I honestly feel like Lightspeed Rescue never gets the credit it’s due. A somewhat realistic representation of how power rangers would exist in today’s world, the ONLY ranger(Titanium) to not have an original Sentai counterpart, one of my favorite Red Rangers ever, AND the best morphing sequence from power rangers imo. The rangers feel like a genuine friend group in Lightspeed Rescue. They support each other, but they tease one another, they will help each other whenever necessary, but they will make prank each other. The best of the bunch being Keith Robinson as Joel Rawlings and Sasha Williams as Kelsey Winslow, they all absolutely sell the rangers as friends the audience enjoys spending time with.
Not just that, but the fact that their identities are open to full disclosure makes for the only season where the heroes identities are known to the public. A complete reversal for what had been the case thus far.
Vo AcADa c 0 LoL Depends on what you want from it. In terms of music, it's one of the worst aside from the theme. If you want acting, it has some of the strongest. If you want editing, it's hit and miss such as how a lot of the episodes had thier dramatic flaire removed following 9\11 since a lot of buildings exploding were cut. I mean, fucking hell, "Destiny Defeated" aired three days before the attack and it took a full week for another episode to be released due to the momorials and shock. In fact, the edited episodes are technically lost media since the ones available for purchase and on Netflix and the like are the unoriginal unedited version. I only know of them because of Morphylogeny. If you want good villains, Ransik is better than RPM's Venjix if you ask me for two reasons. 1. Ransik has an actual motivation whereas Venjix just wants to conquer the world because potatoes. 2. Ransik feels better written than Venjix since Venjix comes across as "I'm evil because I want to be" although both aren't exactly Shakespearean.

Actually, this was part of the disney era. The Saban (aka Zordon) era ended with In Space. Saban then lost the licensing to disney who pretty much put the shows on all of their channels. Then around 2010 or so saban got the licensing back, and the neo saban era was born with... *sigh* samurai

Just finished watching Lightspeed Rescue for the first time. It absolutely RULES. Carter is my new favorite Red Ranger by a long shot, and honestly the whole cast is just so charming. Also has some of the best stunt work and one of the best finales in the entire franchise.

This theme encapsulated the essence of the show, it wasnt too cheesy on the heroic, made me remind of my childhood.
