We have so many options today. Her friend wasn't completely wrong either. You can dress conservatively and youthful at the same time. Proper dress is about finding balance. She just went too far. People who say appearance doesn't matter is a liar. You don't have to look like a whore, but you do have to look appealing to the eye. Is that all that matters? No, but it does help.
