Great tips! If you're going to watch premier padel as a beginner or intermediate player I would also add: watch the men's games for entertainment and watch the women's games for actual tips or tactics you can apply to your own game! Just like us mortals, the women can't just smash out every lob from the service line (although I would kill for Paula's kicksmash) so they have to patiently build up the point with actual, solid padel. Way too many people watch the likes of Coello, Tapia and Galan and think they need to smash the ball with raw power after 3 touches in the rally.
Always a half hour early. What an amazing opportunity to loosen up and get into a good calm and focussed mindset. This early arrival gives one a definite step ahead!
THIS approach connecting tips to pro/famous players made a click in me and feels much more relatable and connected to the sport, i think connecting like this could take your channel to the next level.
Thank you. Well.: on the one hand, I cannot use any of the footage, which would make it much better. The players also do stuff that we as mortal padel players should never ever do. Sometimes it is interesting and we should learn from them
@@OtroNivelPadel Very true too, we shouldn't want to copy everything because there's a huge difference between their level and ours, but most things can be useful to players in every level. You should clarify and guide players in that regard. But yet, to me it felt more relatable including them in your videos.
@@OtroNivelPadel Also, maybe you could do a post tournament analysis of both finals talking about what were the key tactical/technical/psychological aspects of each player's game, to stay on top of what's going on in the sport and also bring people in to understand the game and the players more, and expand the reach of the sport and your business. You could use Padel Intelligence's stats too. And again, it's all on the basis that it feels relatable. 👍🏻
I liked all of your tips, you are a very good observer. Paula was better than Claudia at Rotterdam's final, but in Valladolid Gemma and Claudia did a great job after Rotterdam to counteract what you mentioned on tip #6 , Claudia was way more agressive punishing Ari's lobs and that made her the best player at the final.
Hello Sven. Once again a fantastic video, thank you very much. Extremely valueable tipps, clearly explained, and useable for everybody, independent from the level. I find so many similarities to my and my friends game and I can fully confirm the problems you describe. Pushing harder after a mistake, not talking to each other, or losing the game with low first serve percentage, that's all so well known. The one I liked the most was "focus" and being at the court at least one hour before the match starts. Just arriving on time a rushing into the match always made me lose the first match, even against weaker players. At least that is something I changed already 🙂 So, I am very much looking forward to watching your next videos. Hasta luego Peter
The point about voice indications is so important that I think one cannot stress it enough... In fact I am almost always have to tell my partner "don t tell me anything", because at the lower levels amateur players who see pro player talking in their matches would try to do the same but they do it basically shouting in panic and that is very stressing as you say, and even worse than that they tend to shout just before you hit the ball, and at that point you have already committed to a shot and all they are doing is distracting and disturbing you... I think the last update on when the opponents are when they lob you is BEFORE the ball bounces.... do you agree?
Hoi Sven, the analysis you make about the service (tip 11) isn’t completely clear. Do you mean they HARDLY make mistakes on their first serve, or do you mean they can’t stay in control of the point when they have a second serve? And then after when you say take less risks if you’re below “80%”. Does that mean; +80% first serves -> take more risk on that first serve?
It can be both. Because the statistics did not mention their serve%. So either they did not play any second serve. Or they made a lot of mistakes when they played the second serve. Which I think happend. So i mean both from the first to points. And you are correct about the last two points
Vamosssss

Yes! Very true!
That's what I tell my friends. Learn from women's game the strategy, shot selection and tactics. And don't try what u see in men's game.
Amazing stuff my man! Congratulations on 50K ❤
Thank you so much!

Yes! Really interesting how its a completely different match!

@minimoors ja speelt heerlijk!
What a contradiction… a dutchman saying he has to calm an lower his voice, sounds inpossible 😂😅
