I just purchased the car back out of their estate. Factory chrome wheels, dual power seats, and factory fog lights are some of the rare options this LS has. Just installed 4 brand new white wall tires, all new pads and rotors, new upper ball joints, new AC accumulator, and a fresh LOF. This is a turn key Marquis!

These cars go forever. My buddy has over 700K on his Grand Marquis. The Panther Platforms are incredible...
Is the motor rebuilt?
@@jakethesnake4971 Not to his knowledge... Transmission was replaced at 450K. It was used for a limousine service for years. It's fun to just ride around in a car with that many miles ha.
The powertrain on the panther platforms should run for over 500,000 miles if you perform regular service with oil changes on the engine and fluid changes on the transmission and diff.
The beauty of those cars is they are so easy to work on and both used and new parts are readily available.
The limo and taxi industry in New York City loved the Town car because they could get a new block or new tranny so cheaply and just drop it in.
The other thing about the panther platforms is the abuse they will take. That's why both taxi and limo liked the Lincoln Town car and Mercury Grand Marquis. Plus that's why police agencies all over North America drove Ford crown vics.
I was talking to a cop about 15 years ago when metal prices were through the roof, and he said thieves were stealing manhole covers in the city where he worked.
Cops out and patrol in the middle of the night would not see the open manholes sometimes and hit them.
When a crown Vic hit one of those all that usually was required was to take it in for a front end alignment and possibly a bent rim.
However when one of their Chevy Impalas hit an open manhole the car was a write-off because all the light front end was bent beyond repair plus the front wheel drive tranny was screwed.
I have seen cops put crown vics over curbs without slowing down and just keep on going. Those panther platforms can take a real beating.
i'd rather drive this beauty than drive the 99% of the new cars available.
I wouldn't, I prefer getting 60 mpg.
You cannot beat the panther platform. Ford makes nothing comparable now to that luxury sedan platform.
I have four Panthers.
The first is a mint condition 1990 Grand Marquis which I inherited from my father. It has never seen winter driving or salt from day one.
The next is my 2003 Grand Marquis which has served me well as a daily driver and now since I have retired a winter car. If you look after those Panthers they will last forever. I get the body panels inside and the underbody oil sprayed yearly. The engine and tranny are serviced regularly, and that 4.6 l engine coupled to the four-speed tranny should last for over 500,000 MI.
Next up is my 2003 Mercury marauder. What can I say about that. It's a blast!
And lastly is my 2009 Lincoln town car. I feel like a million bucks when I drive that around.
Frankly I would rather cart my carcass around in luxury and comfort then save a little bit of money on gas and ride around in a tin can look alike shoebox.
@@c.d.7742 - very cool! you have a nice fleet of luxury cars. that 1990 has to be my favorite, i owned one and that was my first taste of luxury.
Last week i finally pulled the trigger and got me a 93 Fleetwood Brougham with 31,000 miles, super clean.
penny pinchers may save gas money, but they don't get the thrill of driving classic luxury vehicles.
All the best! see u on the road~
@@futureghost6932 Safe travels to you as well sir. Enjoy that Fleetwood because it sounds like a gem.
@@gregpeterman1102 if fuel prices are your problem, these cars will break you...most these beauties get under 20mpg...but I support fuel prices...oilfield life
Barely broken in Anthony! My dad always drove these Grand Marquis’s. He never traded them in, always passed down to a family member. Dad always had them “Crown” Rust proofed and always garaged. Great nostalgia.
Yes sir, the Krown rust proofing oil spray works amazingly well.
If you protect the body from rusting on these vehicles, the powertrain will run for well over 500k miles with regular maintenance.
You cannot beat these panther sedans for for taking a long road trip. Comfortable and smooth ride along with a huge trunk to put adequate stuff in.
Back during the 90s I was able to take extended time off work during the summer which allowed me to take three road trips with my father from here in the east to the West Coast and back. That was in his 1990 Grand Marquis which I still have tucked away in a storage shed in mint condition.
I am the lucky owner of this beautiful car. Thanks Anthony for delivering it to me!
