When they first released the mastercase, I thought all the "modularity" things were said to sell more and I never thought they would really do this much. Getting help from modders is a great idea and really makes the mastercase, the master case. Bravo Cooler Master, you did a good job there
If you got all this stuff when you ordered the case it might be cool. But given how I like to change things on the fly, having to order individual parts that I haven't physically played with would be a huge pain.
cooler master has the best after sales support, i even have accessoriesband spare parts for my 7 years old gladiator. time to upgrade thought to silensio series.
Been waiting for this video, thank Linus. I've been in the market for a new case a while but I want to make sure it's a choice I won't regret. When I saw the MasterCase (Pro) 5 I got excited but that didn't last that long because you couldn't really do much with it and I didn't fully believe in the fact that Cooler Master would support the case with new accessories. However, now it really seems Cooler Master will continue upgrading the case and now I'm seriously believing I've finally found a case worth the upgrade.
I love when companies use the community. It's basically a free work/idea force and knowing that the community wants it (because they created it) is what pushes sales. The only problem is getting the community to actually create new products.
User-driven modular design with vendor level QA sounds amazing. That is, if they can pull it off. I'd imagine many case makers will follow suit if the idea takes off (it certainly sounds exciting).
Which case should i get? - Corsair 400C - Fractal Define S - NZXT S340 I like compact, windowed, ODD-less cases with decent airflow and some 3.5" options. Possibly planning 2-way SLI.
Im actually excited for a 'modders market' I feel like that'd give so much back to the fans. I feel like it would give non professionals the chance to show what they can make for a case (:
Cooler Master impressed me with this series of computer cases considering how many options you have for standard use dont even mention custom mods , for some reason the accessories reminds me a lot to my thermaltake commander g42.
Really happy i bought this case! I have 5 case fans (Dont judge me) so my rig is pretty noticable. Those noise dampening panels are gonna be an instsnt buy for me!
That is hands down the best case on the market depending on the price. I'd be willing to pay upwards of 500-600 for a whole modular kit if it came with the window and all those accessories. This case is a life long case if you treat it right.
This Should be the future of all cases to come it would revolutionise the way people build PC's hopefully having only peoples imagination as the limmiting factor
I'd personally benefit from the gpu anti drooping bracket as I've just purchased the PowerColor 390 duel Devil 13 and it's HUGE n heavy... plus, it's support pole isn't what I'd call amazing...
I need your help! Which case should I get? - Corsair 400C - CM Master Case 5 - be quiet! 800 - Corsair 450D - NZXT S340 Please say if your suggestion isn't listed.
I have a S340 and I have to reccomend it. Cable management is fool proof, you literally can't fuck it up, it has a pretty small form factor for ATX, there's a dust filter, and imo it looks awesome.
If the CPU cooler is cheap, it may actually be a good option. There's not really any plain black cpu coolers around except for the offerings from bequiet.
Which case should I get? -Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition -Cooler Master MasterCase 5 Pro I need 4 drive bays so Level 10 is perfect for me, and it looks cool. But MasterCase looks awesome and probably going to have very cool accessories. What do you guys think?
Make an attachment so it has more optical drive bays, and maybe a sliding door panel at the front. Not seen any case yet that comes close to my Silverstone Raven RV01 and i wish someone would try...
+Dylan Ch'ng my schools computer science clubs has a ton of them because the school switched to virtual machines, we want to make a cluster at some point
Wasnt a fan on the looks of the first master case, but I liked the concept of the modular nature. The new one looks alot nice to me especially the tempered glass side panel, also while the cooler actually looks really damn nice i wish you had the ability to change the colour of the leds to suit a colour scheme
will Cooler Master sell the accessories for the MasterCase5 in Canada? maybe at retailers like CanadaComputers? I am really interested in buying a front panel that includes an SD card reader and more USB ports.
Im getting worried about the guy with blue shirt, he isnt breathing. 1:28
+shushant kumar That's the joke.
+shushant kumar AN poster?
+DigitalBerserk He looks stiff as a board, too...
Maybe he needs a massage?
+DigitalBerserk Who cares about that guy? If you pause the video you can see Linus isn't breathing either.
That cooler looks sick....
