Hey Conner I really appreciate your documenting Sophie's adoption and sharing it publicly. That being said I do hope you know Sophie herself is going to have many questions about where she came from, as all adoptees do. So nice for you to describe her start as cold, bleak, and what an overall hell she lived in. Seriously? You need to look up Romanian orphanages of the 1990's because that's what you're describing and not the children's home Sophie where Sophie was cared about and for. The adoption service your family used takes a tour of the "finding place" and orphanage, why didn't you include that portion? Maybe because the nannies are incredibly kind and even cry wondering what's going to happen to the baby they loved and cared about. International adoption has its issues and if you want to know bleakness look into America's second chance adoption with few checks and extremely shady people adopting children. Sophie was not institutionalized as she would have been if she came from the cold unloving hell hole you described. I'm sorry and I'm keeping in mind you were 18 at the time of making this video but PLEASE for your sake and more importantly Sophie's don't say she came from a place where no one cared about her. She was loved then and this is why she's able to love now.
I taught children diagnosed with Autism and I saw many things, if all children were loved the way Sophie is loved the world would be a happier place. What a special family.
Thank you for sharing this!! I installed a cable box at your house yesterday and was given this information. I know it was an act of God. I was at the house for a very short time but felt the blessing of God all day long. God bless you all. Praise Jesus!!!!
As an adoptive mother of a special needs son, this touched my heart so deeply! These children’s love is so pure! Bless you and your family for carrying out your calling! May God Bless you for all of your days!
We can't jump to judgement about the parents' motives and reasons for leaving this precious one. Perhaps they loved her very much and were brokenhearted to leave her. Most people in China have no way of paying the medical bills of a child with special needs. They did the only thing they could to give her a life where her needs would be met. My heart breaks for these parents. I have three children from China, and I wish I could tell their birth parents that they are loved and cared for and safe. I'm sure they wonder every day.
What a ray of sunshine is this China Doll..she appears to fit right in and thrive in this large Loving Forever Family ..Bless you and your new family, Sophie 💕..your narrator big brother is inspiring ..moi, Canada 🇨🇦
this little girl crying her sorrow and dispair is very movingthis little waif has not had a good life so far then she is among st the love she has never had and look at her now happy smileing childfull of love for others and enjoying every day of her existance. bless her soul.
Oh Sophie baby! You are so loved by not just your family, but all the people who watch your video. It's so easy to look at your darling little face, and want to hug you so much. You are going to have an amazing life, with people who was just waiting for you to come along. This was always the plan. You are safe with your family baby girl. Bye bye sweetheart💝💛💙🧡💜💓💝
Sophie is adorable...how lucky she is to be part of such a wonderful family. Looks like she made a lot of progress since she joined you - she had a pretty pronounced foot drop? Wishing you all so much happiness!
Sophie is such a beautiful & adorable little girl. I'm so happy she is now with a loving forever family. She deserves it as do all the orphans still out there without parents. It is so scary for them when they meet their forever families, but I'm so glad she adjusted so well to your family. She is having a great & loving life now. No more orphanages, doubts or lonliness for this little angel anymore! God bless you for giving her a wonderful life and hopefully you can keep posting updates. ❤️❤️❤️
Now Sophie has a blessed life and home of her own. China Doll is in the home of angels. She is adorable and I pray she never knows the story of how she ended up in an orphanage. To painful for anyone to bear. . Love her smile and those pig tails. Thank you for sharing her story and for giving Sophie a wonderful life. God Bless you.
I love the 2 videos of the 2 young girls being adopted!! Just warms my heart and had me in tears! If I had the means to adopt I so would!! I only have one daughter and would LOVE to have more!!
It's really sad to see how unhappy she seemed when they first met Sophie now all you see is smiles 🙂🥰🥰 I hope she is a wonderful life in America with this family. God bless you Sophie
That’s funny, because my little sister is coincidentally named Sophie I named her Sophie and then my grandma, my dad and her mom got to decide her middle name Elizabeth I got to pick her first name, at least cause I am her older sister after all we are half sisters. I also have a half brother Jeffrey Mark.
READ THIS POST: I would advise the parents of Sophie to massage her legs, and spine from the nerve below the back of her skull just above the top of her neck to the sole of her feet with ginger oil and olive oil for anointing. 3 times a day with prayer to God of Jesus for healing. The oils are powerful healers for it will diffuse into the nerve system to kill viruses that hide in the nerves.
This is far too virtue signalling for me … very LDS … a great video but for the intermittent lecturing by a teenager…. Sorry. I wish Sophie the happiest of futures. She’s blessed to be wanted & loved. 🖤 x
I would adopt them all if I could. Every child deserves being loved.

I don't agree. To me it seems like child collecting when they choose away a child that needs them even more than healthy children. That's weird
Oh my goodness. The tears are tripping me. What wonderful people. It makes me feel so humble.
I love hearing Connor narrate. He’s such a great kid!
Sophie is gorgeous with a beautiful happy way about her! She deserves a family like yours!
another comment to see the sunshine of her smiles as she realizes these people love her and are ice to be with her smiles are like sunshine.

Great story, and it looks like it was professionally filmed. What else would you expect from a remarkable young man like Connor?

Those workers in the orphanages try their best they cry when they leave so they have done a good job looking after her up to this point

it is truelly hard to watch this little girl sob her heart out in genuine fright and terror knowing its the best day of her life.

We were adopted by God ( chosen) . Which you are doing the same . You are being doers of the word not just hearers only .
You are a great and good and nice family
The sound on this video cannot be heard and understood clearly, so that probably accounts for the lower ratings.
Beautiful story, jus wondered why Wyatt didn’t come too?
Congratulations on adopting Sophie that’s a funny coincidence my half sister’s name is Sophie and my half brother’s name is Jeffrey
God bless you all and keep you save all times, in Jesus Christ we live and give . From Germany have you in my prayers
Hi, wouled you give me your e-mailadress? I like to write you what God put in my heart. Thank you
Che classe ha questa mamma, masticare chevingum!!! Molto maleducata

Hi
W elope you Sophie
Hope this young man's hubris has ramped down a bit.
Way to old for a bottle
Knock it off. You clearly have no idea
The mother doesn’t look very happy
She just looks tired. Why do you want her to be unhappy?
This is far too virtue signalling for me … very LDS … a great video but for the intermittent lecturing by a teenager…. Sorry.
I wish Sophie the happiest of futures. She’s blessed to be wanted & loved. 🖤 x
Virtual signaling? Its a gotcha day video and there is no teenager lecturing. What in Gods name is your problem
Smh 🙄
Deberían poner letreros en español para los que no hablamos inglés ni chino
The transformation of these children always overwhelms me. Sophie is a beautiful child you guys are awesome. 💓🌺
Beautiful new chance for them to live a whole new life with love..jx
