I was in the audience that night, it was my first time seeing paramore live, but I've been a fan since I was 12 (2008-9) I cried so much. I didn't realize she had never sang it live- but I was surprised because it was the first time over the tour that the main setlist was really changed beyond the changes for ACL festival. She was electric. Everyone was crying and yelling- I sang and cried at every song and I ruuuuined my voice for a couple of days- which never happens. It was all because I was crying so much. I have the kind of parasocial relationship with paramore/hayley that I was convinced I'd never ever see them live in a way where I wasn't in nosebleeds. I'm so grateful for this festival for giving me that chance.
I still haven't seen them live either and I've been the biggest fan for as long as I can remember liking music, I finally got tickets to see them in London next year and I know I'm gonna be crying my eyes out at the concert. If they sing All I wanted I'm literally gonna shit myself ahahahah
Not just rare, it's never happened before at all! This is currently the only live performance we know of. Hayley absolutely can still do those old songs the way she did back then. The thing is she used to blow her voice out a lot singing that way all the time. I'm sure that's why this song was done at a festival. She's said before that doing it night after night on tour would be too hard on her physically. I've seen Paramore live a few times and she's still the best vocalist I've ever heard.
She’s the fuckin Queen! As a fan I felt so proud and happiness for Hayley because I know she’s been wanting to perform that song, but it’s too hard on her vocals to do it every night. I cried when I saw this because I was just so happy for her and for all of us OG Paramore fans. It’s just so amazing.
The original song key was different back when they recorded the song because hayley had a different singing technic that later on damaged her voice to the point that she almost lost it, now she adapted to a new technic wich is healtier but sounds a bit different, also she is older and i think voice age too! So thats probably it
@@Inferno-fps im not talking about the high note. I talking about the song in general…. I know she can hit those notes.. the progression of the song the technic she’s is using to sing it is not the same as brand new eyes,,, thats what im talking about…
you should check out her song "Over Those Hills" from her second solo album - Hayley's lows there are just unbelievable, she's so versatile with her range
and what a treat is was! and no i was not there (i freaking wish). let me start by saying this was the 1st song off the setlist, nobody knew, every fan in the audience was probably in shock lol. also want to mention this was in Vegas where it was EXTREMELY windy, they even canceled the first day of the festival. the poor Paramore fans who had Day 1 tickets unfortunately missed out on the one and only performance of this song.. i feel for them 🥲 do you think there were people in the audience not knowing how special it was this song was even performed? i'm just imagining them noticing everybody around them sobbing and screaming along to the lyrics and being like "wtff??" 🤣🤣
Paramores my favorite band, I’m up to 48 times I’ve seen them live, and they were the main reason I went to the festival. I had a Saturday ticket but luckily was able to get a last minute sunday ticket when Saturday was cancelled. I’m so happy I did, cuz if I had missed this I would’ve thrown myself down some stairs. I was by myself, and just before they came on I heard someone say “I wonder what they’re gonna open with” and I said back to them “this is why, they’ve been opening with that every show so far this tour”, and then 2 minutes later, I heard the first guitar note for all I wanted and LOST MY GODDAMN SHIT! I was freaking out, screaming, just saying oh my god, what, you’re kidding me. I was shaking and had tears in my eyes. And no one except one girl around me was having any kind of reaction similar. Some people knew the song and were singing along, but after I was like “this is my 46th time seeing them live, and they have NEVER performed that!” And when I said that everyone was shocked, they didn’t know so didn’t get how big of a moment it was. I actually recorded my reaction, and it’s on TikTok if you want to see what it was like for one of paramores biggest fans to get to experience it live. Same username I have on here if you search for it, rather_be_jaded
@@omelet-du-fromage9293 no, they didn’t! Which is another reason why I was so shocked! I always thought if they did play it, it’d be on parahoy, where everyone there would appreciate how big of a moment it was not with a bunch of people who mostly didn’t get it lol
@@YourOnlineSingingCoach there was a group of 5-6 of us in the general area of where I was standing who were all “… no way this is actually happening!”
Nice reaction, thanks. I see someone requested The Warning, I’ll second that. The guitarist is a big fan of Paramore also, and it should be noted that they all sing including the drummer who sometimes sings lead through some vigorous rockers, not sure how she does it. Thanks again.
Have you seen Paramore's "MTV Live Unplugged" performance/video? For me, it's the best thing they've done, and the best I've ever heard her sing. The small audience, and intimate venue/setting (and not having to sing over the band) really allows the nuances in her voice to shine.

Believe it or not shes done this song live more times since then and actually hit the notes even better!

People also forget this was towards the end of the set so cracking is expected. She nailed it as always. I’ll never turn down at going to a show.
This was the opening song
This was literally the first song lol
By the time they played Austin City Limits, she was completely comfortable singing the song--highly recommend checking that one out!
This was magical. First time ever, and being there was insane. I definitely teared up.
omg lucky you!!!
