Packraft-Ski-Bike-Hike | Durango Multisport Loop

80 mile solo self-support loop in the southwest San Juan mountains above Durango, CO. Bike-Hike-Paddle-Hike-Ski-Hike-Paddle in the Hermosa Creek Wilderness, Upper Dolores River, and la Plata mountains. Ditched bike after the the first leg for later retrieval but otherwise carried all gear start to finish on this 2-night route, July 2019:

the skis are inside the boat. The bike I soaked in high grade plum brandy and set on fire .

@@ksbancroft 151! Some of the alaska guys have been doing packraft + ski/bike/paraglider stuff for years now. Only a few places where it's not terribly contrived to do such a trip in the lower 48.
