    How I wish the adoption process could be faster for these babies…and their new families. I feel it might be less traumatic on the babies if they were younger.

    • @christinecarlin3488
      @christinecarlin3488 6 месяцев назад +2

      I absolutely agree & have wondered why they can’t be adopted earlier. Around 18 months or so, they are more easily traumatized. Does anyone have any idea why this earlier adoption process is not done?

    I love watching these adoption videos and thank God that there are people like the Cary family that find a place in their heart to bring a little life into their world and love her and take care of her. I wish I had been brave like that when I was younger and was told I could not have children. At that time people were adopting children and the birth mother or her family would change their mind and take the child away and I just couldn't fathom that happening so I didn't adopt. I should have been brave. I wish I had.

    @joanwoods7740 5 лет назад +45

    You are a great mom. I really love this video. I don't agree with some of these comments about the nannies not hanging out. They should hang out. It's an easier transition for all involved. Taking the baby back to the hotel for the night then going back to see the nanny the next day, and repeating that for a few days, shortening each trip is less traumatic. I've seen videos where the new mom just snatches the kid and leaves. Not good. Although the child will not remember the day, but that kind of anxiety will remain throughout his or her life.

    • @donnadee1966
      @donnadee1966 3 года назад +3

      That has to be such a tough call to make. In most of the videos I have seen, the handover is relatively quick, and that can be hard. I also see some families go back to the orphanage to visit and I wonder how the child processes that... perhaps it is a very individual thing.

    Lynne Marie - how hard your comment sounds about diapers and weaning. I’m sure you didn’t mean to sound so severe bearing in mind that theses little ones have all come from orphanages where yes ,the careers do a wonderful job catering for the children’s basic needs and caring for them but they haven’t the time or resources to deal with each individual child to make sure they are all toilet trained and weaned by a specific age. In a loving ,caring family this is a natural part of raising your child and the parents have the time and the patience that is needed for this. Also one has to remember the trauma these little children go through when they are taken away from the only careers they have ever known and put into the arms of total strangers who don’t even speak their language and who do things in a completely different way to what they have been used to. They must be very scared for a while until they realise that their lives have undoubtedly changed for the better.I wouldn’t be worrying about diapers and feeding until they were happy and settled in their new homes- the child’s comfort and happiness has to take priority here.

    It doesn’t matter the age. The looks, the smells of their new parents plus their energy. The babies see and feel those, too. All so different. I’ve adopted 11 of different ages from seven weeks to 17 years old. It’s just traumatic but so worth it!

    • @spiralrose

      Thank you for acknowledging the trauma that comes with adoption.
      It isn’t a personal failure on the side of either first or adoptive parents.. it’s part of the journey.
      Knowing it, acknowledging it, and not judging it can help everybody get through it I think.

    One of the best adoption videos I've seen. She is so precious, so beautiful! It looks like she adjusted really well to her forever family after her initial fears! The majority of the time it is difficult intially for these sweet little ones to be removed from the only life they ever knew, and placed into the arms of strangers. (It is so heartbreaking to see them crying when they meet their forever family...they are so scared initially.) I wish Chloe & her forever family all the best! God Bless! ❤️❤️❤️

    • @hilaryc3203
      @hilaryc3203 5 лет назад +5

      As a guide, she also can act as interpreter between them. I don't know what school of logic taught you that it's better for the nanny to just drop the child and leave. They (not "it") are the only family those little ones know and ripping them away is greatly traumatic for the children. Letting go gently is kinder, and more loving, and even at that these children go through grieving processes that are heartbreaking. Most adopting parents would tell you that it's a long emotional road until the child has recovered from the trauma of their past.

It's heartbroken to see their little faces. I raised 2 boys and their every cry was attended. They smiled and were excited every time when they saw me. I am so happy for these deserted kids to have a permanent home that they will be loved and cherished.

    These children don't ask for this. Why are they treated this way. Taken from their country and culture far away to another country because the biological parents have these children and give them up and never know what happens

      It's not what's best for the parents It's about the children. If the parents give their child they don't deserve to know
