This was one of the first times I genuinely laughed when reading the Holy Bible this parable in particular, because in my mind I pictured Jesus sitting down at the dinner table hosted by one of the pharisees and him thinking to himself in amazement how Jesus could just sit there with out performing the hand-washing ceremony required by Jewish custom.
And Jesus already knew what he was thinking and said "You Pharisees are so careful to clean the outside of the cup and the dish, but inside you are filthy, full of greed and wickedness!
Fools! Didn’t God make the inside as well as the outside? So clean the inside by giving gifts to the poor, and you will be clean all over."
I only laughed because I thought of the hospitality provided but Jesus knew different and spoke before the Pharisee even had a chance to speak himself.

Hipocracy- a sham life
There are Hippocrates in the church
But it is slander to say filled with same
That last part about the seminaries today is troubling but good to know.
I struggle with these issues , I have to take into consideration Jesus commanded us to not be offended and offer the left cheek when the right is smacked , also when we see our brother or sister fall we are to raise them up , I’m guilty of being a lawyer putting charge on the church that I can’t touch with one finger , as apostle Paul stated that there are to be no divisions among you , I have to overlook and admonish my brothers and sisters in love and prayer and ask that all pride be removed from me . Also Jesus stated that I am to remove the plank from my eye before I can remove the spec from my brother’s eye , you will be judged as you judge and it will be added to you double .
No divisions among brothers and sisters who adhere to the word . Remember the church is instructed to rebuke false prophets and false teachings. Also, Matthew 7 states that we must not have the same sin to admonish. The word is not only to edify but to rebuke .

Luke 12:Not Peace but Division
49 “I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! 50 But I have a baptism to undergo, and what constraint I am under until it is completed! 51 Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division. 52 From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. 53 They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.”
But I do understand what you are saying. We must not be quick to speak but judge righteously.

Tithing was an Old Testment temple tax and it was not limited to 10% could be as high as 1/3. of all of one's increase. It was necessary to provide sacrifices, to feed the Levities who owned no land of their own on which to grow food and nothing to sell to buy food,. and to provide for all those Old Testament festivals' Giving to your local church today is not Tithing which was part of the cerimonial law which pointed to Christ and has been fulfilled.
