What a great guide! Just got the game recently and decided to look up starter guides, and it's nuts how the ones I've seen are labeled "beginner guides" and make no mention of things you need to know when you begin. This guide ACTUALLY talks about first steps, and that alone puts it miles ahead of the others. Thanks for making this, it's been a wealth of information to me.
yes its a great guide if you can go back in time and such, but unless you have a time machine....this guide it useless now. need crystals, he mentions nothing, doesn't mention anything about how to use workbenches I could go on, but the point of a beginner's guide is to help new players, this video needs to be taken down and deleted, because it's so out dated it's completely useless..unless you have a time machine that is.
@icedfinngaming2743 I make videos for fun, dude. You can go off all you want about your perception of my obligations but look at the date of the video and use whatever info is still relevant. Im not responsible for videos getting outdated, it’s honestly inevitable with any game.
@@JazzysGames never played this game before today and everything you mentioned was very helpful despite the video being old. Some people just dont know how to keep thier unwanted negativity to themselves
I saw someone talking about it recently. It’s available for pc gamepass and it’s in sale on steam for 15 bucks. It’s definitely a lot of fun. Oh and it’s cross play if you got friends on console or vice versa
This is the best Beginner guide I've come across. It would be great if you could do something similar to make a tutorial of what keys do what and how to use the items that you craft. I am disabled and just starting out. The controls noted in the game are very few and don't explain how to use the items at all, but after seeing your video I now understand a bit better and can actually do some things in the game that I wasn't able to do before. You would be GREAT at making the greatly-needed tutorial for this game. Keep up the good work.
Followed your tutorial, dropped a copper key from a slime and I had around 15 copper locked chests. Opened one and got a gun that was doing 200-300 damage per shot I skipped the whole armor part and just ran in circle as I was gun & blazing the slime boss xD
ring of... rock? and ring of... stone? rings of rock and stone? like rockity rock and stone? Im i still going home without the rings of rock and stone?
At the time there wasn’t a ton of interest in the series so I put it in the back burner but I see it’s gotten more views recently so I’ve been considering a return. What would you like to see?
@@JazzysGames I just killed the first boss and I'm exploring pretty much now. Dickens of a time finding Tin. I'm scared to death of facing that second boss that runs around the entire map. I heard you need to use spikes to kill him.. but not sure how. So a video on how to kill the bosses would be awesome and the best way to find items. I didn't even know you could use the shovel to dig up items! I'll watch anything you put out to be honest.
I think the only things I didn't figure out before finding this was what to do with the gem, the water trick, and what is required for a NPC to move in. Thanks
I like the guide but, the farming part when you told to plant every seed that you can get. I remember doing a farm with my Lil-brother that introduced me to the game (I am watching a guide to play better with him so thx.) and in that farm I planted every seed that I had at the time... ... Then my brother told me that the root seeds are really invasive plants and must have their own separate farm because they would forever grow larger and longer. So to every one that is reading this comment, plant the root seeds in a separated farm area, you'll thank me later ;)
omggg. i finally found a proper tutorial for begineers!!! I just bought the game and am close to refunding iit because i felt lost playing it as a beginner and the discord community is not helpful at all..😭😭😭
I recommend taking the fighter background just for the sword. This game oddly doesn't offer you that easy first wooden sword like most games do, and the other background perks are pretty easy to come by, so that starter sword comes in clutch in the beginning.
another suggestion: u can fight the first boss easily by just crafting a shield and melee attacking him while quickly pulling out the shield right before he lands on you. I fought him this way using no armor
Just explore around the core, when you feel and hear the impact tremors, move around and see which direction has a weaker or stronger tremor. Then move towards the increasing intensity and you should find him np
Just bought this game, I spent 5 minutes at the very start trying to shoot everything because I chose a Ranger background and the bow doesn't break stuff and I didn't know there's unarmed attacks yet so none of the roots were breaking. Good times!
Walls and floors used to be separate items. I’m working on a new 1.0 guide! But also, crafting bridges from blocks is great for lvl busting your crafting skill!
Dude; you nailed it (😆). Wish I'd seen this before I'd started, but I'm still very early and I think I may have to start a new world anyway, as I stupidly accidentally spawned a Terraria boss in.... thought I was respawning the first boss... who is WAY tougher here in Core Keeperia (could be solely because I'm still very low-level, but I was genuinely not putting much of a dent with an iron shotgun I managed to randomly find). 😆 Regardless, thanks for the guide, and on to the next vid. Very helpful. 🙂
I swear as a terraria player, you just go to any other indie game and instantly see something, like the flower here in ck and monster meat in dont starve
Wait you're dutch? I've been subbed for a while and us dutchies usually have such a recognizable english pronounciation but I truly thought you were natively english.

Where do you find the copper chests? I have a key but no chest.
This game just dropped on XBOX GAME PASS and I'm really 'digging it' 😅
Thanks for the awesome guide! Tone of help 👍

for ROCK and STONE
This was an excellent guide! waiting for part 2!
Oh wow Jazzy is playing this? I would watch all your tutorials on this game.
I jumped in blind, played for an hour...then came here lol. So far this game reminds me of minecraft and terraria mixed together.
I really need to make a 1.0 guide, this one is pretty outdated!
Awesome guide, thank you so much.
This was a great guide, but incredibly sad that you didn't do a part two. Are you planning on doing part two?

What if you used glurch drop to spawn a new slime boss?
Hey, you should set the next video to be selectable after this video. Or have a link at the end. It will help the algorithm. And make you more money
I thought this game JUST came out?! This vid I just noticed is 2 years old! What the f?! Lol
Same here bro
It was in early access before
We need part 2 bruh
You didn't do a part two guide 😅
thankyou very much
But why do you need bridges when you can just put down dirt to go over water?

If you don’t care about looks, you don’t even need to make wood bridges, just place dirt on the ground.

You can repair broken items with scraps, you don't need to use up the resources.

Sword? I just bash enemies with my pickaxe.
I think its just worse for the durability

It is definitely outdated lol, I’m keeping it up mainly as a reminder to make a new one!
