    IMPORTANT INFORMATION
    _____________________________________________________________
    Jay Nation is no longer the active RUclips account associated with Sleight of Hand 101. Sleight of Hand 101 was meant to guide beginner card magicians into the realm of magic and then to push them towards higher learning through other cardistry entities. There are 31 tutorials under Sleight of Hand 101 and there will be no more posts. I understand that this may frustrate some of you, but my new media business "Milson Productions" is my passion and will lead this channel forward from here on out. I hope you can understand. Please enjoy the tutorials and, if you dare, check out some of my new creations under Milson Productions! Thank you!

    With bottom controls, I learned how to move one from top to bottom during the swivel false cut, and no one I've shown has really picked up on it. The biggest issue with that is I have to start with the card on the top, which may not always work for a trick.

    The card force that you used in the tutorial is called the underspread card force. 52kards actually posted a tutorial on this. And anyways, great tutorial as usual.

    Hey good to see you back! Brilliant tutorial. I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on the classic pass? I have the move down pretty good but I think that it is such an important move in card magic that everyone needs to know! Thanks in advance. Again brilliant tutorial!

      @MatchuFtw  10 лет назад

    • @TaranHarveyChadwick
      @TaranHarveyChadwick 10 лет назад

      Jay Nation would love to see a performance video of you doing it if that would be possible. Takes a long time and a lot of practice to completely master the pass or any other move for that matter. The pass is by far my favourite control and it is the only control I really use. I just love it!
      Would love to see a video of you doing it if it isn't too much trouble for you.
      Thanks is advance.

      You know McBride has a video tutorial right? He's got to be the best card manipulator ever and he teaches a LOT (probably not all, but it seems that way) of his stage act - the one that won him magician of the year. He doesn't teach the mask part though:(

      Ya man. I watched that video a long time ago when I was starting out! I still believe you have to check out everything and see what resonates with you.
      He certainly has a unique theatrical style that's fun to watch.

      Look at his deck. It's older than the Price is Right. You try a one handed fan with cards that stick together. Jarek 1:20 (everyone's hero) ALWAYS uses BRAND NEW cards which is why his fans are so perfect. Besides, he's teaching the color change, not the fan

      It's good to over explain things, you know a lot of people struggle to get started with sleight of hand. You might be experienced, but some and a lot others aren't