...For an air cooler
you are wrong.
kappa
+Kappa Agreed I am getting a chill in my pants while looking at that
Liquid cooler look superior and air look ugly imo thats why I don't want one in my case but this one actually looks kinda nice.
+Lukas Netzker why the fuck did it send it 2 times? -.-
+Kappa for a sec I thought you were me... I was like "I don't remember commenting on this!!"
1:33> Wow, I need to go to bed, took me a while to realise the 2 guys in the background were on a poster...
Same
I was like "WHY ARENT YOU MOVING?!"
+Kappa Lol
Same
hehehe saim.
Can't wait for Drunk Linus 2016!
mobile thumbs up
akaDragon Then Linus drops the $70,000 mother board because he did a thumbs up.
oh isn't he already drunk?
AA308A Humans are at least 70% liquid.
+Miniarts159 just change the video speed to 0.5

It's a fun case to mod, Thank you for the mention.
this case keeps getting cooler. i dont think any of us expected it to make it this far
If you got all this stuff when you ordered the case it might be cool. But given how I like to change things on the fly, having to order individual parts that I haven't physically played with would be a huge pain.
I like i how they dont just release a new case, but also afford you upgradability for your current case.
Props to you!
Honestly if they made a full tower version of this, i'd buy it in a heartbeat.
One of the best videos, the idea to allow modders to sell their own things through Cooler Master is fantastic
Coolermaster is going the innovative route.. I'm impressed!
That is by far one the greatest things I've seen today
It works very well, if you don’t like the idea of water , and you make sure you have the correct case, go for it. It’s quite and very efficient.
I've long wondered why air ducts aren't more of a thing in modern PC cases. Good job, Cooler Master.
1:09 best looking and elegant cooler thumps up !
This is great, thanks for the CES coverage Linus!
My favourite Tech Channel, you guys rock.
cooler master has the best after sales support, i even have accessoriesband spare parts for my 7 years old gladiator. time to upgrade thought to silensio series.

I'm so excited for the MasterCase accessories and modded accessories.
Have a mastercase, love it! Cant wait until i can get my hands on some of these parts.

I think it was Gatorade
+NavyBurger™ PhantomGlass
+ColaKaktus Whoosh
Cooler Master impressed me with this series of computer cases considering how many options you have for standard use dont even mention custom mods , for some reason the accessories reminds me a lot to my thermaltake commander g42.
I can just imagine the people at the both watch in terror every time Linus picks something up or opens something up.
That anti sagging brace I will definitely buy one of those (I only have very minor sag) but that's just awesome.
oh man, those custom parts are pretty exciting
Build It Beautiful guys, Build It Beautiful.
Yesssss. Shout out to Bill Owen. You go Linus.
It has begun, he's picking things up now.
okay cooler master is getting my attention again. I hope they keep surprising us but more frequent.
I'll be keeping an eye out on this
Really happy i bought this case! I have 5 case fans (Dont judge me) so my rig is pretty noticable. Those noise dampening panels are gonna be an instsnt buy for me!
Coolermaster is starting to win me over with their customization options.
Thank you Squarespace
Those cases are incredibly beautiful! I wish I could afford a machine like these!
Going in for 2016 linus! already uploaded 38 videos!!
CM thinking into the future. Awesome.
That is hands down the best case on the market depending on the price. I'd be willing to pay upwards of 500-600 for a whole modular kit if it came with the window and all those accessories. This case is a life long case if you treat it right.
if they actually do this Maler thing then GG Cooler Master GG
*maker
+Johannes Müller
GG dude
so happy i bought the mastercase pro 5!
I'd definitely be interested in the power supply shroud/side cover
Hope Everyone is having a good day.
I am actually thinking of upgrading my case to the master case 5 :D Great Job MasterCase ! :D
That air cooler... It's beautiful :')
This Should be the future of all cases to come it would revolutionise the way people build PC's hopefully having only peoples imagination as the limmiting factor
all this stuff looks fantastic!
That's actually pretty good... for those who don't want to mod their own case, but want a 'modded' case.
This is actually extremely cool.
I love the way you can hear Linus' voice getting steadily more tired with each video :)
I was looking at the guy behind Linus and I thought: Wow, that guy is the champion of relaxing. Then I realized it's a poster..
And suddenly I want to buy a master case. GG CoolerMaster.
