- The Western Angami Youth Organization today held a public rally against the murder of Late Kezhalelie Lawrence Miasalhou on May 18 by Neizosetuo Kire and Khrietsonyu whuorie which started near Naga Hospital Authority Kohima till DC Office and submitted a 3 point memorandum to DC Kohima. Angami Youth Organisation and General Secretary, Mezomia Mechü Kehou in their short speeches condemned the heinous act and urged the competent authority to deliver justice without delay.

I can feel the anger of the victim because one night while driving on the highway AG junction there was a white bolero who kept stopping after every few metres and driving slowly and when i try to overtake a couple of time he will start moving and block and will stop again. I kept honking and he got angry but somehow I escape. The next day I saw that same bolero doing the same thing in BOC. Maybe that's how they look for fights
This type of drivers should be reported and the law enforcing agency should also take action upto to the extend of canceling their driving license. I can feel your frustration as a driver myself.

Sadly the assault resulted in the death and it was their own tribe which is why the case has become big or else assaulting others happens and no one says a thing because these people protect/support their own people, they won't see who is right and who is wrong, family, clan, tribe comes first for them so if you intervene you'll be victimised too.
This needs to be changed from their end, protecting their own people when they are wrong, else, unfortunately this will continue.
I'm saying this from my own experience because I too was once assaulted but the perpetrator lied and his friends who were not even there during the incident said that I probably deserved it and that their friend never does such things in front of the law enforcement authority.

Naga Youngsters have become disrespectful towards their elders. Even if he/she is a min or a second older to someone, still then they must be regarded and respected as a senior or an elder. I'm a non naga but i lived in Nagaland for almost 10 years and according to my experience whenever there's a fight between two nagas people try to stop the fight..but what happened this time? there were many passersby and nobody tried to stop the fight?
i think it must have been a quick incident which resulted in the death of the elderly gentleman because the two youngsters were in their prime and thus very strong. so i guess passersby did not get time to seperate them it must have happened quickly

Exactly to the point
This news really came as a surprise for me, being from dimapur where driving is no easy task as 90% of the drivers drive with the ‘Motto: Moi eh first javo-laki’. Added to the taunting heat and humidity, followed by the free gift of the yellow-three-wheeler which comes from north-south-east-west-left-right-middle-anywhere-wherever-possible. So, kinda understandable if it had happened in dimapur because all of the said factors can cause the rush of blood to explode.( though by no means i encourage the murder or the violence that took place, but i guess you get what i am saying right #heat of the moment, men being men). So, from personal experience the news really came as a big surprise because when even i go for some certain works to kohima or visit family members. I often come across very patient car drivers, who would literally wait patiently as i turn my car around and what not. I often use to acknowledge to my friends and family about the people of kohima and their sense of car driving ethics.
So my point is, to have this incident occur from a traffic tussle is indeed really shocking. (P.s: #IMPO)
#RIP for the departed soul.
And as per the law that is laid out #Justice should be served.
P.s: People this indeed is a sensitive case so don’t drag in the tribal tagline, every house has rotten apples.

Sometimes I feel, in all seriousness, Dimapurians lack some brain function . It could be the heat that has led to this - evaporated a certain part of the brain. Talk about reckless driving, Dimapur motorists take the top podium quite effortlessly. Every time I take the wheel, it becomes an intense test of my grit, patience and spiritualism. It's a struggle for sure! I can be extra cautious while driving, but reckless motorists can still cause accidents and unfairly blame me.
The general attitude "AM LAKHA DIMPUR AHSI" doesn't help either.
