Honestly dude up-air to up-air strings and then mixing those strings up with drag downs is SO satisfying

Fastfalls can actually be performed at any point after the apex of the jump, the apex is just when you become able to do it.
Just want to add a note for 5:38: In my opinion you should ALWAYS jab1 after a dragdown upair and react to the tech option because if you're really frame tight you can still Dattack to cover whatever roll they do and do another dragdown/upair/RAR Bair. You can see many high level greninja do that, especially Stroder who's godlike at tech chasing. So basically missed tech should always be jab locked so you can focus on techs only

Finally a good drag down video. The first one that came up didn’t explain anything in detail. This was great. Drag downs make you feel like you cracked a code or cheated. I love it.

Thank you for posting this I learned how to do it and I hit a DOPE combo on my friend who was playing Ken and it started at 81, the combo was Dash Attack, Dragdown Up air, Jab, Jab, Down tilt, up smash. And it killed. It was probably one of my most hype moments in smash

If you buffer a short hop up air, it usually won’t work even if you get the timing right!

before i found this vid, ive tried so many times trying to drag them down with his up air..but it keeps pushing them up XD..thnx man this vid helped
I'm not sure if this is true but if you miss tech in place or away then you can just dash a bit then attack
If they roll in then just do the same but backwards and you have every option covered

I've been struggling to chose either fox or greninja as a main, anyone know which has a taller skill ceiling?
So personally I think that Greninja is definitely harder to play effectively the reason being that he has basically no out of shield options and approaching with him is hard because he's more of a reactive playstyle character. It's really different. He also has lots of combo and kill potential, but it can sometimes be hard to close how stocks at higher percentages because your bread and butter combos won't connect. It's exactly why most people put him high on the tier list but you don't see too many results with him. A lot of it is potential. That being said, I think he's still DEFINITELY a great character and even though I do think he's alot harder than fox, he can still be played well. It's up to you bro, just know that if you play Greninja you always got your boy for the guides and tips 🐸👊🏽

Yeah, especially if they miss their tech. I've gotten ALOT of kills like that, but if they tech/tech roll be ready to punish or retreat!
There's something I don't understand about this: if you buffer the up air the dragdown will be too inconsistent, but will the combo still be true say out of a dash attack if you don't buffer it?

No only if you're at the Apex of your jump, the game won't let you rise up with one and bring it down at the same time sadly :/
Is it possible to do a rising up air drag down or it must be delayed ?
Nah bro sadly you cant do a rise one, but its still pretty quick to do it at the peak of your jump. If you mess up a drag down though and it turns into a regular upair, upair to upair can work and platforms help extend it even more :)
