Blooming Gel Nails & One-Bead Acrylic Application - Step-by-step Tutorial

Chisel Nail Art founder and artist David Hoang shows how to use Blooming Gel, a clear nail gel that is applied before your color gel design, helping your color gels spread, or "bloom."

Here are the steps:
1. Apply a thin layer of Black Diamond Base Gel over the acrylic nail. Cure for 30 seconds in an LED lamp.
2. Apply a thin layer of Blooming Gel. While the Blooming Gel is still wet, create your gel design. David uses a #2 Flat Chisel Brush and White Gel Polish to create his design. You will notice the white gel spreads evenly across the nail thanks to the Blooming Gel.
3. Once your design is done, cure for 30 seconds.
4. Apply a coat of Black Diamond Top Gel, making sure you cover the entire nail, sealing the sides, and capping the free edge. Cure for 30 seconds.