Hello! Im trying to sell my 2007 Buick Lucerne Cxl to purchase a bigger body car. Any help for me?
How many miles are on it now? Also have you had to do any repairs?
Wow! What a nice looking ride. I normally don't care for the coach roof....but this color scheme really compliments each other. And those factory chrome wheels look like new. I hope you have many miles of quiet comfortable driving in your future. Congratulations.....you have a car that turns heads. It will lasts you many years.
Jake and Kieth when I bought this it had 89,000 miles now after a year I only have 89,950 This dealer sells quality cars. Plus no repairs since purchased.
@@SmokeyBandit97 is it your garage queen? And I ask this in the best way possible. That's crazy you put less than 1000 miles in over a year
$5995 is a steal in this market
About a year and a half ago I bought a 2007 Mercury Marquis. I love this car. it is silver and looks a lot like this one only no vinyl roof. I paid a bit more for it. It had all the service records from the dealer. One owner and about the same mileage you show. Truly a comfortable car with a smooth ride
I am a proud owner of a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis brought it with 76,000 miles for 3,400 just hit a hundred thousand miles a week ago
I love these panther bodies. All of them. When I was younger you would never catch me in a car like this. Now I'm in my 40's and I lust after these cars like I used to lust after corvettes etc.
Love it! Would like to see more of this price range. Keep up the great work. Give Papa Bear a hug for me..
Hello Joel hug right back to you pal. Papa 🐻 & Anthony
definitely more in this price range
Hi Anthony, I loved the 2006 Marquis and am a fan of it. They are very desirable in the Arabian Gulf... I own 4 Marquis cars: 1998-2009-2009 GSL-2001... These cars deserve respect. Thank you, my dear brother.
You arabians have great taste in cars!
After I got in a wreck and totaled my 2011 Crown Victoria LX, the dealer I bought it from rebuilt it, and it was exported to Saudi Arabia 🧐 Thought that was crazy.
Great car at a great price! You can tell she was well cared for over the years. Shout out to Papa Bear!! This will be a quick sale!!
Hi Scott what's up pal. Your right it will be a quick sale. Papa 🐻 & Anthony
I.bought a 2010 LS Ultimate from Anthony in September '19,,,,I've been to Florida seven times to date ,,,,absolute unending good service from the Grand Marquis that Anthony sold me,,...This guy is number one,...keep up the good work Tony

I OWN A 2008 LS EXCELLENT CONDITION SAME COLOR 128000 MILES AND LOVE IT.
I absolutely love this Grand Marquis Anthony if I had the room I would buy it hands down
Hello Anthony and Papa Bear......Another beautiful Grand Marquis!!
Well hello Christopher how are you. Papa 🐻 & Anthony
@@paulgozzo9178 Doing great,Thank you!! You guys bring me joy with all of these cars you purchase.
I have the 2009 Grandmakey ultimate edition and love it. Dark blue with the tan leather interior. Cost me near nothing in five years owning her. I did have the blend door actuator go on her. Just a $30 plastic part. No big deal.😂
Bought my 2003 grand marquis gs with 68,000 miles back in 2018 for $750.00 it has 128,000 miles on the clock know. Great car! Minor repairs 2 sets of tires summer & winter, 1 set brakes all around, battery, dropped the transmission oil, new radiator, oil changes, wiper blades ..... I call it my grandpa car!
Hey Anthony, Great Presentation. You’re living my dream. Always loved these Luxury boats and interesting cars. I got into Buying and selling with connection out of Maine who lived here in Mass. I loved bringing these back to life after a deep detail.
I'm in love with this car, my 99 Grand Marquis GS was totaled on 3-2-21. I was hit from behind sitting at a red light by a 17 year old kid that was more concerned with her phone. 🤬. Now I'm in a 2005 deville. I personally prefer the grand marquis over the caddy, even though I'm a Chevy Man.
If they still made the Panther Body Cars like that with minimal changes like a backup camera and Ford Sync I’d buy them.