I'd really like to see a handle accessory like the Storm Trooper.
Darn. I almost got the Master Case Pro but changed my mind. I wish I got it now.
I fucking love you Linus. Don't die.
almost broke that thing good job linus
Cooler master, you're my new fave.
Power to the modder... that moved me.
Go fullscreen
Type awesome
look at the timeline bar
i own the mastercase pro 5 and i would love the noise foam on my side panels and the diffrent front panel
I'd personally benefit from the gpu anti drooping bracket as I've just purchased the PowerColor 390 duel Devil 13 and it's HUGE n heavy... plus, it's support pole isn't what I'd call amazing...
I need your help! Which case should I get?
- Corsair 400C
- CM Master Case 5
- be quiet! 800
- Corsair 450D
- NZXT S340
Please say if your suggestion isn't listed.
+ComicPunch its your opinion they are all great cases that doesn't make sense anyway. What even are you looking for in a case
I have a S340 and I have to reccomend it. Cable management is fool proof, you literally can't fuck it up, it has a pretty small form factor for ATX, there's a dust filter, and imo it looks awesome.
+ComicPunch cm master case 5 definatly sice you can exoand until you like it :
My suggestion isn't listed.
+Neil Mc Cann But the master case also looks sick
What happened to the old-school glue and glitter methods? I miss those.
*bought the same case less then an hour b4 this video was released*
If the CPU cooler is cheap, it may actually be a good option. There's not really any plain black cpu coolers around except for the offerings from bequiet.
those 2 guys in the background would be great at playing "statue"
yea with the air maker 8 you can make it your own only if your case has red leds.
+Clifford Hankins And 172mm of HSF clearance :)
Which case should I get?
-Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition
-Cooler Master MasterCase 5 Pro
I need 4 drive bays so Level 10 is perfect for me, and it looks cool. But MasterCase looks awesome and probably going to have very cool accessories.
What do you guys think?
Was wondering when the custom parts were coming...
Finally Cooler Master!!!
You guys at awesome! I watch all you're vids!!
2:19 *There it is*
I sure hope the million dollar question is who sent Linus to CES 2016.
Make an attachment so it has more optical drive bays, and maybe a sliding door panel at the front. Not seen any case yet that comes close to my Silverstone Raven RV01 and i wish someone would try...
Are dampening materials really required for a quiet rig? I mean, noise in a PC are quite high frequency and just needs well sealed system.
Cool video. I liked the tech in it.
that duct or whatever remains me of the good old days of pentium 4 pre built dell and hp computer that features duct systems for the cpu
+Dylan Ch'ng my schools computer science clubs has a ton of them because the school switched to virtual machines, we want to make a cluster at some point
hey Linus wouldn't it be easier to Handel those things without having to worry about holding the mc as well. you should use lapel mics
Wasnt a fan on the looks of the first master case, but I liked the concept of the modular nature. The new one looks alot nice to me especially the tempered glass side panel, also while the cooler actually looks really damn nice i wish you had the ability to change the colour of the leds to suit a colour scheme
Keep it beautiful. Keep it safe.
Go to LMP AREA guys, WEE NEED IT
I def want that air cooler, the MasterAir Maker 8. Prob won't work with my A8-6600K?
I wonder what company sponsored linustechtips for CES this year?
Know which case i'm going for next...
hey linus when will the custom pieces/accessories be avaliable?
nice, case and i'm happy that they get more and more "addons" for it :) maybe i'll buy myself one of them :D
Linus is on fire attempting to break stuff.. 2:19
Was I the only one who was surprised when I finally realized the people in the back were a paper background?
So can we expect a matx version soon?
Reason for price: It's trans dimensional, sending excess heat to dimension x
will Cooler Master sell the accessories for the MasterCase5 in Canada? maybe at retailers like CanadaComputers? I am really interested in buying a front panel that includes an SD card reader and more USB ports.
0:33 Why is the fan spinning backwards lol
We need NZXT collab on this with their hue or just anything to rgb. Iighting.
I want to see LMG vs. MKMODS!
That's a sexy ass fan, can't wait for it to be released, colours go with my system as well
I'm hoping they make a mod case similar to BitFenix Prodigy M. Good mATX + Handle.
