne went to rule House Gloustcer together and remembered as something Lorenz didn't vision he would be remembered as
-Leonie and Raphael started living together
-Ignatz using Lysithea for one of his greatest art pieces
-Catherine rejecting Seteth only to later have their blessing by Rhea for marriage
-Hanneman and Manuela were married........and that's pretty much it for them
-Constance regained House Nuvelle's name and both married and died together with Yuri
-Balthus and Hapi fucks up more of THSITD
-Caspar goes on a journey for self discovery
-Alois becomes a better captain then Jeralt
And Byleth becomes the Archbishop while his wife Annette became a guest speaker at the School of Sorcery as well as nearly causing kitchen explosions that Byleth had saved her from.

Petra had Brigid declare independence and later became allies with the Empire while founding their own Knights of Seiros named the "Blue Sun" in honor of her and Ashe's love
Ferdinand and his wife Marianne brings prosperity to not only their territory but also throughout the Empire, a bronze statue of Marianne is said to locked away for all of eternity
Through raising an orphanage, Manuela learned that she doesn't need a man to find true happiness
Lindhardt saved Lysithea from the curse of having two Crests and lived happily as commoners
Raphael was able to help build confidence in Bernadetta resulting in her being a better governor of Varley territory, it is rumored that they married
Felix and Ingrid both abandoned their houses to become mercenaries then later raised a family as farmers
After dispatching TWSITD, Jeritza is said to have disappeared, never to be heard from again
Byleth and Edelgard ensured everlasting peace to the Empire and often leaves the palace to enjoy the world that they had created, no one but them knew how they spent those private moments together

it's a bittersweet song. you feel proud of each of the units success stories after the war ended but also think about the units who unfortunately died in classic mode.
When you listen to this before your Graduation 🎓 😭 it was such a fun and annoying ride. But it will always be missed. CLASS 2020

While I’m excited to start a new Fire Emblem Journey in Elyos, I am sad that we’ll say good bye to Fodlan. It’s lore, story, characters, and voice acting are some of the best in modern Fire Emblem. We even got a Warriors spin off which was a pleasant surprise. The years of discourse between the lords and the salt that people felt in Byleth’s reveal in smash is some of the most amusing moments in this era. I am so happy that more people were introduced to the franchise and I hope Engage will be another great entry for newer fans and veterans.

Bernadetta's struggle with anxiety made it difficult for her to take over as the head of House Varley. She became so overwhelmed that when Yuri chanced to visit her domain, she literally grabbed hold of him and refused to let go. Baffling as it was for Yuri at the time, this peculiar state of affairs lead to marriage. The commonfolk were initially perplexed, but over the years they became grateful for Count Varley's surprising husband. His presence kept her calm and allowed her to deal with her people more frequently and easily. As a result, her talent for governance blossomed and her rule was widely celebrated.
High School for me has ended, I graduated on May/19/2021. Now, the first phase of my life is over, time to enter second phase, wish me luck and everlasting fortune!
The absolute joy and satisfaction at getting female Byleth's ending with Dimitri, Sylvain and Felix's ending, Mercie and Annie, Ashe and Dedue. I was so proud of my lions and after finishing my GD run, I just couldn't choose the BE and went back to my lions instead. I love them far too much to ever betray them.

I played blue lions as my first route 3 years ago but reading this comment reminded me that I think I got all of the exact same pairings in my first run! Ended up being the ones I kept gravitating back to every time afterwards 😅

The funniest ending has to be between Bernie and Hubes, real talk: "The marriage between Hubert, Minister of the Imperial Household, and Bernadetta, leader of House Varley, was so surprising to the public that it was much talked about even outside of political circles in the capital. Bernadetta took the opportunity to survey the far reaches of the new Adrestian Empire, and in her absence, Hubert took well to the management of Varley territory. They proved to be an astonishingly good match, working together to protect Fodlan from the shadows. It is said that they showed their affection for one another by wearing matching embroidered flowers."

What a fantastic game about the atrocities that war forces us to commit. I've started a replay of it and I'm scared to get to the second half and experience that alllllll over again.
This was the first FE game I finished....I was not disappointed. The BL route made me cry multiple times. I fucking love Dimitri’s growth. He’s great to me.
