- I had to find a way to close the gap between the roof and the walls that involved a lot of precise cutting around all of the logs. A friend of mine gave me these small planks a long time ago and I knew that sooner or later I'll find use for them. I also installed the same planks on the A-frame in the loft as the final layer. At the beginning I did some work together with a friend and later in the A-frame my wife helped me.

Don't wait to long. I'm only 63 but have been suffering with Diabetes for 20 years and now High Blood Pressure and Neuropathy which makes everything I do very difficult. RUclips and it's creators such as Nik are amazing in the fact they are showing the world how hard work pays off. I wish I had had this in my life 60 years ago I would have turned out a much better person with a lot more skills than I have now. God Bless all of you youngsters. Things will go good for you if you just apply what Nik and others are showing you. God Bless you Nik.

I'm 31 and I've been a carpenter for 13 years I'm now a contractor for the last two. I can honestly say that this structure is built really well. the finish work kills me but this guy knows what he's doing just look at how well he flashed those windows. This dude rules

The horizontally fastened boards round your windows look really great. I personally think that is much prettier and stylish than the usual four boards for the four sides of a window reveal. That is a big inspiration you gave to me. Thanks..

Took you guys a minute to make a mass production work bench with pre drilled pilot holes once half realized the exponential scale of production needed just to sustain installation times. So good.
