Fairly normal for the not super popular mangas. They can’t let their grip slip. Just look at blue lock, it’s popular but still almost never misses a chapter
@@Couldnt_think_of_anything fairly normal for all new manga. break heavy series like op, mha, jjk started off dropping every week their first couple years. sakamoto days just went on its first break ever this year. as time goes on the weekly schedule makes it harder to keep pace, but almost every mangaka starts out trying to drop every week
Pretty normal for starter mangakas/manga. Although definitely not healthy. Just look at other series like Dragonball and Naruto that basically did the same for years I believe
People were saying it's the next demon slayer and by chapter 20 it was already as good as 10 demon slayer manga lol. I mean demon slayer really isn't a hard series to top
@@bloodnessx well I know demon slayer is insanely popular but that's all. it blew up thanks to ufotable's adaptation which despite having incredible production quality the actual quality of the series is still average to good at best
WHEN THE ANIME COMES OUT, WE WILL BE THERE. WHEN IT GETS A 40 DOLLAR SHOVELWARE GAME, WE WILL BE THERE. WHEN IT GETS ITS MOVIE, WE WILL BE THERE. KAGURABACHI STOOD THE TEST OF TIME. BACHIBROS FOR LIFE!!
Thanks to you Ronin, I actually got interested in Kagurabachi enough to pick it up after your first video on it. It had 17 chapters then, and I remember reading the final duel between Chihiro and Sojo and then just going "well, this manga is the love of my life now". Was enjoying it every Sunday since
You know this came out a few days before my birthday last year, and I still read it religously till this day. It has never dropped in quality and as I celebrate turning another year of getting closer to my death I pray this shit won't fail. Thank you, Hokazono, for the freest gift ever, and I'll be waiting for the anime announcement for season 1 to come out next year
I came across this manga less than a month ago, didn't see any memes or anything about it. For me, I was engulfed into this since the first chapter. I'm not a manga professional or a meta reader either. It's a great story and great characters. I'm simple. Lol.
Hakuri becoming a cold blooded murder in his intro arc is something that is insanely impressive to me 😭 that panel with him bringing the grenades into the auction and blowing the audience up is 10/10
Been a fan of the manga sense the first chapter even dropped. I absolutely FUCKING love it. It’s gotten to where I’m already re-reading the manga in a fun way by reading it with my homies. We’re doing a funny way of reading it by doing our own voices for each character. It really feels awesome to introduce people to this manga. Can’t wait to see the future of my goat Kagurabachi.
Hokozono is insanely talented. His first work and it already has two of the best opening arcs I've seen in any animanga (I've consumed over a hundred).
Wow bro, just wow, I remember in 2020 watching your what ifs, binging them everyday after school and loving every second, when your uploads slowed I knew something else was coming and seeing your growth from what ifs to these new videos is amazing. Thank you for every video you have released because each one is great
This manga continues to get better with each chapter. It's most likely just recency bias but I'm starting to think series could make top 10 potential for me personally
Not gonna lie I love the series and the plot is finally starting to pick up. The Enchanted Blades/ spirit energy system is kinda cool, and if it gets flushed out a bit more could make for some really complex and cool fights.
Kagurabachi imo is the ideal battle shonen manga in Jump that I’ve wanted for some time. Great paneling, great art, character centric story that has a very good story thus far, with very promising world building each chapter, and an already likable main cast that have had their moments to shine in the story already I can’t wait to see this community and series grow as time moves forward. Happy 1 year anniversary Kagurabachi
Kagurabachi is a bit more plot driven than character driven, the actual main important cast is pretty small, and characters come in and out of the plot constantly.
Honestly Kagurabachi Brasil is the only reason why I have any regrets not using Twitter (I'm only active on the reddit side of the community, and they are just as chill)
If I have one nitpick about Kagurabachi, its Hakuri having two sorceries. Without that, the heroes would have lost during the Sazanami Rakuzaichi auction. However, the entire arc with the Rakuzaichi arc was phenomenal in terms of characterization.
I mean the series doesn't pretend this wasn't strange though it treats it as an anomaly, and it set it up with the disappearing objects (foreshadowing) and the fact not a single Sazanami had inherited the power. Kagurabachi is based a lot in the recent tropes of popular 2010s shounen, so that seems taken from Yuno.
I feel like the pacing in this series has been perfect so far. Having the first two arcs at about 20 chapters a piece feels slower than the break neck pace of early parts of modern stories like JJK, Chainsaw Man, or My Hero while feeling faster than older stuff like Bleach or Naruto.
I’m loving everything abt it the art the world building the power sets and the enchanted blades the back story of chihiro everything is great abt it they have to make a season 1 like nowwwwww it is much deserved of an anime and i think it would be a top new gen anime
It's a good manga, I'm really happy that Chihiro ended up joining the Kamunabi since they're clearly not going anywhere. Might as well work together instead of fighting every week.
This manga is probably gonna end up feeling so special to me as the years go by. 1st of all, it's peak. 2nd, it's a manga I'm reading while in high school, so its gonna have that noatalgic value later. And 3rd, this is the first manga series where I've read it since the start. Series like Chainsaw Man I hopped on the bandwagon at some point during release, but Kagurabachi is the first one I was following off jump in the very early phases. And for that I'm probably gonna be pretty fond of it, even if the series has already hit it's peak and it's all downhill. But Hokazono is too builtt different for that
About a month ago I had never read manga in my life. I needed to know what happens in boruto so I quickly read two blue vortex, when I was finished I had no idea what to do with my shonen jump subscription, I found kagurabachi shorty after and read every chapter I could and now I read it every week I love this manga I hope they make it an anime soon
I avoided this manga when it had all the hype memes. But since JJK is ending I decided to give it a try this week and couldn’t put it down. And when Hakuri got that storehouse hollow mask I knew I’d be reading weekly from now on. The first two arcs were sick and I’m very excited to see where this third arc is going to go down. 🔥🔥🔥
About the color page / cover, I'd rather say Hokazono sensei is very consistent to the color palette as opposed to repetitive. He clearly dead set to the theme.

Man I was disappointed Phantom Seer was cancelled 😢. Either way I knew about the memes but I didn’t read it but a few months ago I would say maybe June I started to read and I never looked back I think I got hooked because of Sojo he was such a great first villian I was looking forward in the arcs to come 👍🏾
Some of the Kagura Bachi pages are so fire i dont like the caracter art that much but the perspectives and scenery etc are just soo good the attacks etc also are cool af
The store house arc was better to me than the sojo arc 😅 my favorite moment from the sojo arc is them talking like friends before fighting to the death
I thought the first few chapters of kagurachi werent that good personally. I read the first when it came out with no knowledge of the hype, then dropped it. Then i picked it back up after about 5 or so chapters were out. What hooked me personally was when the minor bad guy had turning point and decided hed like to live a better life, just to be killed. It was done in a way where i had hope for him, and they followed through with a sad ending to his story. Sojo was cool, but this is the first chapter to have hooked me
7:26 Nah, the fresh hatred panel still works, but for different reasons. He keeps that scar because he KNOWS that he’s not that kind of person, and if he doesn’t constantly remind himself, then he’d no longer pick up his sword to fight the Hishaku. He HAS to keep that scar, as a reminder to himself, otherwise his desire for vengeance will fade
