I played Rooster 4 years ago and then Oliver Warbucks recently and I tell you Rooster was the most fun I have had in a role, tied with doing trunchbull in Matilda. Don’t get me wrong playing Oliver was great to, but there is something about playing the villain and getting to just have pure fun and just in a sense hamming it up. As kids you always hate the villains, but when you get older you see how fun playing evil can be. You drive the story, and for some weird reason always get a very catchy number lol.
Just finished being Rooster! Absolutely loved the part so much! It was so fun and easy street is a bop. My school is now doing Annie and I loved the part so much that I am going to audition for it again!!
I played Mrs Hannigan when I was younger which was such a full circle moment as it was also my first ever Broadway show I ever saw. SO much fun. Another notable role was grandma Bertha in Pippen who happened to have the longest solo in the whole production and that was also a blast! Now if I could be cast as Mrs Hannigan on a major production stage again that would really be the dream!
I auditioned for hannigan and got lily, I am honestly gassed about getting to play lily, as we're getting further into the show, I'm getting more glad that I was cast as lily, she is such a fun role omg
I think the musical arrangement from the original movie is the best. The orchestration of the music and the sweet blend of the three vocal parts, make it the perfect version for this song.
im watching this and i love the hannigan!! ive been casted as hannigan in my schools production along with my best friend who got lily were sooo hyped.

This miss Hannigan isn't the same as the miss hannigan in the original annie, miss hannigan in the original annie played the roll brilliant, it's just this one isn't the same, think I might of looked for someone else.
Well, this is a play. That was a movie and Carol Burnett is one of the best. Not every theater star is gonna be movie quality but in my opinion this miss Hannigan did well
Well, In this particular song she is not supposed to be creepy. She's supposed to be very excited and gleeful for the plan. This isn't the whole play just a tiny part
