- 80 mile route by ski, packraft and foot through Wyoming's Teton wilderness in June 2020, including a ski descent of one of the most remote peaks in the lower 48 to gain access to the headwaters of Thorofare Creek.

When I led a crew a few years ago on Forrest McCarthy's Du'mor route I was intrigued by the rolling alpine plateaus we caught glimpses of between the Shoshone and Buffalo watersheds in the southern Absaroka, along the continental divide. It turned out to be more spectacular than I had imagined, well worth the skipacking effort, mudwallowing and high-water creek navigation.

Blown away by the quantity and quality of the adventures you share. Really inspiring!
Epic! With a soundtrack that mirrors the adventure. Nice cinematography.
Great video guys. An epic trip. Adding to my bucket list. :)
Outstanding!
Inspirational.
Wow! I need to do this trip again... so wild up there. but to do it with skis? just Wow.
Pure beauty man. Amazing.
thanks. make sure you get on the dumor sometime!
Gosh WY is awful
Geez! Those are the shabbiest skins I’ve ever seen. Way to get your money’s worth!
And where are your buddies stashing their skis on their packrafts?
Blue, green and red packrafts; black, green and blue skis. Only the blue boat ever has skis (green) on it. Where are the others? Is there some Hollywood-ing going on here?
@@veronicaspeedwell7530 Many modern packrafts are equipped with zippers that allow gear to be stored inside of the tubes. On this trip our group had two such packrafts (red and green) with skis+backpacking gear+boots stored internally. The boat with no zipper carried one pair of skis plus all of our axes and crampons inside a backpack on the bow. Thanks for your question. And yes, those skins were the subject of frequent ridicule - they ripped in half two or three times on this route.
@@jeffreycreamer Any tips for packing skis in the packraft? Do you wrap them, pad them, or secure them in any way? Thanks!
I need my next adventure with you. Also, 5 months since your last upload, wadupwidat?
I'll probably have a bunch out when the new boat comes out
Very impressive. So fucking jealous....makes me realize that my skiing and adventures are pathetic.