Currently have a beautiful low mileage 2007 Town Car Signature Limited and love it. Prior to that had a 2007 GRAND MARQUIS LS which was damaged in an accident (not MY fault) also loved that car, but Town Car is a step up. These cars are the last traditional Luxury Sedans and with proper care will go on forever. Ironically I had a 93 Cadillac Brougham before the GRAND MARQUIS. Overall Ford was outgoing GM . Cadillac had several issues. Cadillac was larger. But GRAND MARQUIS and TOWN CAR are just as luxurious and comfortable. Your car with carriage roof and extra chrome trim is exceptional. As usual Your presentation is 👍
its beautiful Anthony. nice roofline!
I would drive that car in a heartbeat. There's nothing wrong with the style or anything.
Perfect for Florida
Love the seats and the analog dashboard!
Nice Anthony! Great looking Grand Marquis and super price.
I have an 05 of this car with same half anvas top but it’s black. The paint is quite the same. Love these cars
Car just beautiful!!!!👍🏾
Nice clean Mercury. Thanks for sharing
Very nice daily driver! Great price Great looking. Love the color
I had that exact problem with my A/C accumulator on my 2010 Mercury Grand Marquis , it rusted out and the A/C didn’t work, luckily now they replaced it and now it blows Ice Cold!
How much did it cost. I need the same for my 03 lol
@@jakethesnake4971 It costed me $365 with full recharge and bleed and labor and parts and everything.
@@thegamingangel5666 right on, thanks for the feedback
@@jakethesnake4971 No problem!
I had a Ranger and Ford used to wrap the accumulator tanks with insulation and it trapped condensation and allowed it to rust out. The Ford replacement had no insulation. If you have an insulated accumulator tank rip the insulation off.
The heat from the engine will help it dry off.
Anthony! Haven't seen your videos in a while I missed watching them, tell Papa Bear hello and that is a nice Grand Marquis, it looks just like a Florida car!!!
Hello Christian where have been, obviously busy. Otherwise I know you would be following along. Stay safe pal. Papa 🐻 & Anthony
BEAUTIFUL Daily Driver Anthony....wish I could buy it so bad. Hello out to Papa also. !!!! Have good day guys.... :)
Hello to you John. Papa 🐻 & Anthony
I had a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis Ultimate Edition until I traded for a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 which then traded for a 2006 Lincoln Town Car Signature in 2015 until I had an accident in October 2020 which then been shopping a car which a week ago I bought my second Lincoln which is a 2017 Lincoln Continental Reserve which I love. Nice history of this car,Anthony.
Gorgeous Grand Mah-Key Anthony. Had a Crown Victoria for a few years and there was no better car for highway cruising than that.
If you need a car how could you not buy this car.
Nothing like the Panther Platform
Great car and nice to hear how you got started in business.
Perfect commuter car. Large and in charge. Hmmm i almost want it. Decisions decisions
Just look at that top?? So elegant!
Just broken in, great price too!!
Ready for the crusher with those miles, these do not last forever like a Camry
@@gregpeterman1102 wrong, they last a ridiculous amount of miles

Cool deal to see you here bro. How's the Olds 98 coming along?
@@jsciarri it’s giving me a hard time. I moved on to another project for now.
Anthony, remember that Florida car from the east coast rust underneath beads of the salt water Atlantic ocean and the plastic parts break easily because of the constant heat and humidity.I worked on body shops down there for a few year and the clear breaks down easily because of the UV rays of the sun,we had to strip many hoods of newer cars because of it.
A very common vehicle to see in Metro Orlando!
nothing beats mid 2000 big body sedans , never to be made again
89 thousand miles, with another 400k to go!!
Sorry to keep butting in, but this car is f n GORGEOUS!! Man I need a bigger garage!!
One of the only sadans where the rear windows go all the way down
Another great car T
Magic eraser can get rid of alot of the blemishes but this car is amazing. Wish I could own one but in my city cars get destroyed by ppl parking and theft probably from cabbies...
2005 was the last year for the full Digital dash. That IS the upgraded dash for the 2006-2011 models. If it's not an ultimate then it's an LS Premium. Which could have still had air suspension, the wood steering wheel with audio controls and the subwoofer and heated seats, that car was just was not optioned that way. Still sweet and loved for sure. That lock on the full door thought 😆. Ford should not have been so cheap and should have kept the locking fuel door
Clean as the Board of Health!!!
