- Teotihuacan: City of Gods released in 2018 and amassed both critical acclaim and a fan following. Over the following years, expansions and promos have been released, adding to the original game. Now, for the first time, all of that content has been collected together in one box and given the "deluxe" treatment. How deluxe? The pronunciation of the game… is not Tayotee-Walken lol. It’s Te-o-ti-hua-can. Or Tay-oh-tee-hwa-khan, with an equal emphasis on every syllable.

Not sure if you guys have looked at the campaign page preview, but if you’re a fan of the game, the “beauty pack” is quite underwhelming. You’re missing out on a ton of stuff that is in the deluxe pledge and all-in pledge. Also, if you like the new player boards and game boards, you can’t get those unless you get the neoprene versions which cost an additional €60. They’ve said that they are not offering the dual-layer player boards as an add-on. You have to pay extra for the promos that come in the deluxe base pledge. Basically, if you’re a fan of the game, and you get all the add-ons to try and get what’s in the all-in pledge, you end up paying almost the same amount, and you’re still missing out on the dual-layer players boards.
As a fan of Teo, I was excited when I heard about this kickstarter. Sadly, Board & Dice has really let me down.
I haven't seen the preview page myself. We'll have to see if any of that changes prior to the actual launch. It might be tricky financially to offer all the upgrades without it escalating to nearly the ALL-IN price. I'll take a look when I can.
@@meeple Yeah, I can understand that they can’t satisfy everyone. I do wish they had a reasonable upgrade either to the deluxe base pledge or the all-in pledge. As it is, current owners don’t have a great option in my opinion. Maybe they’ll make a change before the project goes live.
They definitely need to do the bags. Not only is it great for storing, it is also very practical for set/breakdown and shuffling the tiles. Cuts the time drastically.

My god, I almost can´t handle all these amazing deluxified games coming out. We have Castles of Burgundy, La Granja, Rah and this one. My wallet is taking a beating for sure.
Gosh I know what u mean. Does RA really worth the deluxe? I want to get the game. But not sure if I should fork out the extra $100 to pay for it.

What all does it have? It have all all.
From what we've heard this offering has everything that's been released to date, plus more on offer. ALL the goodies will be revealed once their campaign goes live.

We did not get the chance to play it solo, but they’re supposed to have all new solo rules included with this.
