There is a lot of primitive camping on the beach through Baja. Usually with no hookups. Most towns have RV parks. Loreto has three good size RV parks, Loreto Shores, Romantia, and Riviera. All have full hookups.
My wife and I will be driving down next month. Is tent camping allowed on this beach? Would like to meet up with you if you will be in the area for a margarita and some real estate advice.
Hi rigidmike, Yes tent camping is allowed on all of the beaches between Mulege and Loreto. I think it is a little more to camp (maybe $10-$15)??? We are still in the US visiting family now, but we will be back in Loreto in a few days. We aren't planning any other trips so we should be there all next month. Feel free to message us on Instagram or Facebook (links below) and we can try to meet up when you are in town.

Do you need a 4x4 to get to Playa el Coyote?
No, the road is passable in a small car.