Would like to start seeing the underside shots of your cars. Beautiful car at a very fair price.
This one came fro Texas so nothing to see
Gorgeous panther!
I love your videos....especially the ones about the Ford Panther platform series. It saddens me that they no longer manufacturer these fine automobiles. I just want to inform you for future reference the 'knockout' plate on the armrest of these rear doors is not nor ever was for an ashtray receptacle. On 2nd generation Ford Crown Victorias/Mercury Grand Marquis (1992 till end of production) rear ashtrays for the cars that had them were located just to the front of door latch on end of panel beneath faux wood trim. I cannot comment on the Lincoln Towncar but would assume it was of similar design. But all the later generations that had these had them up on the actual panel, not in the armrest. Also, from 2006 till 2011 all three Panther platform cars had the same instrument panel. Even the Towncar had the same display as the Mercury Grand Marquis GS or cheaper Ford Crown Victoria base model. It was a cost saving effort used to save money across all 3 divisions. They all had the analog speedometer on the left with a tachometer on the right. There was a small temperature gauge and fuel guage in between the two previously mentioned instumentations. And in center, above fuel/temperature guages, there was a digital readout for message /systems info. No matter which car or what edition they all were the same excluding the Ford Crown Victoria P71 Police Interceptor. It was just vaguely different. Hope you found this helpful.
Hey Anthony & Papa Bear, this is a very nice Mercury Marquis that has a lot of life left in it & will be very comfortable & perfect for an old fart like me that doesn't drive that much anymore. The price is right too!! Thanks for presenting this beautiful car. 👍👍🙂

Gorgeous automobile at a great price!!!
I've liked the body style from 1983 to 1987 then 1988 to 1991. I know in 1979 the Mercury Grand Marquis got complete design which stayed the same until 1987, the taillights were redesigned some in 1983 which my parents bought one in 1983 new which i loved the car which I drove before I had my driver license being living in a small town.
Slap some Vouges and 2 Time Gold Feet, Beat Alarm.. It's done. He has done all the hard work! I want it but you can beat Me to it, I am working now.
This is a Very nice car. I have a friend with 1 who is a Luxury Chauffeur. He makes about $4700 every 2 weeks...
Is it cash?
Love it Anthony.
Awesome luxury Car at this price range
omg you have an Intro now. You're like in the Big leagues :)
Absolute beauty. Worth buying over an ev
I don't know about 06 but 03 to 05 air ride was slandered in ls or higher. The ultimate edition comes with a split wood steering wheel and a digital dash wich they got rid of it I think in 06. Heated seats, moon roof reverse sensors were options on all models
That's a pretty reasonable price for a car like this. Now if you end up getting a DGGM '95 Impala like the one you were selling 2 years ago and it's within this price range, I'd be down there so fast to pick it up lol.
It is a low mileage car. Not a bad price
I admit I'm not a fan of the land yachts of back then. The largest car of that time that I would have owned would have been the Lincoln that came out a few years later when they went to the sleeker, personal sized, coupe with the very subtle retro touches. But this would be a rare exception for me. I just like smaller cars and better fuel economy. The price is definitely fair. And the history behind it is like so many others of memories of a car that was a part of the everyday lives of the people who owned them. And in your case, the people who also sold them. Life huh? ✌😉
The other Grand Marquis that was a 1990 is such a much nicer car. The interiors in these generations look so much cheaper than the older ones. I do love the dealer aftermarket top though. Wish the opera lights worked though.
Looks can be deceiving. Compared to a box body, the interior quality in this 06 Marquis is exceptionally better, particularly in the dashboard area. You never see these with dashboards that have inch thick cracks all across them, or door panels peeling off because guess what, the door panels on the box bodies are made out of CARDBOARD.
200 k more miles to go...what a gem....
Wish I could find a 06-11 p71 fully loaded with that many miles and price
Hey just thought I'd let you know up here in Portland Oregon they have a '06 I think 04 or 06 Cadillac eldorado with 75,000 mi on it for 1,500 bucks it's on Facebook marketplace
